Im 15 And A Guy I Want A Ankle Tatto Would It Stretch

I want to get a tat on my left boob but im afraid to let the guy see me....is that strange or normal?

Its very normal for tatooists to see a persons private um, areas. When I got the tatoo on my lower back, I had to take my pants off. The guy didn't even bat an eye. I was impressed. They're very professional.

Getting rosary tattoo on my ankle?

I think its a lovely idea for a tattoo. I have seen similar tattoos and they all looked great. Who cares what other people think - the tattoo is for you and only you. You will never make everybody happy, so why try? Well, if you're having second thoughts you may want to hold off on it for a while... wait and get it when the time is right. Good luck to you!

Ankle Tattoo? Yes or no?

I really want to get a tattoo on my ankle so badly but am so afraid of the pain. I have an extrememly low tolerance for pain. When I got my naval pierced I thought that hurted like hell, but it was bareable. Does it really hurt that bad to get a tattoo on your ankle?

What does an ankle tattoo feel like?

like a needle sticking in your ankle lots of times

Pain of thigh tattoo vs. ankle tattoo?

I have one tattoo, it is a quote on my inner ankle. It hurt SO MUCH, but it was quick--about 15 minutes. The tattoo I want on my thigh, is big, about 5 full-colored flowers and maybe text. Obviously this will take a while. Compared to my ankle tattoo, how would you rate pain?

What are good places on the body where tattoos won't stretch?

Your entire body is going to stretch and change. There is no body part that you posses right now that isn't going to change. If you're 5'6" at 15, I don't see how you're going to another six inches or so. I think you're almost done growing kiddo. Way to be optimistic though...but even though I want to say it, I'm not going to even mention a thing about tattooing and age...you know what I want to say anyway...
So, aside from the motherly and professional advice I want to give you, I will say that you don't have to worry about ruining any tattoo simply by growing a bit, so yay, there you go.
Here's something to look forward to, all of us will eventually be a big wrinkled mess, with or without tattoos. You only live once...do what you want I guess.

Question about hand tattoo?

Your hands could still grow, so yes, your tattoo will stretch.

Keep in mind that, as you age, weight gain or loss will affect how your tattoo looks. Look at an older person; have you ever seen bony, tight looking skin on them? Imagine what your tattoo would look like on that hand.

I'm all for self-expression and tattoos (I love tattoos) but get them in a better place than on your hand. Shoulders, back, stomach, upper arms, legs, ankle, foot are much better ideas (and better covered) than your hand.

Also, please wait until you are 18. If you still want it when you're 18, then you might consider getting it.

Look ahead to potential employment. As stupid as it is, employers do judge you by your looks, and if you've got a big 'ol tattoo on your hand (no matter WHAT it is of), the employer will more often than not find reason to not hire you.

If you want to be something like a teacher, business/salesperson, lawyer, doctor, etc, then you're going to have to have hidden tattoos... ones that you can cover with clothing. I know a guy who has sleeve tattoos, and his entire arms, neck, back, and part of his chest are all covered with some very nice tattoos... but they are all able to be hidden by his work shirt and tie. You'd never even suspect that he had any tattoos to begin with.

At what age did you get your first tattoo?

I started pretty early, must’ve been around 17. I’m sure I had an ID that said I was 18, but I had that one since I was 13.I remember my father saying no to a tattoo because I was still a minor and under his responsibility and as long as I was “his property” (he said it in a humorous way) I was not getting a tattoo.I remember deciding I would get it first and let it heal before showing them, so I wouldn’t get all the “it’s gonna get infected” bs. So I did.I remember a few weeks later saying to my father, I’ll soon be 18 and then I get to have my tattoo cause I’m not your responsibility anymore right? To which he replied, “you still live in my house, eat my food, I pay for your university, your clothes and your computer, it’s sounds to me like minor or not, you’re still my responsibility. No tattoo”I spent the next four years or so hiding my tattoos from my parents like my life depended on it.I got 9 during these four years, but they were tiny and low quality cause I had to keep them hidden and cause I had to save up for them without anyone noticing a change in my expenses.I loved them back then, now I’m getting them covered up for better looking ones and ones that work with the body of curvy adult woman.I think I pulled the trigger a little early.

Will it disfigure a chest tattoo if you continue to wear football shoulder pads right after getting it?

My 15 yr old son is wanting to get a tattoo on his chest or back. I have told him the risks, that his body is going to change and that the more he works out, the more it will stretch. I am also looking for some pictures to show him of disfigured tattoos. He plays highschool football and will be working out soon after getting the tattoo and wearing shoulder pads, the whole nine yards. What will this do to the tattoo? Help, his grandmother is signing the paper for him to get this done.
