If You Could Change One Thing

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?

For there to be equality for everyone and everything; between sexes, race, age and social background.

The Saudi woman sentenced to be whipped 10 times for driving while the maximum traffic violation is merely faced with fines is just demeaning the female sex in the society once again which is just sad, and if there were equality to begin with, the whole history would change - the slavery trade, England and their bloody Chain of Being...

Equality is something that we will never learn.

I dont mean that people should all just be same, I mean that we should have equality no matter who we are, for our individuality and uniqueness.

I don't mean to be a sociopathic person or anything by the way.

IF THAT CAN"T HAPPEN,

then i would change the RISING COST PRICE OF PETROL ON THIS FREAKING FINITE PLANET.

If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?

It's very difficult for me to regret my own mistakes because I have learned from them but there is one in particular regret that no matter what anybody tries to tell me to make things better, I simply can't come to terms with. When I was 5 years old I was sexually abused my cousin. It went on for a while until he moved to another state. Years went by and I never said a word to anybody about it until I was 17 years old.Fast forward I graduated high school and joined the military right away. I rarely visited home but one of the days I did, my sister told me to not mention anything to anybody but that when I was on deployment my younger brother had came forward with some terrible news.My sister said that my brother told my mom that my cousin had sexually abused him. Yes, the same cousin who abused me.I asked her when it had happened and he said it was right before my cousin left to live at another state. At that moment, my heart broke. If only I had said something to someone about the sexual abuse that was being done to me my brother wouldn't have suffered. My brother suffered a lot but we didn't know what was wrong. He never said a word to anybody about anything. Now we know why and if I would have said something, he wouldn't have been abused.I've learned to accept that it wasn't my fault but it's still something that when I think about it, it breaks me down.

If you could change one thing in the world, what would you change for the happiness and harmony of all the living beings and the universe?

A2AI would like to change Sick mindset of people.Anything good or bad starts from mind. When your mind starts to control you, your mindset becomes sick. This world is suffering because of such kind of people. Whatever bad is happening in this world like terrorism, wars, jealousy, murders, rapes etc. are result of sick mentality. These people are reason behind of fear, insecurity, pain etc. They spread fear and pain to save themselves, their religion, their country or their existance. When their mentality changes, then world will become a happiest place in the universe.

If you can change one thing about your family, what would it be and why?

To me my mom is everything. It doesn't mean that I'm very much dependent on her but that she means everything to me and the only family that I have! I wish I could give her all the happiness and peace she deserves!Honestly, I wish I could bring back my father who passed away when I was a year old. I've heard my grandma saying that my father was a gem of a person and that he loved my mom so much (though she was his second wife; his first wife died of renal failure and didn't have any children). My mom was just 26 when my father met with an accident and she didn't even think of marrying anyone else. Though she could have, she chose not to. Everything she did was for my happiness and well-being. She was even at the verge of committing suicide at some point but chose to fight the odds and decided to live for her daughter. She is someone who lost her own father at a very young age. She didn't want me to go through all that she'd been through. I wish my mom to have a regular family just like everyone else and I wish I could make her live her life for herself too (though I tried and failed). I call her SHERO (She + hero) and she deserves every bit of it. It's absolutely not about wealth or money that could have changed our lives, coz she is very content with what she has. It's about the love and peace that matters. Above all, I believe every living being deserves happiness and peace no matter what.

If you could change one thing about yourself?

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

Also the same for your bf/gf, if you could change one thing about that person what would it be?

If you could change one thing about your family, what would you change? Why?

I want a big brother. So he could've been there to protect me when I needed it.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

to stop procrastinating

If you could change one thing about the military what would you change?

Deincentivize waste. This is less a question of ‘eliminating’ waste as changing the inherent systems we’ve built which encourage it.Remove the system which automatically sets unit budgets based on their previous years’ expenditures. Every August, units waste tens if not hundreds of thousands of their unspent budget- sometimes on critical supplies, sometimes on nice-to-haves- just because if they don’t spend it, their budget will shrink.Punish shipyards and suppliers for not delivering on their contracts as promised. In the yards, nothing was more frustrating than finding job after job not completed to spec, delivered late (when the Navy is paying for the ship’s drydocking by the day), and poorly coordinated. Bonuses were tied into contract completion deadlines, but they were not enforced. This is basic contract-writing 101, and I won’t speculate on why they get away with it.Designate income earned from government contracts and on military bases free from state income taxes. Require that all money for base building infrastructure and contracting be handled at the federal level or granted to a private corporation. Remove Congress from the decision for base closure (they can still be involved in reassignment). State-level meddling in acquisitions almost requires billions in waste as equipment is assembled (inefficiently) across multiple states and the DOD is denied the ability to close bases and equipment contracts at the Congressional level because those contracts pull money and jobs into the state, and this excessive pork-barreling goes back to the days of our first Naval vessels.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be, and why would it make you better?

If I could change something about me personally I would want to eliminate loving so strongly. I fall in love and love hard. I get my feelings hurt very easily, not only by significant others but by family, friends and anyone I allowed myself to love. I love with all my heart and I think the best of everyone so when they do hurt me it feels like actual pain in my chest. I even get sick and vomit. I would like to be like those people that aren't really effected by other people. Never getting upset over friends, family, and other people they love actions that should effect them.
