If Indoctrination Is Good For The Brain Why Am I Being Forbidden From Getting It

Is the religious indoctrination of children a form of child abuse?

confident.what share Roman Catholics from a definite era have been indoctrinated by way of bullshit from the super P interior the super V while they have been babies? How plenty hatred exchange into formulated in places like Northern eire by way of this.I undergo in techniques as quickly as a clergyman asserting a individual had Protestant hair and have faith me they weren't having a foul hair day.I additionally undergo in techniques my Granda who hailed fro Donegal hiding from the grimy beast under the mattress because of the fact he had not attended mass.it is sparkling that each physique this conditioned behaviour exchange into set in place in youthful human beings.I undergo in techniques the Priest telling me that i exchange into sinning because of the fact I loved the Greek and Roman classics and their mythology.I asked him the place then did they get the veneration of Mary from and actually that alter right into a right away sin against the Jewish commandments and did not Christ go through under the Jews.It is going around and around and around. What i think of is all faith could be hush hush.our babies could learn compassion and forgiveness.good techniques good action.actually all concept systems could be studied and there flaws and contradictions suggested. If Jesus exchange into the only course to heaven then why maximum of distinctive variations of Christianity right now?All concept systems have certainty interior of them and as Jesus reported," I definitely have come to undergo witness to the reality," then relatively, metaphorically what's so incorrect in searching for the reality? The Silva Mind Control Method - Getting into forbidden territory?

I appreciate all the answers to my previous questions. You guys are really great! Now I am asking you about another thing that has been bugging me for quite a while. I like the Silva Method and have been practicing it for a few months now. I feel it has helped me on basically all aspects of my life, but I sometimes feel that getting in touch with "the other side" could be considered as getting into forbidden territory. Also, the idea of creating advisors or consultants (as far as I'm concerned these are mind entities that can help you when making decisions) seems a bit fishy to me. I should mention that I aim to become a true christian and even though I love the idea of self help and the Silva Method in particular, I don't want to compromise my faith. I hope all this makes sense to you, but if you think I am being paranoid here, tell me openly. I can take reasonable criticism. Thank you in advance for your help and take care.

Brain stimulation - why is it important?

different parts of your brain function for different things, by doing a variety of things, drawing (or in ky case doodling) listening to music, math problems, reading you are firing up different parts of the brain.
Recently Doctors have started to link between active brains and disease like Alzheimer and Parkinson's, It seems the more stimulated we keep our brains the less likely we are to get these disease (or if we do get them they won't have as much as a devastating effect on our memories)
Keeping your brain active will also boost your IQ.

hope this helps

Is brain drain good or bad for India?

Brain drain is completely a bane for a developing country like India. It is actually a barrier for the development of the country. Talented and qualified people migrate from India to the developed countries in search of better lifestyle and opportunities. Many of the students after graduating from top institutions like the IITs migrate which comes as a huge cost to the country's human resource. Despite of being the second largest producer of doctors, engineers and scientists India still is unable to develop at a rate which it is expected to and I believe the major reason behind it is brain drain. If people like sundar pichai would have resided in India they would have definitely proved to be an asset to the country. There are many more people like him. I am not saying that it's their fault who abandon India to shift somewhere else. They do this because they don't get satisfactory facilities here.

Does religious indoctrination really exist?

In the psychology of human behavior, denialism is a person's choice to deny reality, as a way to avoid a psychologically uncomfortable truth. As I will illustrate, with an actual example, denialism is part and parcel of religious indoctrination, necessitated by foundational doctrines and dogmas based on unverifiable claims of the unobservable (the supernatural and God) and the impossible (resurrection of Jesus). It’s a common way to assuage the cognitive dissonance of faith in the modern age. This denialism is revealed in the question details, above. And I quote:From these answers I have learned that the doctrine of religious indoctrination is very, very firmly fixed in the mentality of the rationalist atheist. It is dogma. That lame claim is a form of denialism known as reversalism:Religious organizations have begun defending their religions, stating that since one can not prove a negative, then atheists who point out the scientific inadequacies within religions must, necessarily, be dogmatic. The arguments often depend on the presuppositionalist's view that since they believe their idea of God created humans, then anything that humans do to counter their religion is dogmatic.Indoctrination begins as early as infancy, with infant baptism. Religious schools inculcate children with religious curricula or catechism that they are too immature to comprehend. Thus, they internalize this indoctrination as, literally, unquestioned truth. Religious households have religious children’s books and both mealtime and bedtime prayers. Religious iconography adorns the house. Parents actively teach religious principles to their children. So yes, of course religious indoctrination really exists! It’s an observable fact in households around the world. And the results are not pretty. I can prove it with an actual example:And I quote:“Unless you’re willing to challenge your beliefs, you’re impervious to evidence.”The believer’s reply to that assertion constitutes its verification. This is how indoctrination works, folks. No amount of blunt, hard-hitting, reason (or cautious, friendly, reason) will faze the indoctrinated one iota.“If you could reason with religious people there would be no religious people.”For more detail about childhood indoctrination, please check out my answer to: Is childhood religious indoctrination a form of child abuse?

Pork is forbidden to muslim's, Is there any story behind this?

There is no story. Muslims must not eat it simply because it is ordained by the Islamic law (deen) However, many scholars have chosen to find reasoning in various facts like pigs hardly sweat which means toxins aren't released through perspiration but keep getting accumulated in the body. They eat anything including excrement, dirt, decaying animal flesh, or vegetables, maggots, even eat the cancerous growths off other pigs or animals. Most poisons don't kill them as they are wuite toxic themselves and have over a dozen parasites such as tapeworms, flukes, worms, and trichinae living within them. There is no safe temperature at which pork can be cooked to ensure that all these parasites, their cysts, and eggs will be killed so as to ensure they don't enter a human's sytem upon eating it.BTW, the Bible and Judaism also prohibits it!

Why am I getting absurdly big error when using neural nets with a lot of layers?

While there are a ton of reasons you might be getting bad output, I'd say that if you've ruled out an underlying error in how you've designed the program the problem is most likely your training set.Getting good training material even for a single layer neural net is kind of an art. Multi layer networks get downright arcane in how you need to train them. A short list of where things could be going wrong is:Too few examples to learn from.Too many examples, leading to overfitting. Not enough variety in your samples to allow for real world use.Too much variety, preventing a clear model from being produced.Poorly defined evaluation criteria. These are all going to be difficult to recognize without a pretty in depth examination if the underlying process. You might just need to experiment and see where things improve. AIs are inherently finicky, they often require a lot of experimentation before they can achieve the best results.

Why are we attracted to taboos?

I honestly don't think fetishes are as cut and dried as people maybe choose to believe. I think at any time most of us could be convinced to find some eroticism in things we might not otherwise find erotic. Perhaps not something you find disgusting.... but something benign. Say your partner was really turned on by your feet, but the stimulation of them is something you could take or leave. Over time you'd begin to associate having your toes sucked with sexual pleasure and something you could offer your partner to make him over-the-top aroused. Eventually you'd find that foot play to be quite satisfying, simply for the association with pleasure.

I think that's how many fetishes or unusual turn-ons begin, with that association with pleasure. As far as being able to find eroticism in something otherwise taboo, it could be as simple as opening your mind to it. Getting past the "eew" factor and allowing your mind to think of it in a sensual way-- the forbidden factor or "naughty" factor sometimes adds to the eroticism.
