The coffin may suggest death if seen in dreams. However, "death" means change, endings, completions and new beginnings. A coffin may also suggest a deep desire for rest or escape as well. However, if a dream involving a coffin appears as a passage of linear time exactly as it would occur in real life, this could well be a prophetic one. And at some point in the dream, whomever is in that coffin should be visible and known. It may not be wise to avoid the portent that such a dream offers.
