If I Leave London At 11pm What Time Am I Going To Reach Sydney Australia

Where's the best shopping in sydney?

David Jones in city and around the area (Castlereagh St, King St, etc). There is Chanel, Burberry, Mont Blanc, Bally, Boss, Luiss Vuitton, Gucci, etc. Westfield Bondi Junction is also nice. All the shops are in one building making it convenient. Otherwise, Paddington is a good shopping spot for middle to upper class brands, more trendy brands, nice for young adults. There are a lot of Australian Designers shops at Paddington.

Fred flew to Melbourne, Australia. The flying time to Melbourne, which is 11 hours ahead of Britain, was 21 hours. Fred's flight left London at 11.30am on Tuesday. What time was it in Melbourne when Fred's flight arrived?

Time of leaving London is 11.30 am on Tuesday. The corresponding time at Melbourne is 11.30+11.00 = 22.30 -12.00 = 10.30 pm TuesdayTranelling hours 21 hours.= 1.30+12+7.30So to find arrival time 10.30pm +1.30+12 +7.3ie it will reach Melbourne at 7.30 pm (Melbourne time) on Wednesday.

What country has the latest time in the world? For example Australia is ahead of the UK by one day. Which country is furthest behind on time?

In theory, just east of the International Date Line, it’s 12 hours behind Greenwich (GMT) and just west of it, it’s 12 hours ahead.Except that Tonga is 13 hours ahead because apparently they find it more convenient to be on the same day as their nearby neighbors. But American Samoa, not far away, is 11 hours behind because apparently it’s more useful to be using the same day as the mainland U.S.Most places, times zones differ by one hour from their neighbors. But not everywhere. China, which is as wide as the U.S., has a single Time zone (GMT+8). So when you cross from Kazakhstan (GMT+6) to China, your time changes by two hours. Afghanistan (GMT+4.5) has a tiny border with China, so the time changes by 3–1/2 hours crossing the border, the most extreme offset in the world.A number of places, like Newfoundland (GMT-3.5), India (GMT+5.5) and central Australia (GMT+9.5) have fractional time zones. I’ve been to Newfoundland. Once you set your watch, you totally lose any awareness of being in an oddball time zone.

What do Australians do at night since most shops close early?

I am not sure which little country town the above respondents live in, but so much crap, very little fact.Australia is not part of Asia but a continent and nation to the south. Some shops may close early week nights but Friday to Sunday the city and suburbs are alive to early hours. And we don’t care what Asia does.Someone’s comments about the lock out laws in Sydney are so incorrect it is funny.Conspiracy theory!!!!The clubs stopping people from entering after certain hours is to get the drunks off the streets and not let them enter the clubs. It is to stop alcohol driven violence. Get the drunks to go home so people who don’t think drinking themselves stupid and punching people can have a good night.Australian cities have a good nightlife.Restaurant owners and staff have a life, too and want to go home at a decent hour, not waiting around for a few people buying nothing can sit in comfort socislizing

About how many international flights fly out of Sydney a day?

Basically 1 every 10 minutes or so between 6am and 11pm daily, 100 give or take few depending on the day and season.Sydney Airport has a strictly enforced curfew ($500,000 fine applicable) for jet airliners between 11pm and 6am due the the flight paths flying over inner suburban residential districts. Some take-offs and landings are permitted between 11 pm and midnight and 5am to 6 am, but only in extreme cases, and usually involving newer, quieter aircraft.Emergency flights are exempt from the curfew, as are light aircraft but they are required to pay a relatively large landing fees to do so which makes it a rare event.

Can you sleep in an airport if you just arrived and don't have a flight the next day? Is it safe, and is it even allowed?

This is definitely possible, so long as you look like a tourist.Over the last four years I've managed to sleep in three airports without a ticket nor a boarding pass, and this was before going through security.  Unlike some of the other answers here, I wasn't hassled at all by security in all the times I've done this. The first time I did this was in Porto, Portugal on Easter Sunday in 2012.  Yes. I actually took a picture of the airport during my stay there.I ended up arriving a day before my friend was able to accommodate me at his place up in Braga, around an hour away.  Because it didn't make sense to pay for a hostel bed, I spent the night at the city's airport. (Of course, as a consequence my camera was stolen — the first and so far only time that happened to me at an airport.  Oh well.)The second time I did this was in Warsaw, back in 2014.  I had no place to stay after two nights in the hostel, so I decided to rough it out for a night before moving into a friend's place.  Aside from the humming noise of the floor polishers, it wasn't so bad, and the people there certainly didn't mind. The third and latest time I did this was later that year, in San Francisco.I arrived late and couldn't check in until the next day, so with my suitcase in tow I spent the night at the arrivals section.  It's unusual to be here at night, though I did manage to speak to a couple of Filipinos who were also roughing it here.  Early the next morning I hopped on the BART with no hassles whatsoever, although I did have to figure out how on Earth to use the bathroom when in the wee hours of the morning they were almost all closed. That said, your mileage may vary according to the airport you're in.  With respect to JFK, I've slept there after security (as I was connecting from Toronto via Atlanta back to Pittsburgh), but not before, so I can't really comment on it.  So far the airports I've been in have been quite accommodating towards people staying the night.  Others may not be, but I hope I won't have to encounter them soon.  Hopefully JFK will be able to accommodate you somehow, especially if you're in one of the newer terminals.
