Im 13 and 5"5" and weigh 140 pounds and im in alot of sport..an=m i over weight?

140 lbs. for a 13 yr. old 5'5'' is indeed overweight. Check with your doctor to see in what areas you can improve on to loose some weight.

If I'm 13, weigh 120 pounds and I'm 5'4, am I healthy?

Skinny is not the same as healthy.A good weight for your size is not the same as healthy. So much more goes into being healthy than just not being overweight. It is such a shame that people are far more interested in weight than health, and even then mistake a good weight for being overweight! If you want to be healthy, here are some tips to help:First, cut out the drinks like sodas, fruit juices, energy drinks, and loading up on sugar in your coffee (if you drink it). This one change can go miles towards improving overall health! Why fruit juice? All the sugar but none of the fiber. Yes, it has nutrients but it’s still better to just eat the whole fruit. You can drink flavored or unflavored carbonated water if you really love that fizzy taste. Tea and coffee are fine if you don’t over-do it (though you may be a bit young yet for coffee) and don’t load up on the sugars. But you are fine adding whole cream! In fact, whole fats are sadly missing from a lot of diets, and they are so necessary!Whole cream, olive oil, nut oils, and avocado, to name a few, are excellent additions to your diet. They offer necessary fats, taste great, and help you feel full longer.Focusing on getting plenty of fiber-rich vegetables is another great habit to form. These can be cooked or raw.Fruit isn’t bad by any means, but should be paired with fiber and fats to get the best of the fruit while buffering their sugar content. Some fruit with whole-fat, plain yogurt and whole grain toast can be an excellent meal.Beyond your diet, though, sleep is so critical! A lack of sleep is actually a factor in weight, and not getting enough sleep is detrimental to your mental functions and mood.Even just making a habit of walking when you can is a good start to exercise. Walking is a great mood-booster, stress reliever, is good for overall health and keeping your joints working.Stress is another one of those often overlooked factors in weight. Try to keep stress low when you can by walking, getting plenty of sleep, practicing meditative techniques, taking time for yourself to unwind, cutting back on social media, enjoying hot herbal teas, and keeping a journal to get things off your mind.Society puts unnecessary focus on a number on the scale while generally ignoring actual health, so it is harder to move against that flow, but if you can focus on your overall health right now and not worry about just ‘weight’ you’ll be so much better off for your whole life!

I am 120 pounds, 5'2″ and 13 years old. Am I overweight? (I’m on the track team if that has to do with anything)

If you’re muscle it’s completely fine and great really! As an adult, 120lbs ( no muscle) at your height is the higher end of the healthy, but not bad or overweight and I have a feeling you’ll grow as you’re so young still and when you get taller this weight will spread out a bit more and make you look slimmer. If you’re exercising and eating well for the most part don’t worry about it. If you’re uncomfortable or feel like you need to lose weight then talk to a doctor and see what they say, Honestly at your age I know how tough it can be and if you feel uncomfortable or not confident just make sure to eat healthily and don’t start reducing calories too much or you’ll end up weak and lethargic.Otherwise just keep exercising and try to keep a positive outlook. Health should be your top priority next to school and having fun!

How do I determine the weight of the bowling ball I should use?

Bowling balls come in a variety of weights, ranging from 6 pounds to 16 pounds. Choosing the right ball is crucial. Choose a ball that is heavy enough for you to roll down the lane without putting strain in your body. Doing that can of course be tricky so here is a simple thumb rule : 1. Divide your body weight (in pounds) by 11 and 2. You shouldn't pick a ball that is heavier than this obtained number. Ideally, you might want to try the ball that is 1 or 2 pounds lesser than the obtained number. For example, I weigh around 115 pounds (115/11 = 10.45) and am most comfortable with a 9 pound ball.
