If Messi Joined Real Mardrid Would You Finally Admit Hes Better Then Ronaldo

Given Ronaldo's age, which team got the better deal: Real Madrid or Juventus?

Uhm well let’s see (both perspectives)Real MadridPros:They sold a 33 year old player for £105.30m (which is totally profitable)With that money they can go for the young guns ( Neymar or Hazard most probably)They have started preparing for a new era. Their key players are of 30+ and replacing them is not an easy task to do (Just ask Barcelona) so it’s a good thing they have already started preparing for this.Cons:We are not talking about a normal 33 year old are we? He’s Cristiano Ronaldo! He just aged like a fine wine! He will be a pain in the ass to replace :PKing of UCL = Very well said.I’m a Barcelona fan but I have to admit he just plays on a different level in UCLThey will really miss his fear factorJust imagine your team is playing against Real Madrid. Sure they have one of the best teams in the world but when you hear real madrid the first player that comes to our mind (well mine atleast) is Ronaldo and I’ll always have that fear when he has the ball. Why? Because I know he’s that good! (the same goes for Messi). Now this fear factor plays an important role in the game. This spotlight makes sure atleast two or more defenders mark him throughout the game which directly decreases the pressure on his teammates.Ronaldo Effect Just look at this :Juventus shares soar as Ronaldo joins storied Italian clubCristiano Ronaldo's 100 million euro move to Juventus sends shares rocketing almost 40%His name = PromotionRonaldo is an international Icon. By buying him, Juventus not only made sure they are uplifted to a huge level but also the league.Serie A will surely try to get its name back to the best league in the worldIt’s pretty much difficult to say which team got the better deal because this transfer was inevitable.

If Ronaldo had joined Barcelona after United, would a Messi-Ronaldo combination be the deadliest in the world of football?

Let us assume Ronaldo moved in 2009 to Catalonia.Being versatile, Ronaldo and Messi could be deployed or rotated across a variety of attacking positions.Ronaldo and Messi complementing or feeding a central striker - Eto, Henry or Spanish all time goal scorer Villa!Sitting behind them - Xavi, Iniesta and BusquetsDefending goal - Puyol & Co.GULP!Apocalypse! Armageddon! In 2009 UCL final score was 2–0 to FCB. With Ronaldo, that match would have been 7–0 before being called off for mercy on opposition. Next year, they might have cancelled the Liga and UCL because no one wants double digit thrashings. On paper, this would be the most devastating combination ever.Behind the scenes, things might be slightly different.Firstly, FCB would have to go into a new level of debt to finance their wages. Even if they won UCL every year, the prize money would just pay these two! Barcelona would need Qatar Airways, Etihad & Emirates to sponsor them and Cules would face 400% ticket price rise as the demand for seeing these super-humans in one team would skyrocket beyond control!Secondly, there’s the question of whether they can play together? Moot point.I think if they started playing at early stages, they could have played well together. This has been done before. The unmatched AC Milan side had van Basten, Gullit and Rijkaard which was the equivalent of Messi, Ronaldo + Iniesta in one team!On paper, personality clash would seem inevitable but then, since both are on the same team, there would not be much scope for media to create an overhyped rivalry. Also if the roles were distinct (i.e. one is not chosen in place of another), then they could indeed build an understanding. In reality, a personality clash would perhaps not be as big as expected.A big factor is system based approach at Barcelona. With other players well-versed in Cruyffian ways, there would only have been a Ronaldo to accommodate. This is easier to do than suppose Messi moved to Real Madrid to play with Ronaldo, Bale etc.Definitely, the greatest combination in modern day football. If rumors are to be believed, Beckham is trying to unite CR7 and Messi at Inter Miami. While it seems unreal, we actually might get to see these players in one team!Leo-Naldo. El Super Fenomeno

Is Real Madrid suffering the loss of Cristiano Ronaldo?

