Im A History Buff This Sounds Unsual

What was your experinces taking AP English and AP US History?

I thought AP English was a little hard. I think my problem was my teacher taught this class like his regular 9th grade English class. A lot of us didn't understand how to analyze and stuff too well in our essays. So, you might think I'm crazy, but having a hard teacher can actually work to your advantage for the test. You will at least be well prepared.

I agree with Mimi. I LOVED APUSH. Weird, right? I'm naturally a history buff, so it was right up my ally. Over all, I think it was the most challenging class I've taken in high school. Sometimes you really have to think outside the box and really analyze what your reading. Obviously, I know you have a lot of reading for this class, and as boring as it seems, READ IT! I can't stress that enough. It really will help you do well. My teacher for this class sounds like your AP English teacher. She was really intense and knew her stuff. She was a tough grader for our essays too, which actually helped me understand what I needed to write and stuff like that.

Do you have both these classes everyday all year long? My schedule at school is a little different, so I had these every other day, but all year long. I'd say don't get behind on your homework. You probably know that for every other class, but these classes you can't let anything slip. Also, if you don't understand something or want to improve, ask your teachers. They know your work best and will give you specific advice on what you can do to improve to pass the tests.

Good luck! & if you have any questions, just ask! :)

IS IT NORMAL TO BE IN LOVE WITH AN HISTORICAL CHARACTER?

It's perfectly normal, don't worry. I had long-dead historical figures as pin-ups on my bedroom wall for years, and many of my history-buff friends say they did too. (Some of them still do.) I can perfectly see why you should have fallen for Alexei - lovely-looking lad, brave personality, tragic young life.

So don't worry about it a bit, put the pictures on your wall and stare gloopily at them (I'm not being snarky - staring gloopily at pin-ups of your crush is what they're for, everyone who's ever had one knows that). Just don't let it take over your life entirely - don't turn down a date because you'd rather spend the evening at home with the Tsarevich, know what I'm saying?

What are 15 random facts about you?

Which language do you like most?

Hmm, I have a few aside from my own conlangs. (An asterisk next to a language means I am currently learning/studying the language)Korean: The syllable block concept is something I find really fascinating, also, the characters look really good and I really love the look and sound of Korean. Korean is overall my favorite, and I would love it even more if I were willing to put in time and effort to learn it. And I know what you might be thinking, no I am not a huge K-pop fan, I just love the Korean languageMandarin and Japanese: They’re in the same spot because they look really similar, and I love the sound of both. Mandarin’s tones give it this nice “melodic” feel to it that I can’t help but admire. Japanese sounds so calm and graceful all the time. I love the look of both because of the characters and how graceful they look and how sinuous they are compared to Korean. Also, I really respect people who put in time and effort to learn EITHER of these languages. (Also, I studied Mandarin in the past and it was a nightmare to learn)Español*: I love this language because it sounds awesome, and it is quite easy to learn and read. I am also studying this one currently. Also, my best friend is from Mexico and I have more Spanish speaking friends than other languages (besides English). Only drawback is all those dialects though….. (For those wondering, I am learning the dialect spoken in Spain)French: Beautiful language. The language of love. It is one of my favorites because it is so expressive and beautiful sounding. But that’s about it really. Oh, and it is somewhat easy to learnSwedish,Norwegian, and Danish: These languages look more interesting than anything else. Also, in my opinion, Swedish and Norwegian are the sexiest languages out there and the sexiest accents out there. Also, it’s fun to put dots over letters, or slashes through them, or circles over them, you get my pointRussian: The Cyrillic alphabet looks strange in a good way. Russian’s challenge is both a charm of learning it and a turn-off from learning it. It sounds kind of…..aggressive, though. Russia is very distant to the western world, and the cultural differences between English and Russian make it like studying a completely alien language

Sounds weird but I feel like I have a connection with titanic?!?

Ever since I was a small child I've been fascinated by the Titanic and everything about it. I think when something this dramatic happens, a lot of people feel a strong connection to it. They began to wonder about the lives lost on the ship, what it must have been like in those last minutes and how the survivors handled it and went on with their lives. As you research these things and you become more and more acquainted with all aspects of the Titanic, you tend to feel a closeness with these people. You begin to imagine yourself walking the ship, eating the food, listening to the music and sleeping in the cool staterooms. You can't help but feel like you were there so I totally get it and understand. Other than that, depending on your beliefs, reincarnation could be a possibility. Much good luck to you.

POWER METAL!!! Sabaton's "Coat of Arms"?

I only own The Art of War and have just heard other albums via youtube (Metalizer and Primo Victoria both seem pretty good)

MA: first time hearing this album. so far it sounds like fairly standard Sabaton. Good story telling, the unique vocals, catchy choruses. One thing that has always been the downside to Sabaton for me is that i find the guitars take a backseat to the keyboards in the mix. It does add to the "epic" sound to it, but my favourite power metal is usually guitar driven rather than keyboard.

anyways, I enjoy Sabaton, but definitely need to be in the mood for it.

BA: So far The Final Solution and Midway have stood out from your links. will be looking into the other links from the album as well.
