If I like then unlike something does it show up in their notifications?
Me and my ex have just made up (not get back together but decided to be civil) so I accepted his friend request on Facebook and was mindlessly going through his news feed when I liked a status by accident! My face has gone BRIGHT red, when I unlike it does it show up in his notifications or can I just die of embarrassment now hahah?

The only way someone will know if you unliked something is if they noticed you liked something before and then noticed that you no longer liked that something. But they won't get a notification of you unliking that something. Me, personally, I don't pay enough attention to see if someone unlikes something I post.

When you like something it will show up on your profile and on the persons profile/news feed whose link or status or whatever you liked. When you unlike it it deletes the like removing it from your profile and your friends. After the unlike there will be nothing on facebook to show that you liked it. I dont think you can get email/text notifications for like-s, like you can for comments.........

no, but they wont care if they see the like notification then its gone

Yes... but... I experimented with this because the same thing happened to me. And if the person was online at the time, you're **** outta luck. If not, the person may see a little red notification box right when they log in, but they will see it disappear. If other friends liked the picture before you, then all they'll see in that notification box is that those people liked the photo. And they'll be confused probably. But if no one else liked it but you, then the notification just disappears, they don't see your name, and you're embarrassment free. Hope that made sense.

Depends.If you like, the notification goes. If you dislike, it takes time for the notification to disappear.If the person accesses the notification before it disappears, all he sees is page not found. He/She will not be able to see which post you liked.The notification disappears again. He/She will not be able to access it again. You would get a notification if the person has liked the post ( and if you have enabled notifications for your FB posts). When you go to the post and view that he/she doesn’t feature in the like post list, means they have un-liked it.

Page owners do have access to the full list of people who have liked there page, if they have under like say 100 likes and remember your name, they may notice it is now gone. There is no notification that tells page owners you unliked them. Yes unliking the page will stop the updates from appearing on your feed.
