It's quite simple actually.Stop visiting places where wild animals (who are better off in the wild) are kept in captivity.Speaking of my country - India - there's not a single zoo which genuinely cares for the animals. Not even Mysore Zoo - labelled as the cleanest zoo in India.The same can be said about a lot of countries around the world. Most animals are better off in their natural habitat than in captivity.It is not cool to visit Ski Dubai in UAE, and hug Penguins kept in captivity.It is not cool to visit Tiger Temple in Thailand, and feed milk to the tigers kept in captivity.It is not cool to visit Marine Life Park in Singapore to see a Shark put in captivity.It is not cool to visit to visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage in Sri Lanka, and feed the maltreated (and chained) elephants with fruits and milk.If you visit such places, you are inadvertently encouraging the administra(i)tors to continue with what they are doing. These animals suffer worse than you can imagine. They are called wild animals for a reason. Beagles are scent hounds and are attracted to many and various things. They are also highly food motivated, which makes them easy to train, (with positive reinforcement using treats as rewards), but they also will become obese if you feed them at will, which is very dangerous to their health. They'll eat poop because they smell the undigested food. It's just recycled dinner to them, so the only way to deter poop eating is to teach them the "LEAVE IT!" command and clean it up right away. Keep people food and anything that he should not have out of his reach at all times, particularly the trash and garbage cans.

No, rather some geneticists have shown in recent years that genomes are devolving not evolving due to accumulation of mutations eventually leading to sufficient corruption and loss of genetic information to cause extinctions. This has been called increasing Genetic Entropy and is what is to be expected under the 2nd law of thermodynamics. There are some mechanisms built in to genomes by design to counteract the effect of mutations but eventually the accumulation is inevitable. Mutations by definition corrupt and lose information . Some say we have seen beneficial mutations but these are under very limited environmental conditions and still represent a loss of information and renders the organism still generally less fit to flourish. The type of complex information and structural pathways required for creation by evolution of new novel characteristics by mutations and natural selection has never been observed in nature and is purely blind speculation and a world view and interpretation of what limited observable evidence we have. This world view is naturalistic and designed as an alternative explanation of origins to exclude a creator of supreme intelligence.
