Aliens have sent us a message that they will invade the Earth in 100 years. They will leave if we hold out for 6 years. How do we prepare?
Leave Earth to the aliens but leave them a few surprises when they get there…..An alien threat to all of Earth will probably be enough to get everyone to work together, or at least most major countries.0-20 years: All countries cancel military and offensive spending to unite and put everything into space technology, ships, terraforming, habitation domes, everything.20–50 years:Begin process of moving all humans to other now terraformed planets, Mars, Venus, Jupiter’s moon, Saturn’s moons and more, use Earth as a supply line to make them self-sufficient (should be doable if all countries use half their budget on it instead of on military, looking at you USA)50–80 years:Finalize moving all humans to now self-sufficient human colonies on other planets, transportation of all remaining resources from Earth begins to save everything possible.80–100 years: Use the nuclear stockpiles left over to seed the Earth with massive nuclear bombs that will wipe out the entire surface and send giant chunks of debris into space, with 20 years to build bombs larger than the Tsar Bomba (100 Megatons)and over 80 years of space research to use on this (antimatter drive anyone?) we might have just enough to kill all those evil aliens who threatened us a century ago.Years 100–106: Detonate all the bombs and watch the fireworks…..Like that except over the entire planet, incinerating all those murderous aliens and their ships.Also, maybe leave a tiny colony on Earth in a heavily fortified bunker to survive the alien attack and all the nukes to say that humans held onto Earth for 6 years (technically).Since the question only said they would invade Earth, we don’t need to worry about them attacking Mars after this ends.Lesson: Don’t mess with the human race.
Why is it okay for Muslim armies to invade other nations in order to "improve them"...?
It seems like you guys are ignoring my question. It is NOT okay for non-Muslim countries to invade and conquer...I agree with this, and I have frequently read comments from Muslims condemning Europe for invading the Americas and condeming Europe for invading Africa and condemning America for invading wherever. And yet it seems like it IS okay that the Muslim armies built their empire based on invasion and conquest. The very beginnings of the religion involved massive amounts of warfare. How was the Islamic empire any different from the Kufaar ones?

How much notice does the Army give before deploying soldiers?
It depends on his unit. Usually you get at least a month notice give or take. Soldiers have to go through an SRP process. If his unit is already deployed when he signs in, he will in process and it will be up to his command if he goes or not. A bonus doesn't matter. In some units like my reserve unit they look at those who haven't deployed and have them go first. Don't worry they won't have your son go out with a bunch of non experience soldiers.
Moving to Ireland! Help/Advice Pretty Please ?
So I created an account just to ask you guys a few basic questions.. if you don't mind that is. I even stayed up extra late because I know you're 8 hours ahead. Haha. ( I'm from BC, Canada ) ANY advice you guys could give me would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Okay, here goes: (1) In your opinion, what is the best town/city to live in? & what is the cheapest? Friendliest? ( I want to live in a small town hopefully, with the basic amenities lol ) (2) Is it hard to find apartments and jobs in Ireland? How about finding roommates? Whats the average rent? ( I know overwhelming right ) (3) How do the people treat uhhm foreigners?? ( je ne sais quoi.. lol ) I figure they'd be very friendly but understandably a little tired of them. I'll probably be mistaken for an American. ( oh so happy about that ) .. ;) (4) Finally, if I happen to plug in my 120 volt hair straightener.. will I die? Anyway, I'm looking to live in a town with lots of culture. I'm of Scottish descent ( like most Canadians ) and the city I'm living in at the moment has a population of 330,088. Can India defeat China in a full-fledged war?
I am Chinese. And I think if there is a war between India and China, India will definitely win. There are three reasons for that, in my opinion:Access to weaponry & military tech. China can use only the weapons that it developed and built on its own, whereas India can buy any weapon they want from USA and Russia. As we all know, the military tech of US and USSR/Russia is far more advanced than that of China. How can we win the war if our sword is just trash in comparison to that of our opponents.Fundamental population demographic problem of China. All people say that there will be enormous trouble if war starts between China and India, because both have seemingly endless number of people capable of participating in the war. However, since the one child policy lasted for decades in China, most of the Chinese soldiers are the only child of their parents. If you are a parent, will you risk losing your only child for some meaningless war? It is highly likely that the parents would dissuade their child from participating in the war. Thus, I think Chinese war effort will implode from the inside even before there's a significant offense from the Indian side.The advantage of the social and political system of India. India is a democratic country whereas China is not. I think Indian soldiers would act much more bravely since they know they are fighting for themselves. The Chinese soldiers, on the other hand, would be fighting just to satisfy the whims of their government.I really wish there is no war between our countries. Asia is a place full of hope and potential at this time. Don’t we all remember the result of Europe’s wars in the last century?The glorious civilization of EU got severely ruined due to the wars. That’s why USA and USSR could dominate the world for half a century.I have lived in peace in all past years. I have never been to India, so I wouldn't even know what this alleged enemy looks like if we were to start a war. There are so many good things in the world to experience and think about, why should I think about starting a war against an undefeatable country?