Me- Big fan of Ronaldo- Always considered him the GOATEver since Ronaldo moved to Juventus, I watched every minute of Juventus games. I have seen very few minutes of Real Madrid games. Before the move I watched every Madrid game where Ronaldo played. Is Real Madrid Suffering the loss of Ronaldo???1- It isn’t as simple as that. We have seen Madrid play the same way even with Ronaldo in many games last season. Every great team fails in many games.2- On one hand we can’t ensure that it would be different if Ronaldo was in the team. On the other hand, we can definitely say that with Ronaldo in the team we would see a fighting spirit.3- You could see the spirit he showed against Napoli. Even when they were 3–1 up. Ronaldo wanted to attack while the others wanted to waste time.4- Real madrid is not missing Ronaldo specifically. They are missing a player like Ronaldo. Someone who thinks he can slam dunk Messi. Real Madrid has to compete with Barcelona. Barcelona has Messi. He is consistent. Bale, Asensio, Marcello, Modric, etc, even if combined, can’t do it for 10 years what Messi did. Even after the departure of Iniesta and Xavi, Messi has been Messi. Scoring and creating goals like breathing. To compete against Messi led Barcelona, you need someone who thinks he is the best, and therefore can work to get the same results as Messi. This is what Ronaldo did. Ronaldo just couldn’t digest that anyone, let alone a tiny man was better than him. He did everything he could to dethrone Messi. In my opinion he was successful. He had the hunger. The current Real Madrid players do not think that they can do what Messi does. They stop trying after a few failures. They have no one to motivate them. Ronaldo got his motivation from the challenge of being the best. Others have admitted that they are no match to Messi and Ronaldo. So Madrid needs someone like Ronaldo.5-There are multiple teams that do not have Ronaldo. They have learnt to play without Ronaldo.6- Real Madrid has many players with x factor. Players who are capable of producing magic. But they have a low consistency rate. When one fails, everybody else fails. Besides, they have failed in only 3 games. This can also be attributed to luck. Even with Ronaldo they drew with Atletico and lost to Spurs in UCL. They are a great team with great individuals. They will find their feet without Ronaldo.

Why can't Ronaldo fanboys admit Messi is the GOAT?

I am neither the fan of Ronaldo nor Messi. I am the fan of Football. Now this is a universal debate who is the best. I would go on to say both are. You cant compare them on the same metrics, both have their strength and weaknesses. Comparing them would be an insult.Cristiano plays on the wing and he is deadly finisher. He has constantly innovate himself to his strength as per his age and diminishing body strength and pace. He is 33 and still performing at the highest level and we cant say when he will stop. Its like watching a never ending movie. Every year there is a discussion station this is the last year Ronaldo is performing at this level and every year he proves them wrong.Coaches also played a huge role in his success. When he joined Madrid in 2008 Barcelona was at its peak and Madrid was diminishing powerhouse. After Mourinho departed Real Madrid was on the up, spent wisely in transfer windows and they started winning trophies. 3 Champions league in 4 years is testament to that.Messi on the other hand was revitalised by Guardiola in false nine role and tiki taka football which revolutionised the game. He plays beautifully. He too work hard. there is common theory that messi is extremely talented but talen requires hardwork and guidance to be on the show.During Guardiola era they were near invincible winning all the trophies in their path adding to the Messi demigod stature. After 2011 there was shift in power and madrid start competing ferociously with comparable team members. He has been there talisman and won two trebles. he has won above 30 trophies .Point is both of them were extremely successful when team members around them were on the same wavelength and extremely talented. its the team who wins the trophies. You can be the Man of the match but you need 11 players on the field to win the match. People need to understand the role team and coach has played in their success. When the team was successful, they were successful.

If FC Barcelona and Real Madrid C.F. interchange Cristiano Ronaldo with Lionel Messi, what would be the possible result in La Liga?

I have already answered this question, Sandeep Mohapatra's answer to What will be the current scenario if Messi have played for Real Madrid and Ronaldo for Barcelona? If Ronaldo played for Barcelona:Obscene amount of goals - Imagine the Xavi-Iniesta midfield feeding Ronaldo, with Neymar sorting out space for him. Just Imagine.Barcelona style of play- Barcelona has their own philosophy, which is a beauty in its own, but with Ronaldo’s inclusion, they would have certainly tweaked it to have a potent counter attack method.Different style/kind of players and coaches- I mean it's obvious. They would've signed players complimenting Ronaldo. Also coaches, who could handle him.Ronaldo’s style of play - This for me is one of the important hypothetical situations. Ronaldo has changed his style for both United and Madrid, so there's no doubt he would have done the same for Barcelona. I would bet he would've continued dribbling and his vision/passing would've improved.Pique would've tweeted a lot different. The current scenario would've been similar, maybe with the change of lesser league titles and more European success. If Messi for Real Madrid:Role change- Messi, would've gotten a role change quite early. Either a False 9 role or a Floating 10 role, right off the bat. He would've scored a tons of goals too, but the “headers” factor might have been apparent until Real changed their style.Madrid style of play- I think Messi would've forced a change within a year, in terms of style of play. If I remember correctly, it was Pelligrini, around the year when Ronaldo joined, he would've really liked Messi.Real would've had/signed the same players- Real already had some good strikers, so Messi would've fit like a gloveMessi’s style of play - It would've been hard changing it to something else. In his form, he is perfect.Real would've won a lot more domestic titles, but wouldn't have had much less of that European presence as they enjoy now.We fans would still be at each other necks, in different jerseys, of course

