If You Make 17 An Hour

17 dollars an hour job?

8 x 17 = $138.00 (how much you make in a day)

138 x 5 = $680.00 (how much you make in a week)

This is assuming you work 8 hours everyday and work the full 5 days out of the week. You have a fairly well paying job at $17.00 an hour.

Yeah! My 200th answer! :D

If I make 17 dollars an hour how much would I make each month?

Assuming you work 8 hours a day:

8 hours of work a day
30 (about) days in month

So 17x8=136

And 136x30=4048

You would be earning approximately $4048 per month

Also, you would earn $48,960 just in case you wanted to know

How long would it take to make $10,000 if earn $17 an hour?

With a question like that you’re either still in elementary school, or you should seriously considering going back.$10,000 divided by $17 equals 588.24, meaning 588.24 hours. The average work week is 40 hours.588.24 hours divided by 40 hours is 14.71, meaning 14.71 weeks. The average month is 4.5 weeks, give or take.14.71 weeks divided by 4.5 weeks (1 month) equals 3.27, meaning 3.27 months.I really hope you’re not part of the “We want $15” McDonalds crowd, because if you are, you’re a shining example of why the rest of us are saying hell no. This was a basic math question. And basic math is a requirement of even entry level McDonald’s jobs.

If I get paid $16 or $17 an hour, how much will I get after taxes?

I make $16 an hour, get paid bi-weekly. After taxes, my check for 80 hours is 1104.74, before taxes it is 1280.00. I claim head of household with 1 dependant

I have a 17 hour layover in Hong Kong. What can I do?

Here is an itinerary I would take - your mileage may vary. Take airport express to Central (HK$ 100, 24 minutes, every 10 minutes or so). If you arrive at 7 am to Hong Kong, you'll be at Central at 8:15. Find a place for a breakfast, then walk to take a tram to Victoria peak (the peak) - 15 minutes from Central. Take the tram to the peak (HK$33, one-way) and spend couple of hours walking around the peak. The view from the top is really nice, if not for the fog. You could walk down (15-20 minutes) using old peak road towards Hollywood Rd and take Mid-Central escalators. It is an interesting place for people watching. Walk around the place or head back to Central and take a ferry to Kowloon. Enjoy the view! You should be at Kowloon around mid-day. You could take a ride by subway to ShaTin station to visit 10,000 Buddhas monastery (free). Technically, it is not a monastery and there are almost 13,000 Buddhas there.  The monastery is 10 minutes by walk from the station.  Get back to Kowloon and enjoy a couple of hours there before heading back to the airport by the same Airport Express from Kowloon or Hong Kong. The airport is really big and you may want to be there 90 minutes before your departure. If i make 10 dollars an hour, how much do i make per minute?

divide by 60..go on do it....I'm not going to do it for you.

I make $9 and hour. I work 25 hours a week. How much will I have made in 2 weeks after taxes? I'm also 17 and this is my first job.

Depending where you live…$9 x 25 hrs = $225.00…you will gross $ 225.00. Your net will vary only your local taxes, but a rule of thumb is to expect approximately 33% to be withheld in taxes. Again, it does vary on your local taxes and also the number of exemptions that you claim on your W-2.So, based on the average deductions…$225.00 x 33% = $ 74.25. Expect to have $74.25 to be withheld from your paycheck for taxes (Fed, State, FICA, SSI), and net a big huge paycheck of $ 150.75.***************************************************Sure beats my first job….40 hours a week at $2.90/hr., as a lifeguard, in 1979!
