If You Could Fire Someone From The Ws Who Would It Be

Can you put water on a person who is on fire?

Yes, but first try “Stop, Drop & Roll and tell them to cover their face with their hands to protect their eyes and airway). If they’re running (might be in a blind panic or trying to get to water), shove them to the ground (fire rises so their face needs to be below the flames/smoke) and roll them around to smother the flames, toss a cotton or wool shirt or blanket on them and (gently) step on it or pat it to smother the flames, grab a fire extinguisher if it’s close, etc. Avoid synthetic (usually shiny) fabrics which will melt onto the skin and cause huge problems and a lot more pain during treatment. If the person was splashed with a flammable liquid like gasoline, you will need more water and it will probably spread the fire but will still help to put out the flames from them - it has to a large amount of water in that case to dilute the liquid. Continue putting water on the burn until the skin is cool (tissue will continue to be damaged until the heat is removed). The water will most likely cause an infection but they will be heavily treated with antibiotics anyway, and that is better than having more extensive burns.

What if someone fails in TCS ILP?

I am yet to join my ILP but the following information has been passed forward from my friends who are undergoing their ILP at various locations in the country and the rules are pretty much the same everywhere. In the initial week, you will be required to appear for two exams, namely IRA 1 and IRA 2. IRA stands for Initial Readiness Assessment and tests the readiness of the candidate during their time of joining. If you clear IRA 1, you will proceed to IRA 2. In case you don’t, you will again be given a couple of more chances to clear the exam in most cases. Even if you fail then, you might be rescheduled to later batches.During the ILP training also, you are required to appear for many exams. If you fail in any one of them, you will be put into remedial classes. This requires a lit bit extra effort from your end but won’t consume extra office hours. In case you fail there too, you will be put in LAPS. Now, LAPS usually extends your stay at ILP by 10 days on an average where you are required to learn the course very well and clear the exam again.Cheating in exams is handled strictly and will lead to adverse consequences. It is safer to fail in these exams than cheat.

In "you can't fire me, because I quit!" situations, is it better for the employee to get fired, or quit?

Quitting because it is on your terms and your control. You will have “Resigned” on your record versus “Terminated”.By quitting, you can tell a prospective employer you left for “personal reasons” (if no job lined up) or “left for a new job (if job lined up) and leave it at that. Now, before deciding to quit; demand that you do not want to be fired, you want to be laid off! Some employers make the experience of trying to fire you so miserable in hopes you quit on your own so you won’t get a severance. In this type of situation, it’s a decent employee with a difficult manager. Surprisingly, even in “at-will” states, a manager cannot fire an employee right away if they are well past their probationary period. “I wanted to fire you, but HR said I couldn’t!” (This is true, I had a manager who said that)The manager has to actually try to find reasons to fire you! If you’re a good employee this process of trying to fire you will make the manager more pissed off because there’s really no reasons to fire you but the manager still wants to get rid of you.Instead of wasting everyone’s time and more paperwork trying to find new reasons to write you up, your productivity dropping, and you dragging the process by appealing each warning, tell them you don’t want to be fired, demand to be laid off! Best case scenario is you walk out with your severance, a respectable reason for leaving, “Position Eliminated” and leave the employer pronto. If your manager and HR won’t compromise to laying you off and rather keep writing you up and treating you poorly, keep appealing each warning you get to buy time with interviews outside your company. Once you get an offer, email your resignation effective immediately, leave your badge at your desk and WALK OUT! From the way they treating you, you don’t owe them two weeks notice!

I gave my coworker a hug at work and she ws fine with it and then i got suspened the next day I came into work?

No i never had an erection i have a fiance and i love her so much. But my managers have had problems with me for not staying upfront to bag, but I can't bag up front because my coworkers that are new are in high school and they think they know it all and they don't listen to nobody. I wanted to transfer to the other location the day they suspended me.

Is it legal to own and drive a fire truck to and from work?

Assuming it was properly licensed and operated, feel free to waste huge amounts of fuel getting to work.

Safety: What should you do if your clothing catches fire?

If clothes catch fire they can spread very quickly, engulfing the victim in flames. Remember to STOP, DROP & ROLL.1. Stop The fire victim must stop still. Ceasing any movement which may fan the flames or hamper those attempting to put the fire out.2. DropThe fire victim must drop to the ground, lying down if possible, covering their face with their hands to avoid facial injury.3. RollThe fire victim must roll on the ground in an effort to extinguish the fire by depriving it of oxygen. If the victim is on a rug or one is nearby, they can roll the rug around themselves to further extinguish the flame. The effectiveness of stop, drop and roll may be further enhanced by combining it with other firefighting techniques, including the use of a fire extinguisher or dousing with water. The threat of injury is present until the temperature of the skin falls below a critical temperature. Rolling is designed to suppress the flames on the victims clothing and cooling should be done to prevent burns from worsening after initial suppression. Because of the importance of prompt cooling to reduce burn damage, one can add the fourth component and say,Stop, Drop, Roll & CoolThis is an effective technique for extinguishing flames on clothing and hair, but it also has an important psychological component. The three simple steps are easy to remember and practice, and provide fire victims with a clear routine they can use should they catch fire. This helps prevent panicking, especially in children, and makes it easier for firefighters or other nearby people to help extinguish the fire.
