Tagging On Facebook, I untagged myself but the picture still there?
Ok So My friend posted a picture of me on facebook, and I don't like it that much. She tagged me on it. I untag myself thinking it would delete the pic too somehow. But it didn't I untagged myself but the picture is still up. How can I delete That picture? It still appears on either mine or hers...
If I untag myself in a picture, will the person who tagged me be notified?
They will only know if they look and see you not tagged. Go for it. Its normal to untag yourself from photos that you don't want everyone to see, they shouldn't be offended.

To remove the tag from a photo that someone else has uploaded and tagged you in, simply view the photo, and then choose "remove tag" at the bottom next to your name. The photo will no longer be linked to your profile. Please note that if you remove tag, no body will be informed. Also note that if you tag a user in a photo that you did not upload, you cannot remove or edit the tag. Only the owner of the photo and the tagged user will be able to do so. Please note that you can set your notifications so that you always know when someone tags you or one of your photos. You can control this setting from the "Notifications" tab on the Account Settings page. Take Care :)

No, he won't get any notification. But if he checks out the picture , then he won't find u in " tagged people" anymore . So if you really want to hurt your best friend by removing yourself from the tag , go for it. She may not notice it now , but she will , one day. She will not always ask " why you remove her from tags , but she will not tag you anymore. She may not always say it , but she will not consider you her bestfriend anymore .
Is it rude to untag yourself from a friend's photo on Facebook?
My friend tagged me in a few photos from an album she posted on Facebook and then a few days later, I untagged myself. Is this rude? Will she know I untagged myself?

No he wont, but he can still find out because he can see others but not you. Safer option would be to control tagging by hiding it from your timeline. This way those tags wont appear on your feed and your can save the embarrassment.

Let me rephrase that. Example: Someone tagged you in a picture that you don't like of yourself. If you untag yourself, will the person who tagged you be notified?
