If I Rent A Room In My House To Someone And They Dont Pay The Rent Can I Kick Them Out

How to kick someone out of your house that doesn’t want to leave?

My mom recently decided to rent out one of the spare rooms in her house to a man who needed a place to stay. It’s only been two weeks but he’s already shown my mom many reasons as to why she doesn’t want him in her house and also he still hasn’t paid rent so my mom told him that he needs to find somewhere to go because she no longer wants him in her house. He keeps making up excuses so she will let him stay but my mom’s choice has been made final. So basically he doesn’t want to leave and has brought up that my mom will need an eviction notice to get him to leave. He isn’t on the lease and they didn’t sign any type of agreement on paper or anything so what can I advice my mom to do?

If i rent a room in my house to someone and they dont pay the rent, can i kick them out?

Not until the sheriff executes your writ of possession. You need to get that first, it is illegal to kick anyone out of their home without a court order.

How can i kick someone out of my house?

I have a house that I don't live in currently. I grew up in that home. While I was away for school, my family asked me if a relative could room until he gets himself together and on his feet. I didn't ask for rent only that he takes over the bills for utilities. He found a job and got a car. He also allowed another family to move in with him under pretenses that they would be moving into an apartment once it was ready. I came home once to a very full house and I wasn't pleased nor was I comfortable in my own space. Then, to make it worse, I got into an altercation with the young woman who asked to use the space. I then asked for rent from both of them only to receive nothing. Now I want to reclaim my house back and move in and move on in my newly married life. How can i go about kicking out that very full house?

Can my parents kick me out if I pay rent and I don't have any money to move out?

I’m confused here. You have money to pay rent, but you don’t have money to move out?If you pay rent, you have the rights a renter has, which pretty much means you have the right to notice before being thrown out, and you can’t be thrown out until the next rent is due. But that’s not very helpful. If you have an actual lease, they can’t toss you until the lease is up. But that’s not a typical situation between parent and child. If your parents follow the legal requirements for notice, yeah, they can throw you out. And there’s nothing you can do about it.It’s time to ask why they want to throw you out. Are you a pain to live with? Are you disrespectful to your parents? Do you sit around smoking dope and playing video games instead of going to work or going to college? You could remedy any of these things, so that maybe they would be more comfortable with your continuing to live with them.

Can my mom kick me out if I'm 24 and paying her rent?

I have thought about yes "biting my tongue". I know I have 3 simple options here. Say no and move out, say yes and abide by the rules, or say yes and not abide by every single rule, like I have been doing. So logically I asked her what would happen if I didn't do all the rules and still lived there. She said thats no possible. I argued well no yes that is physically possible and I want to know what would happen then (which I think is a logical question). She was flipping out and making me sound "bizarre" o whatever. She is a mind ****. But I wouldn't put it past her to put my stuff outside. Either that or her rants would just get worse. It's just hard to put up with all her rules when I'm almost sure she will try and make other things up too and basically "babysit" everything I do. She also disapproves of many other things and will talk down to me but expect me to glorify her and listen o her stories she gets excited about. This messes with

If you pay rent can your parents kick you out of the house?

Renting from parents is like renting from anyone else. Even if you pay rent they can still kick you out if they feel you are breaking rules. Not to sure why they want to but anyways.

It is just like having your own place, you screw up and the landlord kicks you out.
Nothing you can do really but to deal with it and find a place to go. Even if you have proof of rent it doesn't mean they can't kick you out. It is their home, their rules, no matter if you pay rent or not.

If there is no rental aggreement of any sort, basically, you should start looking for a new place.

Good Luck

Who is supposed to clean the house when you rent out a room?

Well it all depends on what the lease says.if you don't have one, great! Time to make one with an addendum that clearly lays out expectations and responsibilities surrounding cleaning.if that doesn't work, you should still create an addendum for the next tenant/roomie.Another option would be to see if she's open, as a roommate to splitting the cost of a cleaning person, molly maids or something. Or try to force it on her with a raise in rent to cover half the cost. Or try to kick her out with a raise in rent…The real problem for answering this question (and creating an addendum) though is perspective. “Clean” means a lot of different things to different people.Maybe you have OCD or something, and require a level of cleanliness that is practically unattainable. Maybe your roommate is an absolute lazy pig that loves wallowing in filth. Be specific with items, actions, rooms, frequency, etc.
