If Most Places Prefer People With Experience Then What

How to get a job with no experience?

Everyone's got to start somewhere.

Choose the stores you'd like to work in. Go in and look around and identify different jobs and functions there. Imagine yourself working there. Go to the company's website and do background check on the company.

Write a good application letter (there are many good models on the Internet - search in Google).

On the application write your skills and try to answer the question why they should hire you. What you wrote "i want to become more responsible and mature since i think a job would do just that" is great stuff - mention that as well as "I am quick at learning new things and eager to learn".

Then after sending the application, call or drop in. If you're really interested, someone will soon hire you. I got my first job at a department store because I walked in and said that "I really want to work here".

If you don't get the first job, don't be discouraged, learn from the interview and knock on the next door. With such a great attitude like yours, you are bound to get success. All the best!

Do companies prefer skilled older workers or younger inexperienced?

Younger inexperienced for several reasons..They get paid less, are in better health not costing insurance , work harder and generally do what they are told

Your tanning bed experience(s)?

What is being in a tanning bed like? Will someone please tell me the full process?

I'm not looking for "Don't tan! It gives you skin cancer!" or anything like that because I know. I just want to know what tanning in a bed is like.

And not the stand up tanning beds! The lay down tanning beds!

Please and thank you. (:

How do you get experience working with kids?

Really it takes volunteering to get that type of experience. It's a really competitive field (working with children) and you are right that most places want experience. You have to bite the bullet and put your time in to get on the career path you really want. Try volunteering at your local YMCA, they are always looking for people.

In terms of paid employment, look for positions at day camps or summer camps. They usually require less experience. I know that my local YMCA does hire people part-time for their day-cares and those jobs usually don't "require" experience, but it is preferred. So maybe if you start off somewhere part time you can get in now, and then gain that experience you need for full time.

Good Luck!

Have nice time in India

If you were a cashier....(i just analyzed my walmart experience)?

i am in customer service for a veterinary hospital - our company has high expectations that area - as do i ! so when i go to places - i am always aware of how i'm treated.

i had this weird thought while i was in walmart the other day.

Do you ever remember what the cashier looked like when you got home - have you ever thought about it?

Does the cashier make conversation with you? or is it the
same old "hi how are you" "total is 152.32" "have a good day"
("have a good day" is optional if not rare)

If you are buying groceries - would you be annoyed if
the cashier (being a very nice/sincere person) made small
talk with you about the things you were buying?
- assuming that -
everything she would say - would be a positive thing, for example "ohh i love this ice cream- it's good" or.."my husband loves these razors" or "this is a great eye shadow - i'm going try it too"

if i worked as a cashier , i would be the girl making small
talk, does the average grocery shopper want that?

Is this expensive for a haircut? (In your opinion)?

Okay. So I want a new haircut, at SUPERCUTS for $13, or maybe higher because my hair is really long.

My dad says he knows this other place for only $7 a haircut, no matter how long. That place is Chinese, and I'm Chinese, and it's not that I'm racist or anything, I just want my hair professionally cut.

Also one more thing: I think that the Chinese barbers cut differently, or maybe only Chinese styles, is this true? (Please base this answer on your own experience.)

Have you visited other places of worship besides your own? Describe your experience.?

I'm a Muslim very firm in my beliefs but i do enjoy studying other religions so i have visited a Hindu temple, a Christian church, and a Jewish Synagogue..... all are sacred and beautiful and unique.... almost all will warmly welcome visitors...... i think it is very important to know other faiths so that our opinions are based on facts...
