If Our Hight Is No Long Then

How long should My arms be compared to my height?

If you were to spread your arms out straight to your sides like a plane, then the length from fingertip to fingertip should be the same as your height. If it is more than that, then you know your arms are longer than normal, but that's not a bad thing. Usually if your arms grow longer then you should be growing taller too, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Sometimes it means nothing. Michael Phelps, the Gold medalist Olympic swimmer has a different arm span. He is 6'4", but his arm span is 6'7". Mine are shorter because I broke my collarbone and the shoulder doesn't come out as far. So, your arm span should come out to roughly 5'5", but if it's a little longer then you may not be growing but your arms are. But that may not be the case.

If your arms are longer than your height, does it mean you will get taller?

I'm 16 and 5' 8" but my arms are about an inch or two longer than that. I was wondering if that means I will grow a little more or if I just have long arms. If it helps, I got my period when I turned 13 and have not grown that much since then, maybe a couple of inches.

I have a 4" longer wingspan than my height. What does that mean?

Most people have an armspan, close to their full grown height. Within a couple inches. There is a genetic disorder called Marfan syndrome. It is rare. There are several signs that it's in your system, extra long extremities, tall and lanky body, extra long arms and feet and hands. Also some patients have scoliosis from the growth issues. You grow out of proportion. Both my son's have it. My eldest son is 6′5″ but his legs are only 30″ inseam. He has some of the internal issues from it.My youngest son is 14, 6′ tall, his arm span is 6′5″ and he wears a men's size 14 shoe in a triple A narrow foot. Pigeon chest, teeth are crowded and he has flat feet. His case is more severe than my eldest son. It's an issue to bring up with your Dr. It's usually caught in pediatric ages.

My arm span is longer than my height. Will i still grow?

I am 5'7 almost 5'8 and I heard that your arm span is the same as your height. my arm span is 5'11 but i havent grown since 8th grade and now i am graduated and in my first year of college. Is there no way that I will still grow cause of how long i didnt grow? My mom is 5'8 and my dad is 6'3 and my fraternal twin is 6'2. Whats the chances ill grow really late?

What does having arms that are 2 inches longer than your height mean when you are 15? My height is 5′10 but my arms are 6 feet.

This does not mean anything at all.The length of a person’s arms, or their reach, is correlated to a person’s height - on average. Many people have a reach that is more or less than their height. One boxer, Sonny Liston, had a reach that was a full 29cm longer than his height (Good trait for a fighter to have!)At your age you are very likely in the growth spurt that goes with puberty. This growth spurt starts with the hands and feet, then the limbs, and then the torso catches up at the end. So it is entirely to be expected that your reach will be longer than your height at this age. You are likely to still gain some height before your body reaches its adult proportions, but your growth spurt should be nearing its end if your puberty did not begin a bit later than average.

If your height is taller than average?

No it does not mean you are taller than most people. However, if you are taller than the median height, then you are certainly taller than half the people, and possibly more than half the people.

"Average height" does not mean half the people are shorter and half the people are taller. That is the definition of "median height". Half the people are taller than the "median height" and half are shorter. Median and Average (or Mean) are not the same thing.

I'm 17,female and weigh 139 ibs is that normal or should i loose weight, How much??
