Im Playing Re Operation Raccoon City And Its Having Me Repeat Mission

What scene in a video game made you immediately stop playing it?

Final Fantasy VII. There's a cut scene in the middle of the game where the main hero and another member of your party meets up with the Boss that you will eventually fight at the end of the game. If you've played the game, you know which one I'm talking about.SPOILER ALERTSephiroth kills Aeris in the cut scene. Dead. Can't play with her in your party anymore. This was in the late 90s, so spoilers really weren't out there in the ‘net. I had played a lot of RPGs in the past including all the Final Fantasy games before this one. I did not see this coming and was not prepared for it when it came. I literally sat there, slack-jawed, refusing to believe what I saw. I kept waiting for the twist…surely she wasn't really dead. Cloud brings her back somehow, right? Or she has another ability we don't know about that keeps her alive, that we'll be able to use going forward in the game. No, she's really dead. What did I do wrong? I made a wrong choice in the cut-scene dialog. Reset. I'll chose the other option this time. Dead again. Went down the same way. Maybe I just have to wait. An hour. Two. I think I ate and came back to the TV. Still where I left it. I left my console on all night with the TV turned off. Woke up, turned it back on… right where I left it. Pressed the button to proceed, and got this message (or something like it)Please insert disc 2 and press X to continue.I couldn't. I didn't. I ended up walking away and starting the game over a few months later. But I was paralyzed when I first saw that scene. It was the first time I abandoned a story-based game like that and I'll never forget how I felt.

What are some slang terms used among police officers?

The most derogatory terms for the bad guys and citizens who are just pains in the rectum:A.H. = Adam Henry (A-dam H-enry) If you don’t get it…..sometimes you will hear it as “Jack Hole”…..now what starts with an “A” that ends with HOLE ?RICHARD CRANIUM= What starts with a “D” and is a nickname for Richard ? What is the non-medical layman’s term for the Cranium ? Do these clues HEAD you in the right direction ?

What is the best thing your parents have done for you?

Adopt me.My biological mother abused cocaine to cope with her mental issues and rheumatoid arthritis. My biological father struggled with mental illness as well as physical limitations due to screws he had put in his knees. My siblings and I were 5 (brother), 3 (me), and 1 (sister) at the time my father’s mother and stepfather took us in. It was only supposed to be temporary, until my mother got clean, or my father picked up the pieces my mother left.Months turned to years, and my father was a pizza deliverer, while my mom got clean. She ended up making a new life for herself, and had a child with another man. My siblings and I remained under the care of our grandparents. They did their best to raise us, but we had been traumatized, abandoned, subjected to crack houses, and neglected while with our biological parents. We all struggled with mental issues ourselves, and the generational gap often made it hard for our grandparents to understand us. However, that didn’t stop them from trying. In 2009, my brother was 13, I, 11, and my sister 9. That was the year my grandparents decided to adopt us. The situation with our biological parents had stagnated long ago, and my grandparents thought it best to accept the finality of their raising us to completion. Thus, our birth certificates were changed to reflect what had been a reality since 2001, but no one had been ready to admit. My siblings and I refer to our grandparents as Nanny and Paw, and our parents as Mom and Dad. Fundamentally, however, Nanny and Paw have always been our Mom and Dad. They fed, clothed, and gave us shelter. They kissed our boo-boos, patched our scraped knees, and did their very best to heal our wounded hearts. They raised us into the empathetic, articulate, and respectable young adults we are today. The greatest thing our parents have ever done for us is simply, to parent us.
