How can I convince my mom to let me go to the prom after party?
My Junior prom ends at eleven, and my mom insists on picking me up just as it ends, but as you all know, the prom after-party is a tradition, and I need a GOOD PLAN to convince, my mom to let me go. (I'm going to be 17 but can't drive.) This is seriously going to be like the second party I've been to this entire year because all of the other parties I had been invited to, were "too far away" according to my mom. She always finds some reason not to let me go to anything. I can't even get my drivers permit until this summer. I really want to go and hang out with my freinds, and the party is supposed to be awesome. But, no matter what I say, she thinks that it'll be "too wild". PLUS: Get this, the prom is on my 17th birthday, and she still won't let me go to the party afterwards. PLEASE PLEASE, I am in desperate need of a plan, and some clever wording to change her mind into letting me go.

Talk with your mom. Sit down and have a serious conversation, stay calm and take your time and DO NOT GET UPSET. Ask questions like: I would like to go out with my friends, since you do not let me, I would like to know why? Try and figure out what it is and why she won't let you out. Try and meet her in the middle ground, and lay down some rules. Earn more "trust", even if you think she should trust you completely. It also sounds like your mom cares for you and wants to protect you, which makes her sound like a good person. Be thankful, but being a teenager, you should be allowed more freedom. Many times, parents act like children, sometimes it is up to the "kids" to act like the "adults". It may take a while, but try and take small steps, earn her trust. Sneaking out, breaking curfew or make her upset, will only cause you more troubles. Best of luck.

If you do though (I'm not telling you to have sex and for him to stick his penis up our vagina), I suggest to tell your mom that you're going on a walk, walk to the end of the street (around the corner) and tell your cheater to meet you there. Family is fighting over kids birthday party.. NEED ADVICE?
Okay my family is driving me crazy! My son is turning 3 this year and we were planning on having it at my dads house, im only having 1 party. I went out bought all the decorations, invites, etc.. well my mother called and asked if i was having 2 parties i told her no she can come to this one like everyone else.. well since they fight like cats and dogs my mom suggested an alternate location for the party, i told her i couldnt afford it so she said she would pay for the party as long as it was away from my fathers house so she could go. well now that made my father and step mother mad and they are throwing fits now.. its like everything is a mad house and i dont know what to do, id like the party at a fun party place but i dont want to hurt my step mom and dads feelings.. what should i do?
Would you let your 13 year old daughter (almost 14) go to a boys house.?
I have a friend who is a boy and I wanted to hang out with him. I asked my mom if I could go over his house and she said no simply because he was boy. I know where she's coming from but I am very responsible with the stuff she's worried about. I would never let him touch me or anything. My mom will never let me go to my friends parties if there are boys at them. I mean my friends mom would be watching us the whole time and i'd check iin with her hourly. So would you let your 13 year old daughter go over a boys house WHO IS JUST HER FRIEND?
