My girlfriend doesn't respond to my text even when she is on her phone. What does this mean?
Like some others have said, we don't know either of you so it is hard for us to tell you why she is doing something or what it means. The only one who can tell you, is her. This is my advice though based off of what you put and in general:Give her some space and don't be so overbearing. She told you that she was going to be with family, which means she is going to be spending quality time with them. She may not want to answer your message because she wants to be with them and spend time with them while she can. Checking her phone doesn't mean she is ignoring you or doesn't want to talk. It probably just means that she was checking her phone. Half the time I see my family, we hang out, but we also play games or show each other pictures. It is probably not a big deal. But the fact that you are monitoring her to see what she is doing since she hasn't responded, is. It is not okay to treat her like a criminal or like your child and monitor what she is or isn't doing. It has been 2 hours and you have no idea what she is out doing or why she may not have responded. You need to cut her some slack.I think you should back off, calm down, and stop coming up with worst case scenarios. Depending on how long she is gone, if you haven't heard from her by tomorrow, text her again. But only say something like, "hey!" or "Hey, hope you're having a good time." And nothing else. IF she keeps ignoring you and not replying, let it go until you can talk face to face. I guarantee that if she is not responding for a reason, the more messages you send will only make things worse. When she gets back, talk to her, explain why it bothered you, etc. But don't make the situation worse than it is or cause it to become a huge fight because you don't know what is going on yet.
Should I text my girlfriend during a 'break'?
She has gone on this course, met new people and for the next five weeks is away in London. She says she wants a break for this time while she 'finds herself' and enjoys this new stage. After five weeks she returns back to this area of the country and will probably never see the people on her course again. So yesterday we had this conversation about a break. We kissed goodbye and I got the train home. Today it is one of her new friends' birthday's, and I was considering texting her: "Hope my stunning lady is well, wish Nick happy birthday from me! :) xxx" Do you think this would be a bad idea during a break, or especially only one day after it began?

You should deff text her , cuz when I was away on a vacation too Florida for one week (I live in PA btw) I always wanted my bf too text mee a "Hey, How's it going? Having fun?" or "Hey, send pictures of how it is ova there" or "Hey, I miss you...." Is it ok to compliment a girl by text?
So i took out this awesome girl yesterday, we been out several times already; anyways had a great time and i was wondering if i should text her something like, "you looked really cute yesterday." Or is that cheesy/creeper status? haha suggestions please! BTW we wont be seeing each other for about 2 months because were both going out of the country for vacations, so i wont be able to tell her face 2 face or talk to her :( Also any suggestions to help her remember me thanks!
How to hint to a girl you like her over text?
Text her and ask her what she's up to this summer. Then tell her what you're up to. Engage her in conversation and get the ball rolling. Tell her you guys can stay in touch by text or on FB over the summer if she wants, if not, just have a great summer, be careful, have fun and you'll see her back at school. You've let her know that you're interested in staying in touch and now the ball is in her court. You haven't come out and professed your love, but you've made an effort and not you have to let her make hers. If she doesn't stay in touch over the summer, don't worry, it may just mean that she's busy, travelling, camp, whatever...but when you get back to school, say hi and ask her how her summer was and just see where the conversation goes.
My girlfriend is moving further away?
If you guys have been together for a long time (or maybe not long but it's already deep) then I believe you should be fine. Four hours is a long way away so really thirteen or fourteen hours isn't too big of a change. I'd suggest writing letters, sending little gifts that have meaning to only you two, and just little things to keep it personal. Try to see each other as much as possible but remember, if it's really meant to last then you'll make it. I'm in the same boat as you are, sort of. I see my boyfriend literally everyday and each time we can't see each other it pretty much kills me. Next year we're going to college about 1,000 miles apart. So I'll be doing the same thing as you.
