I really want to join the military but my "disorder" is preventing it?
Ok so in 1rst grade I was diagnosed with pkd. I have perfect health other wise. My kidneys even work fine the only thing is mine have cyst when normal kidneys don't. My doctor said as long as I keep eating right and working out the way I do I'll be fine. I realize however that the military will not normally accept people with pkd bc they don't want to have to pay for treatment. And I've talk to a recruiter and said dont tell anyone and I'll be fine. I'm just don't want to be discharged for it but I really want to be a soldier. I meet every other criteria. Please help.
Cystic Fibrosis...?
My sons dr is having him tested for Cystic Fibrosis (CF). I was wondering if there were parents out there that has a child with CF. What is it like? What does the child struggle with besides weight? I already looked on the net and read some about it, but I was wanting real people to tell me what is is like. Thanks!
