Im 116 Lbs And Im Still Chubby

Im 5'3 and I weigh 135 lbs. Is that fat?

You may be asking for an opinion, or a medical diagnosis, it's hard to tell. As for the opinion, it sounds fat, but for the medical diagnosis, an adult man, or woman, that height is not classified as fat until about 140 lbs. So, you have 5 pounds to go, but I wouldn't suggest you have a 2nd muffin. That 5 lbs can sneak up on you overnight.Nobody here can possibly give you what effect your weight will have on you. Your doctor can determine that with more than your height and weight. If you are young there’s probably not too much to be worried about, now. Those health issues from weight usually come later in life, but you should make an appointment with your doctor to find out if you are at a healthy weight.

If I'm 5'5 and 120 lbs, am I skinny?

The answer to this question is complicated. It really depends on what your definition of skinny is? Do you mean skin and bones? Or do you mean fit and healthy?A woman who is 5′5″ at 120 pounds could either be very thin, but still have a high body fat percentage and low lean body mass (muscle)At the same time, a woman with the exact same specs could bear a high amount of muscle and a low body fat percentage. These two women, when put side by side would look very different. From my view, I would suggest that you consider how fit you are versus how much you weigh. Weight and BMI are very deceiving. I would consider a thin-looking woman with a high body fat percentage to be overweight (even at 120 lbs.) compared to a woman at the same weight with more muscle (even if she looks thicker than the other woman). Why don’t you take a look at these links:Your BMI – is it fat or muscle? I’m 13 years old, am 5’2″-ish, & weigh 115-117 lbs. Am I fat, or overweight?

You are, right now, at the most active period of growth since you were a baby, and it will affect your physical and mental stature for the rest of your life.If you feel that you are overweight, you need to talk with your doctor, who can weigh and measure you, and knows your health history. These are important factors for determining if and how you need to alter your weight. Be sure and tell them how much fat you want to discard. When I was in seventh grade, I got pretty fat. The summer between seventh and eighth grades, I grew 3 inches without putting on but a couple of pounds. I used up the energy I had stored for that growth spurt. Had I not gotten that extra fat, I might very well be three inches shorter than I am.Now, one thing you can do is get more active. Do yourself a favor and put away your video games and forget where you put them. Put on your comfy shoes and get out and walk. Start slow and don’t go too far, but go. Today happens to be the best day of the year to start. Talk to your folks about going to the gym, and talk to your doctor about that. You are exactly the right age to start weight training. Now, once you have your doctor’s approval, do this: Mark Nobles's answer to What is the best way to be fit in 4 months at age 20 (not fat)?

Is 116 lbs fat for a 14 year old?

Honey, you're practically underweight!! At 14, I was 5' 6" and 119 and was classified as underweight (my parents were afraid I was anorexic!)!

Maintain the weight you have now, eat right and DO NOT lose any weight!

Im a 13 year old girl and 5 feet tall and 116 lbs. healthy?

is this healthy? i dont think im skinny or fat but i wouldnt mind loosing some weight. however, i wouldnt think of becoming anorexic or anything awful like that, my self confidence isnt that low. but i would like to loose some extra in my stomach area and legs. any advice? tell me what to do to loose weight please, not just "change your diet and excercise" i would like to know what excercises i should do and what i should eat. i want to be around 105 lbs, could that be possible in a month in a half? if not, how long should it take? school is in a month and a half and i would really like to be skinnier.
btw, i have no access to a gym.
thanks alot!

Why do I have a very fast metabolism but I am still skinny fat?

There is no such thing as a “fast metabolism.” No one’s body burns like 4k calories just by lying in bed for 24 hours. You just don’t eat as much as you think you do.If you go to a buffet and eat 6–7 full plates, would you get hungry again 2 hours later? No? You don’t have a big appetite.Being skinny fat means you’re skinny (thin arms, thin legs, narrow shoulders) but your body fat percentage is still kind of high. If you’re skinny and your belly appears flat when you stand but you have some belly fat piling up when you sit and have no visible abs, your body fat percentage is definitely high. When you’re skinny, underweight, and have very little muscle mass, your body fat percentage will be high, even if you have a little bit of fat in you.For example, if a skinny guy who weighs 130 lbs and has very little muscle mass has 20 lbs of fat, this may not seem a lot to you, but if you calculate his body fat percentage, he will be 15% body fat, which is considered to be skinny fat. So even though his arms and legs appear thin to you, when he shakes his arms and legs, they would jiggle a lot.If you’re skinny fat and underweight, you should perform heavy compound movements, such as deadlift, squat, bench press, overhead press, etc. while eating surplus calories. I would suggest eating 200–400 calories above your maintenance level. Anything more than that, you’ll gain too much fat. Fat gain is inevitable when gaining muscles but we’re trying to minimize fat gain.If you’re skinny fat and have a small beer belly or love handles, you should go on a caloric deficit diet to shed the unnecessary fat first, and then try to build muscles.
