If You Had A Whale And The Whale Was Actually A Fish How Many Dogs Would You Have

What's the stupidest fish, other than whales and dolphins?

No fish are intelligent. They all end up as somebodies' dinner.

Why are whales mammals?

Generally speaking, all mammals are endothermic vertebrates (that is, they are able to maintain a internal temperature higher than their enviroment) that have mammary glands that are functional in females to lactate their offspring, and besides this they have a neocortex in the brain and three middle earbones. So, look at this pic:A whale lactating her young.that said, I assure you that they also have have a neocortex, three middle earbones, and their fetuses have hair that is lost during the gestation. So, what any other type od animal could they be?.Mindblowing fact: as mammary glands don't fossilize (soft tissues are very hard to preserve), many extinct species classified as mammals were recognized by their midle earbones.

If whale evolved from mammal, why they similar to fish?

The marine mammals have been selected by evolution to move efficiently in the water, just as the fish have been. Actually, there are other animals that are not mammals or fish that look similar. Look at this slug:Meet Phylliroe: the sea slug that looks and swims like a fishIt would appear that a fish like shape is so efficient in the ocean that many things living in the ocean will evolve to be fish shaped over time.Although we do not see whales with legs, we can see bones in their skeletons that are related to the leg bones of their land ancestors:The hind legs of whales

Orange whales?

The orange whale is my favorite type of whale. They are extremely fat. They eat anything they can get their greasy flippers on, i.e, their mates and children. When they eat they tend to consume 1000x what the normal large whale eats. And I must say the orange whale is probably the most harmless whale, but if it gets hungry that's an other story.

PS if you have any missing cats dogs children donuts or fish, don't be surprised if they show up in an orange whales poo.

Can you give a dog goldfish crackers?

Yes. I give them to my dog all the time. She loves them! both my dogs love them actually but I've given them to my older dog since she was a puppy, six years ago.

Do scientists believe that prehistoric dogs evolved into whales? If not, then what mammal do they think did?

The problem you have encountered is the imprecise use of language. Many sites, books, and even published papers by paleontologists have used the phrase:"whales first evolved from wolf-like (or dog-like) mammals."They do not mean that the whales evolved from actual wolves or dogs--or even ancient relatives of wolves or dogs. In an effort to generate a useful mental picture, they have brought up the image of an animal of approximately the same size and shape as a modern animal you would recognize. Unfortunately, what most of us do is link the common image or concept of the modern wolf/dog in our minds with a whale relative that had much more in common with cows, deer, or even the hippopotamus than an animal related to dogs.I had to spend much effort in convincing my own students that "whales did not come from wolves" after they watched a PBS video about whale evolution. PBS usually has really good science in their productions, but in this case, they fell into the same trap as other science sources and succeeded in confusing my students and creating a misconception that took a long time to root out and overcome.Because of our imprecise use of language and terms, it is very easy to confuse people who are unfamiliar with the field of study.
