If You Were Shot By The Police Which Photo Would The Media Use To Represent You

Why is it when we see cell phone videos involving a police shooting, we almost never see what the victim was doing before he was shot? Is the media trying to stir racial tension for ratings?

Cellphone cameras, at least that I know of, are not point and shoot. You have to unlock your phone, navigate to the picture app, slide it to video. All of that takes enough time that by the time someone realizes they should be taking a video, the decision to fire has been made. All respect to the cops, a lot of these situations happen on a very sudden basis. Yeah, I'm sure there are bad apples who want to shoot. But I'm also sure a lot of them are honestly just doing their job and in a split second decision, maybe don't make the best possible call. Or maybe they do make the best possible call and there is still a bad outcome. We civilians can actually empathize with this. Think of the last time you were scared or nervous. Did you make all the right calls? Was there an objective right call? Was there anything you could've done better? Police face that same kind of thinking, but unfortunately when they're at their job, lives can be at stake. So why is there no beginning to a lot of these videos? I'm betting in the 10 or 15 seconds it takes to unlock the phone and start recording, pretty much everything has taken place.I don't think the media wants to stir racial tension. The media wants to sell you their news. To use a story from my hometown, what probably sold more news? A lawyer named Richard Luthmann represented a school sports team for some minor legal matter…. Or a lawyer named Richard Luthmann got indicted on some serious federal charges?Same for cops. How often do you get to see officer Tommy Norman on TV doing nice things? Probably 10% of the time tops we get a good cop story. 90 percent of the time it's bad… because bad news sells. It doesn't matter how much actual good news there is on any given topic.

I had my record sealed, but Mugshots.com still has my mugshot and I want it removed. What can I do?

Fuck Mugshots .com!Here’s what you can do…Instead of spending your hard earned cash paying them to remove your photo. Or hours trying to get your records expunged. Just water them down. It’s simple. Nobody goes past the 3rd page of Google results. Google shows the most relevant content at the top for the search that’s submitted. If mugshots .com or any other site is the top result for your name search, then you need to improve your online presence.Get your name (as people or employers would search it) on as many high ranking sites you can. Here’s an example of a close friend of mine, who was arrested for a simple traffic violation a few years ago.Enkose Plummer.Page 1Page 2Page 3Notice how his mugshot pictures are all the way on page 3. Page 4 would probably be the safest, but he’s getting there. This is because his name is all over high quality sites. Such as youtube, soundcloud, linkedIn, Pinterest, Vimeo, Medium, etc.Sign up for the sites that will always rank over sketchy mugshot sites. And it shouldn’t take long to water them down to the point of oblivion…RESULT PAGE 4.Don’t pay them money. Out play them. Play the system. Or better yet, the algorithim. And one day, they’ll dwindle out of business.Hope this helps. If so, follow my quora below for more of my answers like this!P.S.- Hope you don’t mind Enkose. It’s to help the victims of shady mugshot scams.

I just read that 50% of the population hate Police Officers. Do you? If so, why?

I do not hate the Police. Just trying to see from the responders how accurate a statement this is. If you hate the Police, can you give us a reason why? Thank you.

Why do so many people have such negative opinions of police officers these days? (Do you really understand?)?

Lp P~ I had a VERY hard time trying to read your post. I am only about 20% fluent in spanish, so I understand JUST enough to get most of what you are saying.

IF you are being 100% honest, then simply put...you have NOTHING to worry about.

If it is rumored that you spit in someones food, then YES you will be public enemy #1 in that department (I'm in a TINY town that had that happen last year, and brought about felony charges).

BUT having said that, I have ALOT more faith in the oficers, than to think they would target a completely random faily for no good reason.

If your nose is clean then don't sweat it. Your talking 2 years...unless your into MAJOR trafficing, and they are building a case, you have NOTHING to worry about. They'd have busted you long ago if you were a top priority concern.

Be a decent person, go to your local department, donate clothing, donate funds, donate time, let them see you for who you really are.

I wouldn't worry about things, seriously.
