Im on Dean Health insurance and My new Doctore says I have to do random drug test If i want my medication. Is this True?

I'm suspecting that by "medication", you mean narcotics. If so, then yes they can. It's getting more & more common due to the abuse by dopers.

Will insurance drug test me if I'm under age?

they cannot drug test you unless; you are applying for a job or for insurance and submit to it. Don’t take the test and don’t get the job or any insurance. lf you have a job that requires it. You are under some type of legal or job probation that requires it. You are in an accident and the employer and/or the insurance requires it. You are brought to the emergency room acting funny or are incompetent and they need to know what is really going on and they won’t ask you for permission. So why do you think they are going to test you?

Why do health insurance premiums more than double when adding a spouse or child?

The other answers offer reasonable explanations. Another contributing factor may be the frequency the young male goes to the doctor before his marriage and baby and post the two events. It is plausible that the young man with added responsibilities and increased exposure to the health care system from use by his wife and child, may become more health conscious and use the insurance more. Thus, in addition to the increased health care costs of his wife and child, the young man himself may generate higher claims than before marriage. On a partially related situation, I remember several years ago, when I noticed my health care premium spike one year, I asked the insurance agent why. I was in a small group plan, which at the time included self employed people meeting certain criteria. I recall that the agent said that independent consultants tended to use the health care system intensively. We did not discuss why, but the key point was that certain types of individuals (even of the same age) may have appreciable variations in their use of health care and insurance.

How do you find your health insurance policy number?

Health insurance is a contract between you and your insurance provider offering coverage against the medical expenses for any kind of serious injury, sickness or accident. The benefits of insurance policies are administered by central organizations or private agencies.Health care is costly, and the insurance provider serves you for the expense cover-ups for the doctor’s visit or emergency situations. There are many types of insurance policies to choose; either you can opt for individual purpose or a group policy. At the time of policy purchase, your insurance providers generate a unique identification number similar to your account number. It is used for your personal identification during the billing process. It also helps your providers to find out the specific details about the claims and benefits offered on your policy. An insurance card is offered to you with your unique policy number and other details are printed on the front side of it. Various insurance companies have different types of card as per their policy. If you hold an insurance policy, the last two digits might end with 00, while for others on the same policy might have numbers ending with 01, 02, etc. Moreover, if your insurance policy is employer insured, then you have a group insurance. You'll have a group ID number on your insurance card different to your individual policy number. The group ID number will be the same for everyone who participates in the insurance plan. However, your insurance card is vital for you with the policy ID number. In any case, you lose the card then you need to inform your insurance company.Meanwhile, if you schedule a doctor’s visit or take any medical facility, the office will need to contact the insurance provider directly to get the information about your insurance policy or plan.

My parents want me to become a doctor. But I don't.?

I'm a 14 year old girl, and I'm a freshman in high school. I am Vietnamese, and both of my parents are Vietnamese, too. The problem is that every time I get not-so-good grades, they have to go like "YOU HAVE TO EARN GOOD GRADE TO BECOME A DOCTOR". If I don't get the most perfect grades, do you want to know what I do? I keep on trying and doing my best. I always try to ask for help, as much as possible. But my parents don't understand that I'm not perfect, and all they care about is me being a doctor, and getting the money. I am NOT interested in health at ALL. I don't like seeing blood, treating diseases, etc. I am interested in the arts, and music. Music inspires me, but my parents expect me to be the most perfect child and become a doctor. Every time I tell them that I don't want to become a doctor, they just have the need to argue back. I just don't know what to do anymore.

And I'm not sure if I put this in the right category, but you get my point.

What can i do to clean my system out for a drug test in 3 days???

Being a heavy smoker it's not going to be easy. It looks like you've already done some research and know that if you're an occasional smoker it can take as little as a few days for your system to get clean, but for heavy smokers most people say 21-35 days (I had a friend who wasn't clean for over 3 months).

I can't say that I've ever personally talked to anyone whom drinking juice and other random concoctions worked. I highly suggest not attempting to drink the bleach.

Hopefully you're fairly fit and have a hard-working metabolism... If so, you should be fine with drinking a lot of water. You can however drink so much water that you can kill yourself due to a lack of salts in your blood (or something like that, I'm not a doctor)

I personally know someone who has taken several drug tests and passed (even for the military) without ever quitting occasional use of marijuana. If you smoke occasionally and realized that you have a test a few days after smoking you may want to follow his plan: (If you smoke a lot and have a test coming up, this just might work in that situation too.)

