If You Wanted To Set A Record What Would You Do To Prepare

Where can I search for death records for FREE?

I have gone to several different sites but they all end up asking for money. I thought death records were public records and anyone should be able to search for a loved one but I'm hitting dead ends everywhere.

How do I prepare for open mic night at a comedy club?

You definitely want to write down your material and rehearse it out loud. For a new comedian, this is absolutely necessary. once you've been performing for awhile, it's easy to work new bits or ideas into your set that you haven't actually written down or rehearsed. Doing several minutes of brand new, unrehearsed material as a new comedian is not going to end pretty. Start by determining how much time you'll have on the open mic. usually this will be about 5 minutes. Then go through everything you've written and figure out what the best 5 minutes you have is. Then reorganize the material so that there's a logical flow to the set (this is beneficial but not necessary though). Also pay close attention to the quality of the material throughout your set. If you start strong and end strong, but have 2-3 minutes of horrible stuff in the middle, you're going to lose the audience. You want to organize your material so that the quality bounces from high to low and back again throughout the set. Obviously, "low" quality material is relative. You don't want to put any "bad" material  in there. We're just talking about relative to your best material. After that, rehearse it OUT LOUD. Rehearsing out loud uses a different part of your brain than simply going through your material mentally. if you memorize it word-for-word mentally you'll find you get on stage and can't get out the words you want in a natural speaking tone... it'll come out really choppy. Rehearsing out loud replicates what you're going to be going through your first time on stage, which is exactly what you want. It also gets you use to the pauses and breaths that you'll need to take throughout your set. Also, develop a set list. A set list is a list of a few words that will spark the idea you want to say. You don't want to "read through" your set to the audience. Just a word or two that reminds you while you're on stage exactly what you want to talk about. From there you look back up and deliver the bit to the audience.once you have your set list and you've rehearsed your material, you're ready to go. How to Be a Comedian Online Comedy Course

I want to become president of the United States one day. What should I do to prepare? I'm 25 years old.

Tricky.First off and it bears repeating. President of the United States is a hard job. Hard as it gets. So hard that 4 years of it will turn your black hair white.Secondly, don't do it for the money. It does not pay well.Third, you have to accept that half the people in America are going to loudly hate your guts. From a practical point of view get a good education. Graduate level, possibly in Law since a lot of what the president does deals with the law. Minor in political science and history. Read a lot. Daily newspaper.Take Debate, study rhetoric. Most of what you do is argue what people should or shouldn't do.Keep excellent records, especially of your finances.Avoid associating with stupid people. Be careful who you fool around with. Someday everyone you ever did anything foolish or reckless with will wind up being interviewed. When that happens, admit everything. Nothing good comes from hiding your mistakes, especially if those mistakes have voices of their own.Consider what you believe in. Research a topic thoroughly before taking a position. When you so, stick to it unless you are proven wrong. Never lie. Never say you never said that. Be willing to compromise. If your reason to become president is to help as many people as possible, be sure that's the way to do it. Many jobs have more direct impact on the populace then president.Remember people. Keep a record of who you talk to everyday. An investigator may one day ask you who you had lunch with on April 14th, 30 years ago, a Thursday, and it might be important you know.Exercise and stay fit. For endurance, not strength. Cardio, running. Marathons if not triathlons. Some of your work days might be 72 hours long and involve life and death decisions and passing out from exhaustion in the middle of it would look bad in the history books.A term in the military is a good idea. Not too long. While career military officers have served as president they usually did so after a long and dangerous career and then did poorly in office because the skills of command they learn in the military do not translate to the skill of compromise a president needs.Embrace humility and arrogance. Humility will make people like you. And you have to have a lot of arrogance to think you deserve to be the most powerful person in the world.Marry well. Have a person in your life you can be with and not be the president.

How do I become a detective?

Well although I'm only 15 I've wanted to be detective or something like that in that field for more than 7 years (which I would say is long time dream compared to most young people, well people I know)

I want to be a singer?

i've wanted to be a singer all my life- Just like the millions of other people out there- But i don't know how. I get that you have to have a record deal- And I know how it all works- But MY problem is that- I don't know where to start. How do you get signed to a record label? Do you just solely have to have a good voice? I realize I sound stupid, But I have to figure this all out some-time right? :P. I'm pretty much just asking for any information on how to become a singer- And I don't mean just as a hobby. Do you actually need a record label to sign you anyway?
