Will i lose weight if i run a mile everyday?

Well it depends on how tall you are for one, if you are above 5'6 then 126 is quite thin. If you run 4 times a week for about 30-40 min as well as do weights 1-2 days a week that will help tone your body. How many miles you go is not as important as how long you go, the longer you go the more you burn. My suggestion would be to start with 20-30 min and work your way up. If you run 3 miles in 12 minutes that is not going to help a super lot. Try it and see if it helps, also try about 1700-1800 calories a day with that!! Hope it helps

Ok, I am a cross country runner and am 5'6.5" and weigh around 120lbs. You can run, which wile help with abdominal and other muscles so you can be toned, but 1500 calories is not enough. You're all and probably weigh that much because you have a lot of muscle. Eat low fat foods that are high in protein. You will lose fat and gain muscle. If you eat salads and such and only consume 1500 calories a day, you wil have no muscle. Also you probably gained so much weight because you grew, but it is always a good idea to exercise. Running on a trail or on a treadmill is a great option.

You are on a good start. Don't think 1 mile is all it takes. Monitor your weight and record it daily if necessary. Minimize your carb intake ( sugars, pasts'a, white bread, etc. ) I used to run until my knees told me to stop. I used to run 15 miles per week 3 x's per week and was able to keep my weight down. Biggest thing that adds weight is again , carbs. Obstain from chips, dips, cakes, desserts and things loaded with fat.

If you monitor your weight, even chart it on Excel, if need be, you can monitor over time how you are doing. If you see you are stagnant, cut back a little more. Gradual weight loss will work out better in the long run as opposed to quick weight loss.

Running 10 miles everyday for 2 months is not sustainable and at the end of those 2 months, your adrenals will be so wiped out, you'll gain all the weight you're trying to lose and more.5'8" and 150 is about ideal for male. For ladies, that may explain the weight need. Running that many miles for that long will shed weight - but it will shed muscle as well. You'll become skinny fat and then shake your fist that you ever started running. If you are serious about the weight loss and it's done in a healthy approach, combine your efforts with nutrition AND exercise. Exercise is only 20% of the equation, truth be told.Assuming you allow 8 weeks for your weight loss, you can reasonably lose 1-2 pounds per week in a safe manner without losing too much muscle. But instead of just turning to running, do some weight lifting. Look up videos about high intensity interval training.HIIT is known to increase your fat metabolism even after you stop exercising. As for your weight loss, you can dramatically lose 5-10 lbs. just in shifting what you are eating. Avoid processed foods, fast foods, carbohydrates as much as you can (less than 50 grams a day) and drink water vs. soda. Not even diet soda as sweeteners can cause an insulin response.Long story short - choose a method that is more sustainable for you and your body. Don't look at your life ending in 2 months. Set it up for success with an approach that you can do from now until you're in your 80's.Best of luck!

Sometimes I run a bit inbetween, but due to bad blood circulation in my legs I can't run/jog for very long, So i'm walking most the time. Will this help me lose weight at all?

yes running will help a lot, if u have a jump rope use it, a jump rope is beter than running actulay but do both and it will be great, also lift a little bit of weights, dont worry u wont get buff lol, but u will lose weight faster and have a nicer body as well, if u dont want to lift weights, then do push ups squats, pull ups etc, that will help u a lot. as for what to do when u use the treadmill, start by warming up on it, 5 min at least, then do about 5 min of jogging, and then sprint for 1 min, and jog for 5 and then do that over and over for a good 30 or 50 min, like i seaid if u want to add weights in the workout do them before the running, believe me if u add weights u will lose weight way faster, i kno becasue i lifted weights when i worked out and lost weight fast.

40 minute treadmill run and walk everyday.....will I lose weight?

ok.....I know this question has been asked before but I need to be a little more specific......ok here we go.......I get on the treadmill and do a workout thats already set into the treadmill....its pretty much a running workout where you start off walking for about 5 minutes and then you work your way up to running and you run for about 10 and walk and run the last bit.... the workout burns about 500 calories......I still eat what I want but I've never been one to eat a lot I always eat once a day anyway sometimes its a meal from mcdonalds or something or something like that and thats it....maybe some fruit too later on.....I do this workout every night so will I lose weight?.....I don't think I have a lot of calorie intake......I mean with normal activity burning calories and the 500 from the workout.....soooo......will I lose weight?.......before I started doing this I would eat whatever I wanted as much as I wanted and never gain weight anyway so I dunno....help please! thanks
