What would you ask if you had just one question?
In one of my history class, my lecturer asked this question which I do not have an answer to. In fact, no one did! Here it goes -What exactly unites us? (Only Indians)Also, please do not answer 'cricket'.This question made me wonder so much! As a history student, I wondered, right from the ancient India, how did we unite?We joined hands together for the freedom struggle, but what really binds us together? Why are we like this? Why are we still not progressing? Why women are worshipped in temples, yet they are exploited openly in the public. Why do we become emotional and personal about our religious views and how it effects our economy at large?Credits - Roomam mam! I love your classes mam!

What is the meaning of this question 'If I asked you out, would your answer be the same as your answer to this question?'?
It is not the meaning that is important, it is the motive behind it.This person wants you to go out with him/her.Think of the possible answers of the question:If you say yes, it means that your answer to both the questions will be yes(because question asks if your answer is same to both questions), which implies that yes ,you will go out with him/her.If you say no, it means that your answer to both the questions will not be the same, which implies that your answer to the proposal (i.e. to go out with the guy) will not be the same as your answer to the question which you answered as no; so you will say yes to the proposal.So, both ways, you say yes.But there is a tiny little loop hole which I would exploit if someone asked me that question:If you say no to the question asked, it does not necessarily mean that you will say yes( the exact opposite of no) to the proposal. It just means that you will not say no to the proposal(i.e. your answer will not be the same to both the questions). It could be: maybe /I don't have time for this etc.
