The Illuminati are a powerful group of families, including the Rothschilds and Rockefellers, who basically own the whole worldwide banking system and, via that wealth and power, most governments and mega commerce around the world..They are sometimes known as the Secret Government, and link with the Bilderberger Group..As they also own most of and control the whole media, what we are told is normally NOT what is actually happening but what they WISH us to believe, but their power is now waning and, in the next two years, their whole pack of cards will come tumbling down to make way for something MUCH better for the masses!
