When creating a Facebook page, will my friends be notified about it?

Do you mean you’re creating your own Facebook profile from scratch and asking wether your friends that are already there be notified about that? However insane that sounds, they will be. But note that ‘People you may know’ suggestions are based on:mutual friends (meaning that your profile will be suggested to friends of your friends on Facebook);communities (meaning that your profile will be suggested to Facebook users from the groups and communities you’ve joined);networks (meaning that your profile will be suggested to Facebook users, who mentioned the same networks in their profile as you did, for example, school, workplace, etc.);recognisable photos (you were or were not tagged in) with your face on it (only if you uploaded your real picture to your profile). To make sure all the people you want to add on Facebook know about your new profile, follow these steps:Open your Facebook mobile app.Click on the list icon on the right bottom corner.Choose the line called “Friends”.Tap ‘Contacts’ optionClick on ‘Get started’Your contacts will automatically be uploaded to Facebook and Facebook will make the list of friends for you to add.Check out also other options of uploading your contacts from other accounts (ex. email).

Does your friends on Facebook get notifications when you create a page on Facebook?

Your friends won't get a notification unless you decide to invite them to like your Page. Your profile also won't be linked to this Page in any way unless you decide to feature yourself as a Page owner.or….you turn your personal account to the Facebook page(with some conditions applied)It's against the Facebook Terms to use your personal account to represent something other than yourself (example: your business), and you could permanently lose access to your account if you don't convert it to a Page.If you're using your profile to represent a business, there are many benefits to converting your profile to a Page:Pages are designed for businesses and organizations, with features that help you connect with customers and reach your goalsYou'll have access to Page insights, where you can see metrics like which posts people engage with and visitor demographics like age and locationPage roles can let you give other people access to edit your PageYou can create ads and boost postsFor more information you could visit:Why should I convert my personal account to a Facebook Page?

When you create an Instagram account, does it automatically send out a notification to your Facebook friends that you joined?

Your Facebook friends are notified of your Instagram account when:You register an Instagram account using your Facebook account. You link your Instagram account to your Facebook account. It mainly when you register (or ‘create an account’) but it also occurs randomly. Being owned by Facebook, Instagram has an algorithm that runs and checks your Instagram followers and compares it to your Facebook friendsOnce it runs periodically and finds people that you don't follow, it will give you that notification in order to encourage social engagement between users.Even if you sign up for a private account, it may still notify those that follow you on Facebook. Not sure what to suggest, except that definitely don’t like Instagram to Facebook. But there still may be other ways that Instagram tells just about everyone you know, that you’re on Instagram. My husband and I don’t use Facebook and never have. He has people that know him, follow him because a notification popped up on their IG that ‘hey, this person you know is on IG’. It was nothing to with Facebook. It’s just that when you grant permission to IG when you download it from the App / Play store, you also unwittingly grant permission for it to read your contacts. it knows who you interact with maybe even through your phone book, emails, other social media apps, calendar appointments and who knows what else. From this, it can figure out who you know. For example Doris P is in your phone book, and her phone number in your contacts matches Doris P’s IG page, so it figures as you have Doris P’s number in your contacts, and maybe even call her now and then, you and Doris must be acquainted! So Doris gets a notification that you’re on IG, and you may also get one saying ‘hey, your friend Doris P’s page is here! Follow it!

When do your friends receive a notification saying "Your Facebook friend ________ is on Instagram"?

I've got a private account that i've never had connected to facebook and my boyfriend sitting next to me got a random notification saying that i was on instagram using my private account. I also had 5 people from my facebook add me on that account this afternoon. So i'm a little confused in regards to how the new linking accounts on instagram works - it looks like if you do that and have multiple accounts then your facebook friends might see that too.

Is it illegal to send friend requests to celebrities on Facebook?

I've never ever added any celebrities before and I never tend to do so, I only send friend requests to people that I know or people that I've met in-person before, such as my neighbors, friends from my school, relatives and family members. Those people know me very well because we've been hanging out with each other for years and I even made new friends with those good people. They've been knowing me for nearly 5 years. I will never ever add any celebrities whether they are males or females, it would nice to meet them and talk to them in-person, it is better off rather than being some of creep who just wants to fall in love with some random people. I also never ever ask for phone numbers on Facebook either because that would be stalking, which has really happened to me once when someone was asking me for my phone number on Facebook messenger, he was also mad at me because I refused to give out my number to him. Even though if I don't review their Facebook pages or ask them for their phone numbers, I will never tend or decide to add any celebrities on Facebook because I don't want to and I also don't need to know what they've been up to, that is just acting like a creepy stalker or perhaps being a creepy stalker. Thankfully I have no celebrities on my Facebook friends list.

What does itmean for someone to follow me on Facebook? Can anyone follow me and what can they see that I do?

Kari D.,
What she means by following you on 'FB' is simply she has also joined it. You may have sent her an invitation to join without realizing it. Or she could have joined through someone else's offer. However, be careful of what you say on your own 'FB', if she's joined on through your own friends, she will get every little thing that is said on your wall, or home pages. But, if like you go to chat or email someone else on there, or even go to her site to check things out without writing on her pages, she wont know anything about those things. No need to worry there. Just be careful of what you say to others about her, because she can get it email'd right to her own page. That is unless you were to say it like I said above through email or chat. She could also see you chatting however and go and try to join the conversation, I forgot about that. If she did, she will see what the last two or three things were, that were said. By whomever you were chatting with. Good Luck hun! It's a fun site, but if she becomes to much to bare switch to myspace. So, you can have a little freedom to do as you wish. She sounds like a bit of a 'Stalker' to me! Just by saying she followed you to 'FB'. Especially if you didn't invite her yourself. Strange if you ask me. Oh well it's a fun site dont let her get you down. Enjoy it while you can hun! Smile! It'll all work out! You'll see.:)
