If Someone Is 5 Ft 8 And Is Medium Build How Should They Weigh To Show Abs

How can I get a six pack (defined visible abs) without losing weight?

Hey!Here are some tips about your nutrition!Everyone has abdominal muscles. For some, this seems new but it is true. The question is how often you use your abdominal muscles, and the answer is every day! Just think about it, if you crawl out of bed you use core muscles helping you to sit upright. When you tie your shoes while sitting and raise your foot slightly, you use core muscles. There are countless everyday moments when your abdominal muscles are at work without you thinking about it. Alright, but where does this story go? With the above explanation, I try to make clear that everybody has abs, but they are not always visible! The simple reason is that fat and especially abdominal fat is covering the muscles. One of the most important steps is to ensure that your body fat percentage goes down so that the underlying muscles are visible. An important first step will therefore be to change your diet so that you, without even a single exercise, your percentage of body fat takes down. In short, this means that you give up fast food, fatty snacks, sugars and processed carbohydrates. Complex carbohydrates such as pasta is okay but not every day because it is the fuel that you need during your training sessions. What you wanto to eat more is greetings, fruit, nuts, healthy fats such as fish, avokado and olive oil. Divide your meals into five or six times, with each time you eat smaller portions than when you would eat three times a day. This makes your metabolism go up which means your body is constantly burning fat even when you are not doing anything. Do not eat your last meal late (ie after 8 pm) and take no TV snacks (unless it is a carrot or a bowl of low-fat cottage cheese). Drink plenty of water and avoid all kinds of sweet fruit drinks. Smoothies are a good alternative, with fresh fruit and low-fat milk for example. If you drink plenty of water it also provides a "full" feeling, making you less prone to snack on something. In short, eat more healthy foods and Avoid food with many processed calories. (More..)Read more about my personal effective workouts and tricks there!Good Luck!Martin Spencer

Dear William,

I am happy to hear you take interest in putting on some lean muscles and congratulations on your fat loss. It is a good step to not only live healthily but strong as well. It would be greatly appreciated if you had provided us with more data about your self such as your height, weight, age and your current workout routine and mostly importantly your diet.

Is 150-165 pounds overweight or too heavy for a 14 year old? ?

Talk to a doctor. There's a lot of factors, besides weight and height, that determine whether someone's overweight or not. I would say at 5'3", you might be overweight at 165lbs. You are also at the age where some girls naturally gain weight as a part of their growth. If you are concerned, definitely get advice from a doctor or nutritionist. Keep eating healthily, and try to get exercise too. 14 year olds I think are too young for diets (you could really hurt yourself) but people of all ages should eat healthy and exercise. Most importantly, if you have a healthy body image, or healthy goals, than it's all good.

Will abs/6 pack show if I am 5 feet 8 inches and 142 pounds?

I am aware that if you are fat, and you develop abs they will still be hidden under the fat and also make your stomach look even bigger. But I am not sure if they will show/not show on my body. I am not overweight but I am also not skinny. My upper body is medium from shot put but I do have flab on my stomach (not very excessive though). I am also not talking about execcive flab that hangs over the top of your pants, its just a layer of fat over my abdomin. Please tell me if a 6 pack would show on my body according to my height and weight. I am also 15 years old. Thanks

I am planning to buy Bajaj Dominar 400 ABS. My height is 5'6" and my weight is 70 kgs. Would I be able to handle it's weight and it's seat height?

I think Iam qualified to give you an answer. The Bajaj Dominar spec sheet claims that the bike weighs in at 182 KG and has an 800 mm seat height. Now Iam all of 57 years old and have been riding bikes since the early 80s . Iam 5 foot 6.5 ‘ tall with shorter than normal inseams for someone of that height and weigh around 80 kg. Presently I own both the Kawasaki Ninja 250 ( 2010 ) and the Ninja 650 ( 2013 ). The Ninja 650 has a seat height of around 805 mm and weighs around 215 Kgs .. substantially more than the Dominar , and I have no difficulty riding it even the city. I can reach the ground flat footed on one side with a slight tilt. Ability to flatfoot on a bike is reassuring in the beginning but ceases to matter after a while . I have even ridden a Versys 650 on a couple of occasions , and that one has a seat height of around 840 mm which allows me only a tippy toe connection to the ground on either side. To cut a long story short , yes .. a Dominar should not be a problem for you at all. A bike’s weight and seat height matter only at standstill and that too in the beginning when you are new to it. Learn to keep the bike as upright as possible when at rest and you will not feel the weight at all. Handling a big bike boils down to technique .. ie brains over brawn .

What is the perfect weight for a 6-foot male fitness model?

Male models come in all different sizes, with a 6-foot-tall male being average. They are lean and toned but still look healthy. Ideal body weight is anywhere from 140 to 165 lbs., but it varies, based on body mass index, height and body type. Body weight is not the only requirement. Low body fat is important as well to showcase muscularity and how well clothes fit.Determining Healthy Body WeightA 5-foot-tall man should weigh approximately 106 lbs., according to Nancy Clark, M.S., R.D. For every inch over 5 feet, add 6 lbs. A 6-foot-tall man should weigh approximately 178 lbs. Due to differences in body frame, add and subtract 10 percent for a healthy weight range of 160 to 196 lbs. The low end of this range falls into the norm for an average male model.Body FatJust because you weigh in the range for a male model does not mean that your body weight is ideal for this type of work. Body fat levels will determine how lean and muscular you appear. On average, healthy body fat for men is between 10 and 22 percent, according to the American College of Sports Medicine. The lower your body fat is, the more you are able to see muscle tone and definition -- the desired appearance of a male model. Very lean with little body fat -- but still healthy -- is 7 to 10 percent.MuscularityMuscle is comprised of up to 70 percent water. It is more dense than body fat. So if you have more than the average amount of muscle, your body weight may be slightly more than the average male model. However, you do not want to to look like a bodybuilder or a muscular athlete. Instead, it is desirable to see muscular definition and to look like you exercise regularly. Remain trim and on the slimmer side.ConsiderationsBefore losing or gaining weight, speak with an agent or photographer about your weight and appearance. You may need to add muscle or lose body fat, depending on the work you want to do. Maintain a healthy, balanced diet and exercise regularly to maintain a low body fat and good muscle tone. If you have a larger frame, naturally do not try to attain a low body weight for modeling purposes. You may compromise your health and not achieve the healthy look that companies are looking for.Read more

How much should I weight if my height is 5 feet 5 inches?

Theoretically ideal weight for a 5’ 5” male (which I am assuming you are) should be 55-65 kilograms. But weight is not a very good measure to judge your fitness in general, because if you are a bodybuilder you can weigh above 70 kgs and if you are a long distance runner you can weigh below 50 kgs and still be considered fit at your height.A better way to measure fitness is using the body fat percentage method (calculate your body fat percentage here).  Body fat percentage chart.       Description             Women                       Men            Essential Fat                10-13%                         2-5%            Athletes                        14-20%                        6-13%            Fitness                          21-24%                        14-17%            Average                        25-31%                        18-24%            Obese                            32%+                          25%+
