What is the meaning of your life?

For meLIFE stands for - Live It with Full Enthusiasm.Life is actually the response to the situations we find ourselves in.We have both sweet and bitter experiences .when we are happy we rejoice and feel relax and satisfied but when the other part comes (sadness, problems or hurdles) to us we feel agitated or fed up, we forgot the beauty (family, friends, opportunities ,nature) with which god has blessed us.Count your blessings. With each worst phase you go through in life you always find yourself much stronger than before. This is the way life teaches us to live and our responses decide whether we will become better or worst .Everyone is going through something . Pray for everybody’s betterment , try to help people as much as you can..you will soon realize that your inner peace is increasing.I have listened from people specially youngsters that “Zindagi jhaand hai” and blah blah ..! I need help with narcotic detox.?

As I'm not a doctor be careful with this, I surfed net till obtained those informations I wish it will be useful;

Other opiate antagonists go by the name of
"Nalpamine" and
"Naloxone",
but "Naltrexone" is the most likely to be encountered on the street.

The combined use of "Clonidine" and "Naltrexone" as a rapid, safe, and effective treatment of abrupt withdrawal from methadone.

[Naltrexone-induced dysphoria in former opiod addicts.]

Dosage:
This is the dosage taken by the people I studied. 50 mg tablets seems to be the most common dosage of "Naltrexone" prescribed for maintenance purposes. I don't know whether a smaller dose would be sufficient. I also don't know about using other opiate antagonists in pill or injectable form.

The process of drug detox requires the patient to be closely monitored by keeping vital signs, giving support and administering medications if needed.

There are numerous withdrawal symptoms or side effects when a patient stops or dramatically reduces drugs after heavy or prolonged use. Those side effects include: sweating,
shaking,
headaches,
drug cravings,
nausea,
vomiting,
abdominal cramps,
diarrhea,
sleeplessness,
confusion,
agitation,
depression,
anxiety,
and other behavioral changes.

There are two commonly used drugs to enable the patient to feel relief from these symptoms. First,
"Klonepin", which reduces physical symptoms,
&"Buprenophex", which is an anticonvulsant.

These drugs must also be monitored as cessation produces withdrawal symptoms. Generally, the time period for drug detox is three to seven days under medically monitored supervision.

Several factors are key to successful detoxification:
1. Acknowledge that there is a problem and decide to do something about it.
2. Get rid of all the drugs and paraphernalia.
3. Drop friends and associates that are tied to our drug problem.
4. Seek and accept spousal support, or support from friends, or relatives.
5. Prepare for symptoms with the support of a professional.
6. If tranquilizer drugs are needed for a few days or longer, they must be handled sensitively, as one addiction can easily replace another.

God bless

What is the drug narcotics?

Narcotics are not drugs you sniff.....they are prescribed by a doctor to treat different things....mostly pain meds. They fall into a category that doctors/pharmacists call narcotics as you need a prescription for them....they are more potent than over the counter drugs.

Life expectancy is increasing in Massachusetts with near universal health care and decreasing in the rest of the nation. Isn't this a mini-experiment?

