If The Economy Is So Bad Then Why Can

Why do libs say that the economy is bad?

We lose low-skill jobs but gain hish-skill jobs. I don't see breadlines. Gas goes up a dollar a gallon and everyone can still afford it. There are governemtn loans and grants for every damn thing in the world.

Also, all these people who say they're "poor" usually have cars, TVs, playstations, internet cable TV. All but the car are luxuries.

Look at Africa, now that's poor? How often do you hear about people starving in this country> I see Help Wanted signs everywhere I go.

If you are poor cinsider this:
1. Have you educated yourself? It took me 16 years part-time but I finally got my bachelor's. Don't blame anyone if you don't have one.
2. Do you have too many kids? That's your own fault.
3. Do you spend money unwisely. If you say you are poor, but you have cable TV, you do not know how to prioritize.
4. Are you illegal? You've doomed yourself to poverty if you have to live under thr radar.
5. Do you have a criminal record? Why the hell do you do stupid things like that?

With the economy being so bad is it a bad time to open up a new business?

Let me put it this way. If you have a skill and feel you can operate on your own and you survive in the present climate you will survive anything.
Two pieces of advice
1. Get your admin and book keeping up to date it will save you much heartbreak if you do.
2. Get a good accountant once you are earning he may well save you more than his fees in tax

Why is the Economy so bad?

Let's begin with the fact that Economics is a Social Science. Mathematics can give us certain equations that will give us the answer right? If we were talking about just math, then yes, to a certain degree. With this answer, we could go tell people what exactly to do to make everything better.

Economics is as much about people's fears as it is about how much they have in their bank accounts. This fear grows out of anxiety about the future. Perhaps, your parents jobs are in danger or that they are looking at their own retirement and realizing that they might have to wait longer to retire. I would suggest you ask this question directly to your parents... not just ask, but discuss it.

The reason why the economy is so bad is because, unlike grading tests on the curve, the economy has to absorb all of the good and bad decisions of all who participate in it. The final result of all of these decisions can not be calculated by any one mathematical equation. However economists try to factor in the variable of fear, they can never get it right. Plus, the fact that the equation of all the decisions made in one day would take longer than a day to calculate of what tomorrow will bring.

We can blame many things on why the economy is bad:

1) Cheap money is never good, due to the carelessness at which it can easily be wasted.
2) Trying to give people houses they can not afford is a risk that normal circumstances would never allow.
3) Government entitlements growth out of balance will drain the system of much needed funds and value of the dollar.
4) The energy crises of '08 added fuel to a fire of economic woes.
5) Losses due to bad investments seem to have to be absorbed by the entire system. This is what I call Economic Cache. It is sort of like our own Carbon Footprint, whatever we pollute, the system has to absorb. Whatever we lose or waste the economic system has to absorb as well.

Are tax cuts good or bad for the economy?

Is keeping more of your hard earned money good or bad for your personal economy?

How do I stop hoarding when the economy is so bad, but I'm too depressed for work?

Treat the depression.  That's a free-clinic for meds, or vigorous exercise, or lots of sunshine, or what ever you have done in the past to get past the lack of energy. Then address the hoarding.  EBay will be easier. There's an element of OCD or perhaps ADHD in hoarding, too, in that people who hoard tell different stories about the value of stuff than people who don't hoard.  It's in the stories, it's not in the keeping of stuff. The problem you are describing is, IMO, depression, not hoarding.  The hoarding is secondary.

Why do people complain that the economy is so bad and then vote for Trump who said he wouldn't increase the minimum wage?

There's a huge cultural bias against low income people in this country. The poor typically get blamed for a basket of problems they have very little to nothing to do with. Reagan was the turning point more or less, where the Republicans began bashing the poor and immigrants and unions, in order to convince the working class that these groups were the reason for all forms of economic hardship. The Democrats got painted as communists who wanted a welfare state where hard working people's money was given to those lazy evil poor people on welfare. That narrative has been used for decades in this country, and it's done a pretty good job of eliminating political support for the kind of policies that would bring people out of poverty, stimulate economic growth and reduce the deadweight losses caused by inequality. Even though this ideology is objectively false, Trump embraced it, and won enough disenchanted working class, non-college educated Rust Belt voters to ride that wave of mis -directed anger to a victory in the electoral college, even if he did lose the popular vote.Working class people tend to make decisions based on emotion, while professionals tend to prefer hard data. However, one outnumbers the other, so if you can mobilize the teeming unwashed masses, emotion wins the day.

What's so bad about communism economy-wise?

First, let me say that I am not a fan of any monetary-based economy. Therfore, I think that communism, fascism and capitalism are all equally bad. Equally, and for the same reason. They are all designed to concentrate the wealth into the hands of a few.

"Save Marla" and "chesty" must be very confused. What he/she is talking about is totalitarianism. That is what caused the beatings and such. Stalin, Hitler, Mao and Mussolini were all dictators and were feared and hated for that reason, not because of the economic system they were using.

Just because a criminal uses a gun to kill, does that mean all guns are bad? No. Same way. Just because Stalin ruined Russia, Hitler ruined Germany and Bush ruined the U.S., does that mean that fascism, communism and capitalism can never work?

Again, the reason Russia fell is political, not necessarily economic. The people wanted a say in their government.

Some historians consider the three systems to be on the same evolutionary path, a country will try one first, then the other, in succession. Others argue that they are incompatable. Still others recognize that all monetary-based economies have aspects of each of the three systems in them. No national economy in existence today is purely fascist, capitalist or communist. None.

So compared to the other systems, what is wrong with communism?
Absolutely nothing.

Compared to a resource-based economy, what is wrong with communism, fascism and capitalism?
Everything.
