If My Birthday Is March 23 1998 When Will I Be 15 And 1/2 Years Old

If I'm 14 years old, which grade should I be?

Well in my state in Missouri to go kindergarten you need to be age 5 before August 1st.And school start at Mid August. And ends in Late in late May.So that means if your born on August 1st or after you Will have to wait until the following year to start kindergarten. So if your born in early August you will start kindergarten at age 6 instead of 5.So that means there two ages per each grade so the rule is +5 And +6.Okay now let start.Elementary schoolKindergarten age 5 and age 6.1st grade +5 And +6 = age 6 and age 7.2nd grade +5 And +6 = age 7 and age 8.3rd grade +5 And +6 = age 8 and age 9.4th grade +5 And +6 = age 9 and age 10.5th grade +5 And +6 = age 10 and age 11.6th grade +5 And +6 = age 11 and age 12.Middle school7th grade +5 And +6 = age 12 and age 13.8th grade +5 And +6 = age 13 and age 14.High schoolFreshman/9th grade +5 And +6 = age 14 and age 15.Sophomore/10th grade +5 And +6 = age 15 and age 16.Junior/11th grade +5 And +6 = age 16 and age 17.Senior/12th grade +5 And +6 = age 17 and age 18.CollegeFreshman age 18 and 19Sophomore age 19 and age 20Junior age 20 and age 21Senior age 21 and age 22So there are 2 ages per each grade. So if you hear a grade ( 8th grade) just add +5 And +6 And that the age of the students. So 8th grader are 13 and 14.Also if there birthday is early August they will remain at the older end of that age range e.g 8th grade age 14. While if there birthday is Late May-July they will remain the younger end of that age range e.g 8th grade age 13. If there birthday is Mid August-Late May they are in the middle of the age range. So they will be both age range. E.g 8th grade age 13 and 14.Remember not every state has the Same cut off it varies by state to state. So 14 year old are 8th grade or 9th grade.

If you're born on February 29th, when do you legally turn one year older?

Great answer from Keith Winstein. Astronomically, a year is currently 365.25 days, minus a little. So every four years, there is a leap day, and every 100 years, not, and every 400 years, one. 2000 was a leap year, unlike 1900 or 2100, in the Gregorian calendar. However, legally, age is measured in calendar years. We don't look at the time of day of birth. If a child was born before midnight at the end of a day, they are a year old at the beginning of that date. But not the day before. They are that old for the entire year after that, until their next birthday.Legally, if someone is born on February 29, the leap day, they are not yet a year old on the next February 28. They will turn one as soon as the next day starts. I would interpret their "birthday" as being March 1 except in leap years. This is totally routine, I expect. When we go to get a drivers' license, they will look at the year and date. If  the date is not yet the birthday, we are one year less  than the difference in years. Any day after that, we are then the difference in years, old. February 28 is before February 29.February 28 is the last day that one's legal age is a year younger than the difference. So the next day is legally the "birthday."  It makes complete sense.

How often in years do calendars repeat with the same day-date combinations?

This is one thing I analysed back to 5 years ago. I found some patterns:5-year pattern: If there are two leap year between dates, the date shall fall on the same day after 5 years. For example, both 1 January 2000 and 1 January 2005 fell on Saturday. There were 2 leap years, 2000 and 2004.6-year pattern: If there is one leap year between dates, the date shall fall on the same day after 6 years. For example, both 1 January 2002 and 1 January 2008 fell on Tuesday. There was 1 leap year, 2004.11-year pattern: 5 + 6. For example, both 1 January 2003 and 1 January 2014 fell on Wednesday.17-year pattern: 5 + 6 + 6. For example, both 1 January 1997 and 1 January 2014 fell on Wednesday. Even this once became a phenomenon in my country, Indonesia, in early 2014.The 4 patterns above can be disrupted by leap days. For example, 1 January 2003 fell on Wednesday. But 2008 was a leap year so the New Year Day skipped one day from Tuesday in 2008 to Thursday in 2009. The 6-year pattern did not work, but the 11-year pattern did in 2014. Then, there are 2 more patterns which occur on a more regular basis.28-year pattern: 4 (leap year) * 7 (days in a week). For instance, 1976 had exactly the same calendar as 2004. So 20 March 1976 fell on the same day with 20 March 2004. So did 10 August 1976 and 10 August 2004 and so on. This pattern is only interrupted by the absence of leap days in certain years, exactly in years ending with “00” which are not divisible by 400, for example 1700 and 1800.400-year pattern: This pattern is not interrupted and always works. So, 1 January 1600 fell on the same day as 1 January 2000. So did 20 December 1608 and 20 December 2008 and so on.
