Average specs of a gaming computer.?

OK I want to play world of warcraft, and team fortress 2 for the PC but my computer is like 6 years old and slow as hell. I'm looking at computers but don't know what one will run those 2 games smoothly. Please tell me the specs of a mid-class gaming computer and the average price. If you need additional info post it and I will add it. Thanks

Should I pursue computer science if I am bad at math?

I think I can speak to this.  In high school, I hated Math, thought it was "useless" and spent most of my time in math class sleeping in the back because I surfed all morning.  I went to Geometry (very low), and actually had to retake it in the summer because my teacher hated me (my excuse).  I cruised through GE classes at my local community college, but then decided to transfer to private college in San Diego and take things seriously.  I had to pay for school myself so I thought long and hard about picking a major that would help me pay off my school debt, and it was Computer Science.  I never coded in my life, but I "loved computer games" and "knew my way around PC's."CS 100 was a real wake up call.  It was extremely difficult for me to pick up programming, especially with most of my classmates who were apparently coding from the womb.  I spent a lot of time in tutoring.  I spent a lot of time with my Professor.  Halfway through the semester I really began to enjoy programming and worked really hard in the class, and I believe maintained a B. Math was a different story, I was thrown into Calculus, Algebra 2, etc with no real knowledge at all.  I struggled greatly, but I was determined to learn and I spent pretty much every day in tutoring.  I squeaked through with C's in my Math classes but I did it!  Getting really great teachers in the subjects really helped me through the learning curve.Fast Forward, I started with 100+ students in CS, and graduated with 5.  I've been a developer ever since, and make great living.  I don't use say, calculus or algebra on a daily basis, but use the concepts and problem solving that I learned daily.  I hope this helps and good luck!

What advice would you give to a Computer Science major student that you wish you were given when you started learning Computer Science?

Never rely on your education only. Classes are can sometimes be too bland or too theoretical. A lot of CS programs don't even teach what you will do working in the industry.Take Math and problem solving seriously. You use the same skills in programming every day.Focus on the big picture generally - learn the big concepts of computer science, don't get caught up in language specific details.Polish your communication skills. Never excuse yourself to not be social and outgoing because you are a 'computer science nerd'.Work on a balanced healthy lifestyle in eating and exercising. Do not give the excuse again of 'I'm a computer science nerd'.Work on side projects/other interests. The best programmers don't only program. They learn about other topics they are interested in. Programming/Computer science is only a tool like writing or speaking; it must be applied to some area. Forget GPA. Keep above a 3.0 or 3.5 if you must. Work on programming Go to hackathons. Two points for this - socializing, networking, working on projects.Always try and apply for things you don't think you are qualified for. Do not skip out on the career fair, especially if you are a freshman. Be informed of programs like Google Engineering Practicum and Google Summer of Code.Talent is overrated as always. Think of the best programmer you know. A year of hard work can put you on their level.Start competitive programming as early as possible. Master one programming language for interviews.Concepts in computer science aren't mastered in one go. Repetition is important. Consider being a TA for a class. Patience is key to intuition.Have an online presence and blog.Work on hot area topics. Make some apps in data science, machine learning, computer vision, or map reduce just for experience.Work on a fast breadth-first search rather than a fast depth-first search. Do research. Then work for a big company. Then work for a startup. Then work on nonprofits/open source.