No it’s not. I know what you’re getting at. But life expectancy has precious little to do with universal healthcare. It’s got a lot more to do with personal lifestyle choices.Take Hispanics in America, for instance. More than one in five of them are uninsured[1]. If not having health insurance was damaging to life expectancy, their life expectancy should be in the gutter. But it’s not. American Hispanics have a life expectancy of 83.3 years[2]. That’s higher than the United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, Australia, Canada, Sweden, Norway and literally almost any other developed country in the world. Also, Asian-Americans have a life expectancy of over 87 years but 7% of them are uninsured. Why do Hispanics live so long despite their relative lack of health insurance and the wider socio-economic problems they face? Hear the BBC tell it:[3]Hispanics also have lower smoking rates, better diet and better general health - at least in the first few years after immigrating into the US.Some analysts also believe that family ties amongst Latinos are stronger and help build a sense of community, contributing to a better health - especially in relation to mental health. That’s the key to long life- strong family ties and a healthy personal lifestyle- not necessarily access to health insurance. You can have the best health insurance but if you smoke and drink too much, you will die young. Also, note that the ACA has cut the number of uninsured Americans by more than 50%.But that didn’t bring any improvements to Americans’ life expectancy. In 2010, US life expectancy was 78.7 years[4]. Last year, it was 78.6 years[5]. More health insurance did not make Americans live longer. If you want to people to live longer, focus on helping them improve their personal lifestyle choices and the quality of their relationships. That’ll do a lot more good than universal healthcare.Footnotes[1] Uninsured percentage by ethnicity U.S. 2010-2017 | Statistic[2] Geographies of Opportunity[3] Why Latinos outlive their US peers[4] Life Expectancy at Birth by Race and Sex, 1930–2010[5] Why life expectancy in America is down again

What are the most important things you have lost in your life by being addicted to gambling?

I like gambling irrespective of whether I lose or win. Gambling is a big risk. And that's what attracts people to it. The stakes are high. It just depends on what are you risking. Where do you put your money on. There are calculated risks and then there are risks just for the heck of it.

How long do the psychological effects of narcotics last?

It depends on what narcotic you are talking about. Some of them hamper psychological functioning for the rest of a person's life. Many cause maturation to stop or slow so dramatically, that when the person is off the drug, they are still not capable of thought patterns above the age when they began using. Some drugs 'addiction' is purely psychological...hallucinogenics for example. There is no proof that they are physically addictive. And they mess with the cells in the brain, causing mutations and possible permenant damage.
Have you ever wondered why people say those who use drugs are stupid? It is because drugs mess with brain growth, problem solving techniques, and basically all functions of the brain. It, your brain, does what it can to cope with the influx of foreign chemicals and lots of manadory growth gets put off, sometimes forever.
Others are not so dramatic and the psychological effects don't last much longer than the last dose. Many low-level narcotics, often the legal versions (prescriptions meds), take some time, four to six weeks, before the brain recovers. It all depends on how often the drug was used, in what quantity, and for what duration. The longer, the more frequent, and the larger the dose, the more likely the psychological effects will last for greater lengths of time.

What is one thing you will never do in your life?

I already answered a similar question here:Prashant Motwani's answer to What are 10 things you've never done? However since Priyam Vora took the effort in requesting me an answer . I will point out that “one thing that I will never do.”I think what I will never do is “To become Complacent “ and “Stop Trying “I believe we get complacent very easily. You become complacent when you open your firmYou become complacent after getting a high pay jobYou become complacent after getting High CPIYou even become complacent after getting a girlfriend and feel you don't need to exercise anymore ( Not generalizing it )There is always more that you can achieve. If you ask me what I am doing for “Not being complacent “ in my life, isI work on my PhDI am currently collaborating with 2 big professors, one from university of Sheffield, UK and another from Deakin university, Australia.I have applied for young Scientist Award 2018I have submitted my writings for Young Excellence Award 2017I write 2 answers (on Average) daily on Quora.I have submitted two of my research papers for publication in conference proceedings.I am even nowadays in conversation with a beautiful girl, hoping to be able to propose her some day. ( Trust me ; maintaining this with ur work is itself an Herculean task).“If your “dream” gives a purpose to your life, why quit? If you don't have a dream to pursue, now is the time to sit down and write about something you want to achieve.Live in your own built world of Work and EnjoymentAppreciate urself when the plan you made succeed. Do not dwell, when it failed, instead start putting energy on another one.Live your life in such a way that you like yourself; it's imperative to maintain self satisfaction”.Footnote: Prashant Motwani's answer to Can anyone motivate me to stop being complacent and start taking actions?—GoD Bless You and Love You All.Ps: to make the reader smile I have added the meme of PhdMamuSircheeku in the end . It has nothing to do with the answer
