If I Take Protein Powder With Boiled Water Will It Help Me In Reducing Fat

How do I take protein powder, with water or milk?

However you like it. If your goal is bulking up, lifting heavy and gaining muscle and strength, then take it with milk. If your goal is to just lose weight, or if you are just taking it to supplement your nutrition, or if you are cutting down on calories or if you experience bloating after taking protein with milk, you can take it with water. Some flavours like Cookies and Cream, Strawberry, Coffee, Vanilla, etc. taste better with milk than with water. Others like Mocha Cappuccino, and other chocolate-based flavours or crémé flavours taste better with water than with milk. If you like to have a smooth shake, try mixing it with very slightly warm milk/water for better consistency and more uniform mixing. (Not hot milk/water, else the protein quality is destroyed.)

Will eating boiled green grams help us to lose weight, or do they have to be soaked instead of boiled? Which is better?

Both have their own advantages & disadvantages. While soaked grams are better source of proteins and fibres, it is difficult to digest and produces gas. On the other hand, boiled grams are better for digestion but some degradation of proteins and fibres might happen on boiling. So, the choice is yours.Anyways, high-protein and fibre sources like peas are good for weight loss. However, please note that weight management is a combination of diet and exercise with around 80% contribution coming from diet and remaining from Exercise.Firstly, please calculate your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate), which is basically the calories required for meeting your normal metabolism. Please visit Health Calculator on our website to calculate the BMR for yourself. Now in terms of diet, restrict your intake in terms of calories to be lower than your BMR. Eg. If your BMR is say 2500 K Calories, restrict your dietary input to around 2000–2200 K Cals.Within that, please take care to cut down on saturated fats and carbs, especially simple carbs like sugars. Instead focus on more proteins and fibres. With this, the body would be deprived of basic energy sources like Carbs and Fats and would be forced to utilise stored fats to convert into energy and meet the BMR.Physical exertion of min 45 minutes for 5 days a week (this may include running, jogging, cycling, etc or strength training) is necessary to hasten your metabolism and therefore your fat-burn. Further, higher physical exertion leads to development of lean muscle mass, which is aptly supported by proteins in your diet.Take some natural anti-oxidants to further aid in this fat-burning process. We would suggest you to try Proliva Sport Recovery, which contains 100% Whey Protein Isolate & Whey Protein Concentrates, which would help you meet your required proteins and also aid in weight loss.Visit us for more information.

Will showering with cold water burn more calories?

I usually take a hot shower (not ultra hot though). I heard that if you turn off the hot water so it will just be cold water pouring on you that you will lose fat (they say it only takes 30 seconds of cold water). You lose fat because the cold water speeds up your metabolism or something like that. So, if that is true, if your shower is cold the whole time, will that help shed fat more than just the 30 seconds? I know the coldness would suck but enduring it for 5-10 would be doable if it means speeding up my metabolism. Anyone know about this method?
