Illegal Alien Said To Me Yes We May Be Messing Up The Usa But They Deserve It For Messing Up

Is deporting illegal immigrants necessary? In essence, what are they as a group doing to make the world worse?

I have been in the construction business for 38 years. I started out as a laborer at 17 years old and have moved up to project manager/supervisor. Maybe this should be posted under "What needs to be said" but I will post it here. Without the immigrant worker nothing would get built or be maintained in this country. Why? The American born worker of today sucks! There it is. I deal with hundreds of contractors a year. 90% of their workforce is Hispanic. They all echo the same sentiment. Now before someone chimes in about how all of the money earned leaves the country let me set some facts. It's true the "one truck Johnny" may be paying someone here illegally in cash but this is a micro fraction of the construction and maintenance industries. Any company of even modest size must employ by the law. There is no way around it. So every worker must have permission to be here, has payroll taxes taken out of his or her check and pays into social security (even if they don't have the right to ever collect) It does not matter if they are citizens, here on a green card or work visa they have the same paycheck deductions as everyone else. They live here the best they can, meaning they pay rent, pay for food, clothing and entertainment the same as the rest of us. If they manage to save a few bucks and decide to send it back to their home country who is anybody to object?Getting back to the quality of worker, 9 times out of 10 when an American born worker is hired their first concern is when is break time, or when is payday, or when do we quit for the day and don't get me started with the cell phones. When they do work it's like they are doing you a favor. However when it comes to the immigrant worker 7 times out of 10 its like they are on a mission to prove that they belong and will not be outworked by anyone. The work is appreciated and many are better skilled than their American born counterpart.  I realize that this post is going to anger many people. I don't consider myself a bleeding heart liberal. I am an independent voter and have voted for as many Republicans as Democrats. I am just giving you a real world perspective. I invite all who make a living in either the construction or maintenance industries to chime in. I'm confident that many will not like their answers.

Having two wives is illegal, but we can have one wife and one girl friend right?

Oh, peace be with you too.If you marry someone and also have a girlfriend it will end up costing you. If you plan to have children, you should not have a girlfriend, obviously. Otherwise you chose to have a girlfriend that will mess up your marriage and hurt your children. Illegal, no. Immoral, yes.

Garnish illegal aliens wages for medical and welfare costs.?

Do you think it would be a good idea to garnish the wages of illegal aliens, if and when they try and buy real-estate, apply for legal status, or any other way? They owe us. Some day they will be legal and they will have to pay us back.

I know that some crimes are committed in the U.S. by illegal immigrants but is it right to argue that as a main point as to why illegal immigration needs to be eliminated completely?

As Pelosi, and Schumer like to argue: “If it saves only one life shouldn’t we do this.”By definition, Illegal = Criminal. They broke the laws of this land, entering or staying here illegally, Like it or not breaking laws by definition is criminal. Doesn’t matter if you’re a gang member, a dreamer, or someone who just wants a better life. you broke the law.Now you may not consider it to be serious, but to those who are affected by illegal actions such is quite serious. What do you say to them? What do you say to the moms, who have lost their children, at the hands of illegals who even though they were hard workers, messed up (little too much to drink) and then were involved in Felony DUI? How do you give them their child back? How do you compensate them for their loss? What apology are you offering them?If you stopped illegal immigration to begin with you wouldn't have had to ask that question, of how to tell a parent you’re sorry for your misguided ideals. My nephew, was murdered at the hands of a Dreamer who had no business being in this country illegally. But here he was. He was a good boy, to hear his mom tell it. Made pretty good grades, never was in any trouble, until he shot my nephew making a pizza delivery. My nephew wasn’t the target, his delivery was, but this dreamer shot my nephew in the head. How will you apologize to me? Better yet how will you apologize to my brother, who lost his son. Due to that tragedy, his wife spiraled into drugs, and because of that his marriage ended. He then spiraled into alcohol and depression. How will you say you’re sorry to them for your misguided ideals? How will you make them whole? So yes it is completely right, just and proper to argue for the total elimination of illegal, no, make that criminal immigration.Edit: Some mistakenly believe this is not a crime. So I'll lay it out for you in article and verse of law.Is it a Crime to Enter The U.S. Illegally? It is violation of Federal criminal statutes.Or better known as title 8 section 1325 and section 275. Since the penalty can be incarceration, fine or both this raises the bar from summary offense to a criminal offense. A federal offense! So no matter how much the term criminal galls you, it is correct.

Have you ever lost your job to an illegal immigrant?

I personally haven’t had a job ‘taken’ from me, but a good friend of mine has experienced that. He owns an electrical contracting business and lost a bid job on a new apartment building several years ago. About three months later the building owner called him and begged him to come and look over the work that had already been done. When my friend looked at the electrical installation, he immediately saw several very serious problems. The wrong material had been used in some areas, and what was used had been installed improperly. The entire electrical wiring system was unsafe and a fire hazard. It turned out that the dishonest electrical contractor who underbid my friend and got the job, was using Illegal Aliens as ‘electricians’, but they did NOT know the National Electric Code, and they did NOT have the required Electrical Licenses. The local electrical inspector only showed up once about half way through the project. The dishonest contractor and his buddy showed the inspector their licenses and said they were the only ones doing the installation. What they had done was use Illegal Aliens as fake electricians, depriving another company and the 4–5 US Citizens who had valid licenses from being employed. Worse yet, is the fact that the entire installation could have caused a fire and killed the people living there. We can solve this huge problem very simply. Get Congress to pass a national law which requires ALL people to be cleared through the existing E-Verify system for ANY job and for ANY benefit provided by ANY state or federal agency. Any employer who knowingly hires or provides benefits to an Illegal Alien will be prosecuted with a Federal Felony and lose their business license. With no income and no ‘freebies’, the vast majority of Illegal Aliens will simply pack up and self-deport. Those few remaining can more easily be identified and deported.
