Im Afraid Of Being Sick

I'm sick, but I'm afraid to call into work, what should I do?

Recently my boyfriend became very ill, he had a fever, sweats, cough, and nasal problems. Couldn't work or go to school. He was sick for at least a week. He started to get better a few days ago, then his mother became sick. She was ill for 3 days, with the same symptoms as him. Only she started to find traces of blood in her saliva when she coughed. She went to the Doctor's a few days ago, and found that she had 3 kinds of lung infections. This morning I started to sneeze alot, feel congested, cough, fever, and aches. I have to work tomorrow, and I'm afraid to call in sick to work because my boss is a hard ***. But I don't want to run myself into the ground like my boyfriend and his mother. I don't want it to go as far as needing a doctor. What do I do?

My girlfriend is very sick and I'm afraid of our future, what should I do?

Dear she is sick so think about your present and take care of her while giving her enough love and support do exactly same that you expect from your loved one when you feel sick. These are the situation where relationship got tested and who passes it will become inseparable…

I’m afraid, being sick for a few months and bedridden has left my body wasted, but I’m a heavy woman I’m not sure. What can I look forward?

I went through medical tests and antibodies and radiation for a lymphoma. I’m not a lightweight, and I spent all of last winter in the house because of the snow, etc. I’m also 66. I started out going to the pool three times a week, at first I just walked in the water. Then I realized with my weight I have some natural buoyancy (no jokes, please). So I got a snorkel and goggles and started swimming laps, just for 30 minutes three times a week. Yesterday I joined the gym. I have an electric door unlock card, I can go whenever I want, I plan to go three times a week there too. I started out on a easy rowing machine. Then I did leg exercises, and ended up walking a quarter mile on a treadmill. I’m planning on doing this for the near future. Between swimming and going to the gym, I’m hoping I can get my stamina back, and at least be able to walk my dogs without my back hurting. You would probably enjoy it. I went to the gym and told the woman there about my physical problems, and she set me up with three machines that I could do easily to start out. And I can add one more machine every week if I want. They were very helpful. If I can do it, you can do it too.

I'm afraid of being single forever. What should I do to put myself out there?

It’s going to sound strange but… If you’re afraid of being single forever, then forget about being single. Don’t worry about it. Focus on other things. Don’t worry about finding anyone or “putting yourself out there”.But if you “must” do something, then, focus on you. Think of yourself as someone who’s considering dating you. What would you like about yourself? What would you hate about yourself? What part of you do you think you need to change?People always say, “I can’t find Mr.Right” or “I’ll never find the perfect woman?” When instead of finding these great people, they should be focusing on making themselves into Mr. Right or that perfect woman that people are looking for.I haven’t been single for longer than a week since 1987 or close to it. I’m not that “pretty” or a “Stud” of a guy. I actually have kind of an asshole personality, but I treat women fairly and I try to be good to them. And I do have a good sense of humor, that helps. In honesty, I’ve never looked for a girlfriend. It just kind of happens. I never have “tried” or felt the need to try.And that’s what I suggest to you, don’t try. Just live your live, concentrate on fixing any flaws you see in yourself, and it will come to you. Take it from a guy who’s been in “un-single” for over 30ish years almost continuously.

After being sick for over a year, I'm scared to draw and paint again and realise I can't do it as before. How can I beat this?

I passed this exact same issue last year or so, in late 2017 i started having some back and shoulders issues that stopped me completely from drawing and painting. It took me till November of 2018 to have the courage to draw again. Everytime i wanted to draw i felt like i forgot how to. After so many failed attempted i sat down and said 1 hour, thats it, i draw a portrait for one hour or die trying. 3 hours later..Since then, im drawing everyday. You just need one single drawing. From reference from photos from ur imagination just 1. Put a timer for 1 hour and draw like ur life depends on it.Trust me once you start, everything will come back to u. YOU CAN NOT forget how to draw, its like reading or writing. You wont forget it. You just get rusty.DO IT NOW as you are reading this, put that timer and go do it… dont make me bring Shia Labeouf into this! :DSalem Shanouha

Help, I'm feeling sick?

I don't know what's wrong with me. I just feel sick for no apparent reason! I feel kind of giddy and I'm afraid that I can faint any minute! I'm scared to look at myself in the mirror, 'cause I'm very pale and have dark shadows under my eyes. I can't do anything. Nothing excites me, I feel really weak and would just like to lie down somewhere and never get up again. I can't even read! And mind you, I love reading... I can't watch TV, I can't find the strength to do anything! I really need some suggestions what to do, 'cause I've got to go to college tomorrow, but I don't feel like I could go anywhere in this condition... Also, I'm a bit nauseous and I have a headache... I cannot concentrate... Do you have any idea what's wrong with me? I don't think it's a lack of sleep, 'cause I get enough sleep... So what's wrong with me?! Help, I'm afraid... Do you think it's some sort of illness?!!!

Are you scared to call in sick to work?

are you scared to call in sick to work?
NO...not if i am really sick.
you owe it to your employer and fellow employees to be honest and work as scheduled and if/when you ARE sick call in as early as possible, to make it easier to find a replacement for you.

the one thing that is worse then an employee calling out for their shift is the employee failing to do so as soon as they know they need to.
if you are sick and don't think you will be better by tomorrow then you need to call your employer NOW and let them know.

there is never a reason to be afraid to tell the truth................
