If I Take Hydrocodone 5/325 M

How strong is hydrocodone 7.5 325 and how is it used? What are some examples?

The Answer to (Part of) that Question Varies Greatly from Person to Person. “(How Strong)” a 7.5/325 is, Depends on Each Individual Patient, and How They Respond to a Particular Medication. For Some, it's Moderately Strong, and for Others, it's Relatively Mild in Terms of Strength/Effectiveness.Examples of Other Common Hydrocodone Doses Also includes: 5/325mg, and 10/325mg.Hydrocodone is Used to Treat “Moderate Pain,” and it's Also Been Approved for Cough Suppression. There are a Few Different Routes for Administering Hydrocodone, but Typically it's Given in Pill Form, to be Taken Orally.Due to the Potential for Serious Health Risks, (Primarily: Liver Damage, or Respiratory Depression) - Dosing instructions are Important to Follow, as Increasing the Recommended Amount/Frequency of Hydrocodone Can be Harmful or Deadly.*That's Primarily “What I'm Familiar with, According to Medical Experts,” Answer #1…However…Due to the Recent Opioid Smear Campaign that's Ravaging the Chronic Pain Patient Community, I'd Have to Say: IMHO- Hydrocodone 7.5/325 is a Fairly Low-Middle of the Road Analgesic Used for Treating Pain, but it's Certainly Not Powerful Enough to be Considered ‘(One of the Most Potent Medications Used for Pain Relief).' Again, IMHO.As I Mentioned Earlier, This Varies a Great Deal on an Individual Basis- Although in Patients Who Aren't Opioid Naive, or Have Significant Pain- This Dose is Relatively Low.For Those Familiar with the Use of Hydrocodone, You're Probably Not Wondering the Same Thing as Someone Who's Not Familiar, or a New Hydrocodone User. That Being Said, For Anyone Who's Just Starting Out on Hydrocodone - Take it as Directed, and Decide for Yourself if This is an Effective Dose/Medication, and then Talk to Your Doctor.Overall-(IMO) it is a Good/Effective Medication for Relieving Pain.(Dosing to be Determined).

Is it ok to take two 5/325 mg hydrocodone for pain? ?

Yes, you can take 2. I have a chronic pain condition and have a LOT of experience with pain meds AND other means of relieving pain.
Taking 2 to relieve pain is very different from taking more and more medication to try to get high. The tylenol levels are not high enough to cause a problem. So don't worry, take 2 if you need it. You're going to heal better if you're not in as much pain. Just be very careful as narcotic painkillers are addicting. If you notice that you're upping your dose or taking them for something other than pain, there's a problem. Hope you feel better soon!

Will two 5/325 hydrocodone make me high?

They may not help your back pain either but that doesn't mean you have to live with the pain. Back pains are caused by pinched muscles and to get rid of the pain you have to free up the muscles in your back and here's how to do that:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

5/325 mg hydrocodone?

Crazy answers up there.

The norco is not going to do anything to the lining of your stomach. The hydrocodone might make you constipated or, more rarely, a little nauseated, especially if you're young. Those are the only gastrointestinal side effects of norco. The acetaminophen has no GI side effects. Now, the liver is another matter, drinking beer and taking a medication with acetaminophen (paracetamol) is a bad idea and you can really damage you liver doing that. Just take the pain medicine. If you absolutely must, take a second pill but don't drink any booze on the stuff. The booze is what's dangerous, you could fall and hurt yourself more or just ruin your liver. Alcohol interacts with both hydrocone and acetaminophen in bad ways. Don't do that.

Depending on what kind of pain you are having, you may want to go back to your doctor and get a different dose or different medicine. I'm glad you asked about this and I hope you feel better soon.

What are the effects if I take 2 hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325mg tablets and 2 oxycodone-apap 5-325 mg tablets?

You could get a bit drowsy due to taking the opioids, in strength equaling about 30 mg oral morphine in total, see Page on Stanford.  I don't think it would cause a respiratory depression even in morphine naive persons.  As for the paracetmol, liver damage have only been recorded from taking 6,5 grams in one go, so the 1,300 mg dose won't be a problem.

What happens when you take hydrocodone and oxycodone at the same time?

Depending on how much you take of each, you'll get very sleepy and numb to pain. Both these drugs are narcotics (opioid pain relievers) which work by binding to receptors in the brain to prevent the feeling of pain.  While they are not necessarily dangerous to mix, there are a few things you may consider, namely:1.  Taking a recommended dose of each may cause overdose symptoms that would not have occurred had you only taken the one.2.  If you are taking these in a pill form they likely contain other pain killers.  The two most common forms of hydrocodone and oxycodone are Vicodin and Percocet respectively.  Both of these contain acetaminophen (an over the counter pain killer) and in consuming both you may be taking too much acetaminophen that you didn't account for.  Overdosing can cause serious damage to your liver along with other unpleasant side effects.Though these two drugs ultimately have the same effect, they are very different and have different side effects, which can be more or less prevalent depending on the person.  Their effectiveness is also not linearly related to the dosage (i.e. taking 2x the amount doesn't necessarily mean 2x the strength).  This can make it difficult to find a good balance when taking both while still remaining at a safe dosage overall. All in all, if you are going to take both (or any pain killers for that matter) you should consult with a doctor about how much of each you should be taking. How many 5/325 can I take to equal two 10/325 hydrocodone tabs?

depending on your tolerance its okay to take more than one of these. the 5 is the mg of hydrocodone in the pill, the 325 is the tylenol. ..its not really the mg of hydrocodone to worry about (IF YOU ARE USED TO THESE DRUGS) BUT youre not supopse to take more than 1000 mg of tylelol in one dose...you can every 4-6 hours. but remember if you arent used to these, taking too much of the hydrocodone CAN give you shallow breathing, and very serious life threatning problems. be safe...you know how much pain you are in.

Can you take hydrocodone with ibuprofen at the same time?

Yes you can , with the precautions Charles Schink mentioned in his post. Provided all prescribers are aware if more than one is involved , no problem with the two together.

Which gives better pain relief: Hydrocodone 5-325 or Ibuprofen 600mg?

If the cause of pain is mild inflammation and the level of pain is not high the ibuprofen may provide more relief by attacking the cause of the pain. If the cause is not inflammation and/or the level of pain is more severe the hydrocodone will be more effective. Hydrocodone is a strong pain reliever but it has no effect on inflammation. Ibuprofen is a weak pain reliever but is an anti-inflammatory. So if the cause is inflammation, getting rid of the inflammation will eliminate the pain. To best address the problem it is common to see a patient receive an anti-inflammatory in conjunction with a narcotic for better pain relief than either would provide on its own.
