Im Doing An Art Prodject Any Ideas

What are some good ideas for art projects?

One thing that I’ve always thought would be an interesting art project would be to take regular people and dress them up as superheroes with paint. Like Lawyers, lay - workers, managers, technology works, students, and maybe law enforcement and charities. People who are doing some really good things in the world so to speak essentially.Take a picture of them in their regular garb in whatever they are doing striking heroic poses. Then take your photos and get them pigment printed (NOT INK PRINTED) on CMYK. Take those and make the prints as big as you can. Then put some acrylic emulsion on one side and do an acrylic transfer onto either canvas (which is already coated with emulsion as well) or canvas board.Once done properly you can then rub away the paper on the other side once it’s dried. This results in a correctly transferred and picture perfect acrylic print onto your canvas which you can then paint on-top of wherever however you please. With that in mind then paint away making your superheroes of common people. The idea being that these people in many cases are more heroes than even the ones we immortalize daily from comics. It would be a cool nod and you could dress them up however, they felt they wanted to be represented. While the art might look cheesy it would definitely have a cool vibe to it.

Art exam project... imaginary land ! any ideas? ?

Ooh that's fun! Lemme see if I can help.

For the unusual building:
A giant toy of some sort, elf shoe, Christmas present, etc that has a door and windows...

For the imaginary creatures.. I know reindeer aren't imaginary, but flying ones are :D A snow angel? snowman?

Trees covered in bells, tree made of presents, tree of ribbons, an upside down christmas tree (lol), tree covered in or made of stars...

That's all I can think of right now. Good luck :)

Expressing my feminism through art project, ideas?

In my photography class, we were asked an introductory question to center our next project around: What would you never give up? I answered it saying that I'd never give up my feminism (both literally and ideally, with my feminist beliefs and everything).

I already know the pose I'm going to do (I saw it on a Lilith magazine, a shot of a painting or statue woman focused from a side angle, her head turned to the right, exposing only from the end of her nose to the very upper half of her chest, around the whole collar bone, neck and shoulder) and I've got the female gender symbol, but what else can I add to the picture that will make the feminist theme absolutely clear? Or at least more thought-provoking, historic and deep rather than just the female gender symbol...

Any ideas would be great, I'm looking up more on my own....thanks!

How do artists come up with projects/ideas for artwork?

There is absolutely no easy way explain this. Each artist is driven by their own unique set of nuances that propel or inspire them. There are some artist who are linear thinkers, who need fact and references to guide their work. There are intuitive makers who simply allow the hand to work faster than the head can comprehend or second guess. And then there are artists, like me, who are a combination of the two.I will study a topic, creating an outline of a piece of work. Reasons for the motivation behind a piece, it’s background, it’s underlying symbolism, ways in which I believe it will be interpreted. I will sketch images and compositions to mentally gauge how to tackle and dissect a piece… but, when it comes it actually creating, I am completely intuitive. This sounds like an oxymoron, but for most artists their craft is second nature, like a second skin. Unless I am doing something completely new, I don’t have to be conscious of the process when I’m working because it has become a part of my muscle memory. As far as inspiration… there is absolutely no answer that I believe would be sufficient. To ask where an idea comes from is to ask an artist to completely dissect and purge their inner subconscious. Those parts of ourselves that we are aware of, but don’t fully comprehend. I guess… maybe that IS why we create. A tangible attempt at understanding and manifesting the subconscious. But, again… I don’t believe this answer to be sufficient.

Any good ideas on a 3d art project about the Holocaust?

(1) Star of David
(2) paper mache
(3) construction paper
(4) tooth picks, straws, ice cream sticks
(5) figurines

you can make a miniature museum or something by putting in there what happened in the holocaust. the sticks could be the concentration camp jail bars.

Art History extended project ideas?

Hi :)

I'm doing a qualification called the Extended Project with AQA. This is a 5000 word essay on a topic of my choice. I plan to study History of Art at university, so am doing my project on this. My current list of titles is:

- Fauvism
- Medici patronage in Renaissance Florence
- Art after trauma (e.g after the Holocaust and looking at artists such as Frida Kahlo)
- Women Impressionist painters
- Representation of women in Pre-Raphaelite art
- The legacy of Manet's "Le Dejeuner Sur L'herbe."

What do you think of these? And do you have any other suggestions? They would be very welcomed :) Thanks.

I'm creating a Greek goddess for a project. Any ideas on a name?

My world history and geography teacher assigned a project to create our own god or goddess. My goddess is going to be the goddess of musical theatre, regret, forgiveness, charity, and art. I have no idea what to name her. Any help?

Also, we have to tell a story about our goddess. Any ideas about the storyline or events that took place to get her to be a goddess? I need to explain why she is the goddess of musical theatre, regret, forgiveness, charity, and art too! Any help at all would be great. (:
