If you could be any mythical creature, what would it be and why?
Please explain why, it's much more interesting that way. Example of a good answer: I would be a vampire, sort of a generic response to said question I know. Kindred are overcome by despair and loneliness. They can create slavish servants and children vampires who love them and are tied to them unconditionally. Although the human race has it's many great qualities, the majority of us I see as simple, close-minded, selfish, hateful beings who are irrational for the sake of pride and other shortcomings. I myself am sadly cursed with some of these characteristics, but bringing me to why I said that: The act of drinking human blood by a vampire is supposed to be a superlative high. I would have no sympathy in doing this, for I would chose my victims well. And in attaining that superlative high, my loneliness wouldn't matter. After creating my own clan, we would live in the shadows. We would be a nomadic clan, moving from city to city, picking off corrupt politicians and sickening disgraces to the human race. After centuries of enacting our own natural selection, we'd become rulers and enforcers of the newly created world. But yes, I'm eager to see what type of answers you all put down. =)
Mythical creature dress up?
I'm going to a wedding and the invitation says to wear Attire: Semi-Formal with your favorite Mythological Creature Accents but I don't know what I can add to make a mythical creature accent. Any help? (the bride is dressing up as a mermaid for the ceremony.)
What mythical creature would you like to ride?
This little pet:The name is Chrysomallus and he is a flying ram.Why don’t choose Pegasus then? After all they’re both from Ancient Greek mythology and they basically are animals with wings.Because Chrysomallus was a very special ram and not because of his wings, but because of his golden fleece. The Golden Fleece, to be precise: the one Jason and his men tried to steal from Eeta, because it was said to bring riches, welfare and protection to the owner. In fact it was almost impossible for everyone to reach Eeta’s lands, not to mention conquer them. So, Chrysomallus:Is able to flyIs made of goldKeeps you safe and sound even in a volcanoGives you health and riches — and power, if you’re smart enough to use it well. And he’s adorable, admit it!(It might be a problem if I fall from Chrysomallus while we’re flying over a sea, like Elle did. But ehi, then they’ll name a sea after me!)
What mythical creatures can a human become?
In mythology a human can become the following: -witch -werewolf -vampire -ghost/spirit -selkie As well as a whole slew of other things, there are many instances in mythology and religion where humans have been transformed or cursed to become something else. Sometimes supernatural creatures, sometimes animals, and sometimes even inanimate objects such as pillars of salt. Just remember that none of it is real so we're just going to have to be happy being human. :)
Do you believe in "mythical Creatures"?
Well the question posed is that in which mythical creatures actualy exist.. I would have to say that they do and it is not about the perception of the closed minded bible humpers that think that there is no way that they could be anything but demons.. You sir (bungyow) are a absolute Billy Graham groopie. the absolute thought that they are to be demons would make me belive that you are forgeting that the story is that Noah couldnt get the unicorns on the big freakin yacht that he built. And I hope that you dont have kids... cause if you do then you had better get rid of any and all Santa stuff you got.. Technicaly he is a Myth you idiot's. And I suppose that you would rather your kids, or any you know, bite the heads off of chocolate Jesus's. because the Easter Bunny...... MYTHICAL... And not to forget the Tooth Fairy... I mean the Tooth Desiphel... BECAUSE FAIRY'S ARE MYTHICAL TOO.. Not to say that all christians are stupid or closed minded. Just most... and well of course you butyum.. or bungyow... whatever.. Blessed Be long live her holyiness

What mythical creatures can live forever?
While it is not always true for all of these: -Ghosts -gods -some demi-gods -any previously mortal being that was imbued with immortality by a powerful force (this can be a boon or a curse, think of the Nazgul) -humans that have removed themselves from the aging process, through either magic or science -entities that are not so much gods as they are ideas, like the Furies -automatons (similar to androids) -Jinn -Fae (Fairies) -Elementals, or other embodiment of physical presences -Dragons -Phoenix -Any kind of spirit (ghost, phantasm, poltergeist, familiar, apparitions, nightmares, souls) -Elves And, while this is not proper immortality, some individuals can extend their lives by performing rituals, making deals, sciences, or magics. This longevity can come from a Good or Evil force.
