If You Have A Vizio Smart Tv And You Sync A Youtube App From Your Phone

How can I download Spotify to my Vizio Smart TV?

The various other answers have leaned toward a possible app on your tv, which may work, but what I’d recommend is that you search for either an app that can play over your home theater system, if you have one - or a Bluetooth connection from your phone to a soundbar or similar. If you don’t have a soundbar, the Sonos Playbar or Beam are really fantastic, and the Sonos app allows for connections to multiple streaming services and the media already on your phone in addition to your desktop iTunes library.

There should be a USB port on the side of your TV. You need to make sure your phone is set to USB Mass Storage Mode and on your TV (needs to be a Smart TV) you navigate to Videos. You will then see a list of external devices connected (either on network or whatever is connected to your USB port), just tap on your phone. On my Vizio TV it shows three options, Videos-Music-Movies and I just click a file so it plays. Good luck!

How do I pair my Bluetooth hearing aid to my Vizio smart TV?

First, make sure your TV has Bluetooth capability. If it does, you'll go to your settings and find Bluetooth (it may be found in your sound section…not sure because my Smart TV doesn' have Bluetooth). If your TV doesn't (like mine) you can get a sound bar, hook it up with audio cables, and then sync your hearing aid to the sound bar via bluetooth. I have a Vizio sound bar that I paid around $80. It sounds good for the money. I've streamed music from my phone to the sound bar. The difference; however, is I was sending to the speaker and you'll be receiving from the speaker. Not sure if it will work that way, but might be worth a shot. Now if your sharing the TV with others, these will not work because the TV sound will only be in you hearing aid. For that, I found this solution- Stream the sound from the TV to your hearing aids | Oticon

How can I look up whether my TV supports Miracast?

You can check out if your TV is wi-fi ready (thereofre able to sync with Miracast) from the list in the link below:Product Finder Results | Wi-Fi AllianceI found this from a CNN post (Sept 2013), I have copied the relevant info but see below:Miracast: Everything to know about mirroring AndroidHow to use MiracastTo make use of Miracast, you'll need two things: a Miracast-compatible Android device, and a Miracast TV or dongle.Setting up wireless mirroring on the Nexus 7.Screenshot by Sharon Vaknin/CNETThe Android part is easy. If your device runs Android 4.2 or later, you most likely have Miracast, also known as the "Wireless display" feature. Now you'll need to set up your Miracast receiver. Though the tech is relatively new, a number of TV manufacturers like Sony, LG, and Panasonic, are integrating Miracast into their televisions. But, unless you purchased a TV in the last year, it's probably not Miracast-ready. Instead, you'll need a dongle.Head to Amazon and you'll see a number of Miracast dongles. Even Best Buy creates one under its house brand, Rocketfish. Most of these dongles land in the $40-$60 range, and are really only designed to do one thing: mirror your Android device. At CNET, we tested Netgear's Push2TV dongle, which was mostly reliable, save for a few laggy moments and stuttering playback. Overall, though, it did the job. You can view a complete list of Miracast-ready TVs, dongles, and set-top boxeshere. With your Miracast dongle connected, switch your TV to its input. Then, grab your Android device, and go to Settings > Display > Wireless display. (As usual, this might vary a bit depending on your device.)Turn the Wireless display feature on, and wait a moment while the device looks for your Miracast dongle or TV. When it appears in the list, tap to connect, and a few moments later, you'll see your Android device duplicated on the big screen. Now you're free to fire up a playlist, watch a movie in 1080p, or let your friends watch you play Candy Crush Saga on the big screen. Just be mindful that although the brightness on your device doesn't affect that of the TV, locking your Android will also black out your TV.So, if you're watching a movie, be sure to hook your Android up to its charger.

I'm trying to install Kodi from the Google Apps on a Samsung Smart TV, but there's no way to click "install". I place the cursor over the "install" link, and then hit "enter" but it does nothing. Is there a way around this? Thanks!

This took a bit of research. I spoke to Samsung at length on this and then did some further research on the web. The issue seems to be that the Samsung Smart TVs run the “Tizen” operating system, which is an offshoot of Linux. Samsung assures me that Kodi will run under Tizen, but this is unsupported by any information I was able to get from the Kodi group.Anyway, first suggestion, make sure you downloaded the Linux version of Kodi. If not, the answer is simple, that your TV can’t read the install file.I happen to own a new Samsung Smart TV and I’m now trying to complete the same exercise. I’ll let you know if I figure out how to do this. I currently use an external smart TV box from Stream Free for Kodi so I’ve not had any need to try and complete this unnatural act with my Samsung. If anyone else has solved this dilemma, please let me know by emailing me at Stream Free, I’d love to hear of any work-arounds. contact support@streamfree.store