Will Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid be a big problem?

Real Madrid face problems on all fronts ahead, and a new era of nothing seems to emerge:Finance: Ronaldo was a marketing machine, in all of RM history, they never made so much money due to one single player. Now its all gone;Supporters: Selling your all-time best goal scorer and probably the best player that ever lived will definitely not go well with fans. They will scrutinize whatever replacement will come, and mount a huge pressure on him;Replacement: There is no other player on this planet to fill Ronaldo’s shoes, and whoever will come next will have to face the pressure of playing in a huge shadow. It will be a curse for any player, and most likely, there will be few contenders willing to risk their careers in this endeavor;Club perception: Right now, Real Madrid is perceived as a club that will never cherish its legends, and for good reason. Think of this: RM sold the player that scored more goals than any other in their history, the top scorer in the Champions League, and the man that put them back on the European competition map, after 12 years of idiocracy. They refused to give him a higher salary, but would offer 50 Million a year for Neymar, a guy who now is the subject of ridicule all around the world due to his acting performances;Near future style of play: Everything RM played for the past 9 years was woven to take advantage of Ronaldo’s off-the-ball run-ins, he was and is the best shadow player in the world. How are they going to play now?Barcelona rivalry: for the past 9 years there was actually no Barca-RM rivalry people were keen on watching, rather Messi-Ronaldo. It was the most viewed match in the world because of these two players. Audiences will never be in the same numbers.Florentino Perez: the president of Real Madrid wanted to prove his ego is bigger than Ronaldo’s, and apparently won the debate, after pushing Ronaldo to admit that his departure was his intention only. But Ronaldo stated many times in the past that he wanted to retire from RM, he was pissed that Perez didn’t held his side of the deal, in the salary increase, even though he was promised one. Perez is equally capable of delivering wonderful dreams and horrible nightmares. There you have it, RM will have to reconfigure everything after Ronaldo’s exit, but an era with so much European silverware will not come again for a long period of time. A high probability for another 10 or so years with nothing to brag about can be mentioned.

Why are so many so called 'true' Madridistas starting to bash Cristiano Ronaldo for going to Juventus?

These are the same people who did this:And, I am here to tell you they were all born after 2014, when we won our La Decima. Just like many Barcelona fans were born only after(during) 2011–12. We have the same lot, except they are more stupid on some parameters (Crtitizing your star player from the sidelines) and less on others (Blatantly hating a certain player) . The point is they are stupid. Ignore them.NO Madridista, ever, will(can) bash Cristiano.A true Madridista always helds Messi and other great players with such high regards because they love the game more for it’s beauty. They realize if Messi is going to lift his shirt in the Bernabue, we will toast Barcelona back with Cris leading us.Cristiano, to them, is beyond feelings and emotions. They are much older, and much much more experienced than I am. They know how club was on the fall before Crisitano came in and restored what we know as the Mighty Madrid. Internet is an absurd place, anybody behind a monitor is entitled to frame an opinion but don’t concern yourself with that. Also, remember “WHO NEEDS RONALDO?” poster at the Santiago Bernabeu. Yes, that was outrageous and ridiculous, those are the “fans” you talked about! Ignore them. Also, I feel Real Madrid is doing good, they are adapting really well but the system takes time and therefore we lost 3–0 to Sevilla. But, I can assure you one thing, these fans will cry first if we get knocked out of the tournaments, because from the little experience I have. RONALDO WILL BE MISSED.
