If You Could Improve The Currnet Im Clients

Will a new modem improve my internet speed?

It could, if you've had the same modem for a long time, it could. But many times it's not an issue with your modem, most of the time it's an issue with the line (have your Tech Support guy at AT&T test the line and see if there are problems with it). Also, it could be that your phone cord it's too long (it should be about 15ft long) or maybe the modem is near by a wireless telephone base or it's on a carpet... sounds silly but I saw a couple of problems solved by those stupid things hahaha.. But I also saw several problems solved with a brand new modem. (Verizon had the SpeedStream a long, long time ago, like 5yrs ago or so...)
So might want to check those details... and also, turned off your modem for 5 minutes and turn it back on... One other thing, spyware or some other software that might be using your internet connection without you knowing.

What is your opinion on a therapist and a client falling in love with each other?

It is actually pretty common for a client to develop feelings for a therapist, just for the reasons you described. And occasionally, a therapist will develop feelings for a client.

Depending on the state, sex or a relationship between therapist and a current client is illegal. It is also against the code of ethics. The can be exploitative to the client. Think about it. While most therapists like to maintain an equal relationship, the client may come to see the therapist as a person of authority, just because of the role they play. In a relationship, a therapist could easily abuse that role.

It is also unethical to have a sexual relationship for a therapist to have a sexual relationship with a client's family member or friend, or for a therapist to provide therapy to a prior sexual partner.

However, (while not encouraged or even condoned by a lot of professionals), a therapist can have a relationship with a former client, provided two years have passed AND the client is not impaired and won't be exploited or hurt by the relationship.

Should I have sex with my client?

I'm a handyman. I have a job coming up to repair a woman's shower. The way I bill I do a flat rate of $85 for up to 4 hours work. If it takes half an hour, I still get $85. That's the only way I can justify scheduling service calls and still pay my bills.

The shower repair is only going to take a few minutes really, plus my travel time, so (via e-mail) I asked her if there was anything else I could take care of. She asked me if I give good massages and sent me a picture of herself. She is a TEN! Then she said it would "be really handy to have me around for the other three hours". I am pretty sure I wont be using my hands to build anything for those three hours.

On any given day I would take her over a table for three hours or more. This woman is stunningly beautiful, and I have never had sex with a ten. Thing is, I've been in a committed relationship for over 8 months. We live together and everything. She is very sweet, loving, nurturing and has a good heart. She puts up with a lot of my nonsense, sees through my insecurities, and sees the goodness in me. Unfortunately, she is not exactly a ten. She has some health and hygiene issues that sometimes put me off (bad breath, doesn't shower regularly, farts like crazy!) She also tends to be very frumpy when we go out and she refuses to socialize with my friends. No relationship is perfect, but lately I have thought about ending it due to the hygiene and her refusal to have fun when we go out.

So, I am trying to figure out if I should have the fling just to get it out of my system, and keep the relationship going to see if things improve. Or if I should be the "good guy" fix the shower head, and say good day.

By the way, I am not a Christian. Nor do I believe that monogamy for the sake of monogamy is healthy, nor how humans are wired. So arguments against cheating along those lines will hold no sway. If I was not living with this woman I would jump into bed with my client in a heartbeat. I live in reality, and I want practical answers. Dan Savage are you out there?

I want to open my own Performing Arts School, is it a good time to do this in the current market?

Before you dance your way into your community's heart, there are two significant cross-currents in this economy that are worth paying attention to:

First, of course, is that consumers are worried about their careers and aren't in the mood to commit to major new spending. We'll know a lot more in the coming months as the holiday spending season shapes up, but it looks like a slow-growth Christmas and 2010. That means you would be competing for a share of a non-growing pie. If you chose to do this, you would need to build a serious business plan that would include losing money for at least 18 months to 2 years.

The flip-side is equally fascinating, though. Recessions are times when people fold back to those who matter most to them, meaning their family and friends. And they look for ways to improve the quality of life for those people (as well as themselves). So, if you could tap into the market for self-improvement and family growth, you might have something.

One other point: Retail space hasn't been this cheap in years. If you were to negotiate hard for a space, you could likely get a great location.

As you build your business plan, you will need to take a cold, hard look at whether the school would be perceived as a must-have or a nice-to-have. If it's the latter, you'd better make sure you have plenty of pre-paid clients before you open your doors.
