If You Are Completely Unsatisfied With Your Phone Does The Company Have To Give You A New One

Can you transfer a whole life insurance policy to another company?

I am unhappy with both the performance and service on a whole life insurance policy that I've had for about 11 years. Do I have any options? I'd never get the same rates now. I was told when sold the policy that dividends could pay the premium after 20 years...doesn't look like that is the case. Also, the cash value is LESS than the actual money i have put into it. Is this normal or do I have a crappy policy?

Can I be sued by my employer if they paid my relocation expenses and 2 months later I leave the company?

2 months ago my job was downsized so I transfered within the company and they paid my moving expenses, now I am unsatisfied with my new position and have found another job outside of the company. I never signed a contract, can I now be sued for those expenses?

I bought a mobile on Flipkart. Now I am unsatisfied with the phone. Can I return it and get refund?

Lol Rahul Kumar kind of nailed it. Memories of the struggle that I had to go through while trying to get my laptop refunded or replaced is still fresh in my mind. It was easily the worst online shopping experience I've ever had. They just weren't willing to even replace the product, let alone refund it. There were some functionality issues with the product, and I also didn't like it for what I expected.TLDR, however, I later found through Dell customer care that I was also not given the 3-year warranty as promised, but just the standard 1-year warranty. I wouldn't ever know about it had I not encountered any issues with the laptop and contacted Dell customer care to resolve them (as Flipkart customer care wasn't helpful at all).I was told by Dell customer care that there's no such thing as a 3-year warranty, though Flipkart was openly claiming it as one of the special offers.I brought this up to Flipkart, and told them that I don't want to get my product replaced anymore (it was already about a couple months since I started using it) - but just want the 3-year warranty as promised. They said they will get back to me soon, and they did, but said that they would offer a refund. This was because they couldn't offer the promised warranty, though it was one of their “special offers”.I've almost always had some kind of issues with pretty much everything I've purchased from Flipkart - especially laptop and smartphone.I now personally feel that buying a big-ticket product such as a laptop or a smartphone from Flipkart is a gamble at best. Now, if you couldn't already tell from my experience, I think it's highly unlikely that they will allow you to return the product and get a refund. This is especially if you just “didn't like it,” for which they probably do nothing. If there are any issues with it they might replace it, but refund, I don't think there's any chance for that.

Would you leave your job if you were passed over for promotions twice?

If you're unhappy, you should move on. You have no guarantee you'll live long enough to retire, and then you will have spent more unhappy years. What you have already contributed to your retirement should still be available to you when you reach retirement age. And it's clear that you'll be waiting a long time before your promotion in that job.

What I'd do, is go out and see if you can get any other offers. Don't tell your boss or co workers. If you get a good one, go to your boss and tell him that you've gotten this offer, and you would like to stay if he gave you a similar or better promotion and made it more attractive for you to stay. It's amazing what a boss will do if he thinks someone else wants you. But be sure it's a real offer, and be ready to take it, because he may say, sorry, I can't match it, so go ahead and take the job.

If you don't get any better offers, well, then you've learned something, no harm done. You'll have to get some outside interests and not make your job your life, while you work out your time til retirement.

Insurance Covered Eye Exam, unhappy with Doctor...?

There is nothing wrong with the Eyemed insurance itself. I just did not like the doctor on a personal level, he made me uncomfortable, wanted to switch my contacts, provided me with trials, I don't like them and have told him that numerous times and his response is "you'll get used to them" he wants to to come back in for an appointment, but doesn't have any availability for 2 weeks that weeks, and he won't give me anymore trial contacts or order me any until I go back in. I'm just not happy with him at all, and want to go elsewhere.

Cingular-AT&T Vs. Alltel-Verizon?

Alltel provides the best rural coverage. They are Verizon's largest roaming partner. Verizon relies on Alltel and Alltel relies on Verizon. Also, it will be a few years before Verizon merges the coverage and the customers over to the Verizon network. Alltel provides service where others cannot. They provide it virtually everywhere.

Pros of Alltel:
*Now part of the Nation's Most Reliable Wireless Network
*Great National Coverage
*Fair customer service
*Excellent pricing

Cons of Alltel:
*Poor international roaming
*More expensive phones
*Alltel customers will be required to get a new Verizon phone and plan when merged over

I am sure you will enjoy the new Alltel, Now Verizon. AT&T talks the talk but definitely can't walk the walk. Fewest dropped calls according to an independent research company. Who is this research company? Well, all I know is AT&T got sued for claiming this because where they tested (Reno, Nevada) Sprint PCS has JD Powers test and found that Sprint had the fewest dropped calls. Sprint sued AT&T and now they advertise "Best Coverage". Read the fine print at the bottom: Best Coverage based on global coverage. This means AT&T has excellent coverage everywhere besides the USA basically.

Enjoy Alltel.

I'm miserable at my job.... how can I get fired??

It's better to leave on good terms, than to get fired. What kind of job do you have? Sometimes making things work is a good thing. If I were you I'd take a mini vacation if you can afford one. I've read that people who take a vacation are more happy at work, and get less stressed. While you have free time be looking for another job, and do other interviews and then give your notice and let the new place know when you can work.
