If Mlb Was Like Wrestling What Teams Would Be In The Main Main Event Scene

Is Indy Wrestling overrated?

Yes. Only by the IWC though.

I don't think ever wrestler from an indy promotion is automatically a great in ring worker (unlike the majority of the IWC). I don't care where someone comes from. Whether their WWE developed or indy Developed. Its irrelevant. Not all indy wrestlers or wrestlers from Japan are great by default.

But by the IWC standards... Yes. Highly HIGHLY overrated.

Most people pretend to like indy wrestlers. Just because someone on the Internet said they were good.

Is pro wrestling fake? Do they ever actually hurt each other (barring accidents)?

They are very real. The result and the spots of the match are scripted. The moves like punches and kicks are real.A professional wrestler performs signature moves such that they don't injure the other wrestler.Lets take an example of move known as Piledriver. It has been banned in WWE since 2000 and only two wrestlers in WWE are allowed to use the move(Undertaker and Kane). This photo clearly shows that the head doesnt touch the ground. If the move is not done correctly then it will result in a injury. In 1997 Owen hart botched a reverse piledriver on Stone Cold Steve Austin. This broke Austin's neck and that is the reason why he retired early. If we see blood in WWE now it has happened unintentionally since we are now in the PG era. Today's WWE product is marketed towards children not adults. Wrestlers like Ric Flair, Triple H are regular bladers. The preffered area for blading is the forehead since it bleeds profusely and heals easily.I would recommend you to watch the movie The Wrestler (2008).The Wrestler shows that while outcomes of matches may be fixed the physical tolls these men take on their body are often more extreme and long lasting than most other "respectable" sports.

Should Wrestling Fans just use the same criteria as real sports to name the greatest wrestlers +BQ?

4. Also Wrestling Fans also judge match quality and the match length. Nobody do this in boxing. Look, when Tyson beat anyone in just less than 1 minute. Everyone loved that and would prefer that than a 12 RD Boxing.

But, in wrestling, we often complain about match quality. If we saw bad matches, then it became a big problem and critic for the wrestlers. They always rate the match out of 10. This never happen in boxing. Tyson just come off 30 seconds and win and that's 10 stars in the eyes of boxing Fans, which would have been 5 stars. Also, Wrestling Fans dislike short matches with Ryback just squashing everyone.

Do you think Wrestling Fans should stop care about match quality and length?

Why don't we start a pro wrestling organization in India?

India is a huge market. WWE hasnt tried to capitalize it yet!Lets be honest here, hiring Khali wasnt really them trying to reach out to Indian viewers. We were disgusted seeing him in the ring. We were disgusted when we say him barely able to walk.TNA tried Ring Ka King in India. For the first few weeks, I watched it. Then i totally lost interest. It wasn't a lot of wrestling. It was just boring. The names of the so called Indian wrestlers, the old story lines, the pathetic excuse for a WWE rip off. It just didn't connect. Also, since we are so used to listening to English commentary now, Hindi commentary felt flat and bland and comical.I understand that there are a lot of WWE fanatics in India, but lets be honest here. How many of us know about any wrestling promotion other than WWE? How many of us have actually religiously followed wrestling from the get go? How many of us believe that we are willing to pay Rs/- 5000 or more just to go and see RAW from the back seats? Its not just a question of why anyone hasn't started a wrestling promotion in India. Its a question of  - Whether it is viable? And the answer as of now is NO.Justifications - 1. Cricket > any other sport in India.2. Kushti has been played for a long time in India, look where it stands.3. Wrestling wont be a sustainable model, because there arent any pre established stars.4. Till now, WWE (the biggest promotion in the world) hasnt tried its hands in the indian market. So we cant expect anyone else too.

Is Sylvester Stallone good at fighting based on what you see in the movies? And, more importantly, can he really box?

In Rocky V, I was cast as ‘Wild Del Weston’ for stunts, in fact if you look at the montage scene in the film for Tommy’s meteoric rise you’ll see they used my real name and gave me a nice ‘bump’ in pay for that. That being said, we were hired to train for 2–3 months before the film and so we worked in Sly’s gym set up at a storage facility in Santa Monica, CA. We were all there under the tutelage of Bobby Bass and he was a wonderful Coordinator for the guys they brought in for Tommy Morrison to ‘defeat’ during his rise to the Championship. So, as you can imagine between the mix of wrestlers, (Todd Champion), real boxers (Stan Ward), MMA fighters, (Myself, Tunderwolf) and stuntmen and other fighters you had a pretty good mix. One day, the great champion Carlos Palamino showed up during the training and I have to say, I almost wept for that man. Someone on the production, high up pulled Palamino away and tried to show him some moves. I was so embarrassed for that guy. I mean, it hurt to see a guy who never boxed one real round try to show Palamino something. It hurt, bad. Palamino was a complete gentleman and he never objected or said a word. So, seven of us were chosen to take live hits in the face for $1,000.00 per pop. Tommy would hit and we would fall down. A couple of the guys got broken jaws, one crushed cheekbone and jaw and eye socket but Morrison hit me so hard that he knocked me out cold. I woke up with NO pain, NO memory and NO recollection. That was how hard he hit. Now, your question was about Stallone. In that film, Stallone does a brilliant street fight with Morrison and even does some ground stuff which was ahead of it’s time and he looks good but he’s not a pro fighter/boxer as evidenced by the previous Dolph Lungren story and that’s the difference. A boxer can do real damage while taking real damage. I don’t think Stallone is at that level nor would he claim it. I think he is however a really strong student of the game and a well rounded defense guy, but NOT a boxer.Stuart Banes was a boxer. He’s the hardest hit I’ve ever sustained. He hit me with a right cross that was so hard that I couldn’t move my head for a week. I literally felt my brain leaking after that hit and I forgot who I was for a couple of days. I hit him with everything and I know my punches hurt but his hurt me worse. Now, that’s a boxer.