1. Drink tons of water.
2. Run a few miles.
3. Drink more water.
4. Take a couple niacin pills and get ready for your skin to feel like it's burning. Continue drinking water.
5. Feel great after the niacin flushes your system.
6. Repeat daily until the day of the test.
7. Drink a ton of water when you wake up (Pee several times)
8. Take a multi-vitamin or two before driving to the test.
9. Continue drinking water until you feel like you're going to explode while waiting for the test.
10. Take the test: Make sure the urine sample you give is mid-stream. (THC lvls are higher at the beginning and end of the stream)

Do mental health workers get tested for drug use?

Very much dependent on where you work. If you work for a government agency, you betcha you’ll have a tox screen. If you work with children for a government agency, count on a tox screen and an FBI background check.I’m retired now and recently went to a job interview. There was a pool of 8 young men, most in college, looking for winter break work, and me, 30 years older with a lengthy work history. One guy (in school to teach elementary ed) said, “I NEVER apply for jobs that require tox screens. I mean, who DOESN’T use drugs?”I sat with my mouth hanging open, and didn’t say, “Most employees, at least long enough to get hired for a job.”Added to the uncertainty is that many states are in the process of removing MJ from their tox screens, as it’s legal in a growing number of states. What they REALLY don’t want to find is that you use opiates. meth or cocaine. Tox screens I did on my patients also screened how much of the drug the patient has used, as it’s critical when a patient is in detox to know if s/he’s loaded up with benzos or has been taking methadone. Benzo and alcohol withdrawal are potentially fatal, so high numbers on a patient are cause for additional checks to be made so that a patient withdraws safely.

Do I need to carry my health insurance card on my person?

Yes you should!  And as one ad say, 'Don't leave home without it!'.  Like an identification card, you should have your insurance card on your person at all times.  Too many times I have seen patients arrive for a doctor's appointment or to the Emergency Room (ER) without their card and when asked to produce it, states 'It is in the (computer) system'.  Some believe that once information that they are insured is in cyber world, every health care provider has access to that information.  My friend that is furthest from the truth.  Though this the dream of President Obama,  such a lofty ideas have not come to fruition.  Some hospitals have the ability to access that information if they purchase special software to do so, but not all do, it is a very expensive investment. Let's say you have to go to the ER and you don't have your card nor are you in the state of mind to inform them that you are insured. Sad to say, and a little in-house dirty secret, not all the test that would have been 'routinely' administered you would be given.  Referral to an outpatient facility is often given once you are discharged.  Yes patient are treated irrespective of their ability to pay when visiting the ER, but they are not 'treated' the same. Another thing, if you are treated and you are directly billed by the provider for their services, it is months of headache to get that bill sorted and squared away with the provider and your health insurance company.

I took one small hit off a joint a month ago and took a hair drug test yesterday am i going to pass or fail?

They can trace that **** back to 20 years dude. You're ******.

Do shrooms show up on urine drug tests?

It depends on the test. I have to do a urine drug test every week and the standard test (even though there are other tests with less or more pannels) is testing for the presence of methadone, opiates, cocaine, methamphetamines, benzos, marijuana and pcp. The test comes in two forms, there's one that requires you to urinate in a cup and a flat plasic square containing the seven separate tests is dipped into it and the more modern test which is a lot more widely used that requires you to urinate in a plastic jar with a panel at the front with the tests on it, once you've given your sample the lid is clicked into place and the tester pushes a plastic cap into a hole in the side breaking the seal and activating the test. The reason the second one is used more often nowadays because as well as testing for drugs it tells the tester the temperature of the urine so people can't have someone else give them a sample to use in advance. If the temperature is off a lot of the time you will be expected to give a second sample under supervision. The test itself works the same way as a pregnancy test with a test line and a control line, so if you get two lines on any of the strips it means it's positive and if you get one line it shows the test is working properly and it's negative. These types of tests are used in methadone clinics, prisons, social services for women who have had children taken into care and to get them back they need to prove they're clean for a certain length of time before they can get them back or pregnant women with a history of addiction to prove they're not using while pregnant and in certain jobs where you have to agree to mandatory random drug tests. However you can get individual test strips for more or less any drug and if the reason you're being tested is that you're suspected of using a specific drug that isn't on the standard test, for example if your company has reason to believe you've been using shrooms or LSD there's a chance they'll administer the standard test then the separate test strip for whatever drug they suspect you of using
