I want to make youtube videos but im scared about friends finding out ?

I had the same problem when I started. A friend of mine makes videos and she kept it a secret. After hesitating I showed only one of my friends one part of a video. She didn't think it was weird. THEN in choir two of my friends were like we saw you on youtube!! They typed in justin bieber and one of my videos came up(I do beauty and sing). They didn't think it was weird either. If you don't want to tell them don't. Eventually someone may find out, but don't be embarrassed. If you really like making videos it shouldn't matter

I get bullied at school because i make youtube videos?

Hey, my name is Callie, i'm 12 and live in the UK. I am a daily user of youtube and one day wanted to start making my own videos. I had an old channel that i still check now and then, but i stopped uploading there because i got bullied at school for the videos i made. So i made a new channel and made music videos and beauty tutorials. These 2 girls in the year above me don't bother me anymore, but, they still hate me i can tell by how they stand deliberately in the middle of the corridor so i can't get past, look at me and pull faces. So now they don't say anything but the word about my Youtube channel seems to get around a lot and it makes me feel like they talk about me. Also, in the upper year there's this boy and now he seems to tease me about my videos too. He thinks he's really hard because he's popular with the girls and the boys but i really don't think he's that hard. Anyway he still scares me and everyday i walk past him i'm scared of his new reactions to my videos. He would say things like 'Ooooh Callie, i love your videos.' In a sarcastic voice. And now everyone in the upper year seems to not like me, but i don't understand what they have a problem about? I've never done anything to them, it seems they just find a target and go for it. To all you reading this and is bullied in any kind of way, then honey i am extremely sorry, honestly i know how you feel.

Also my family think they're just jealous, but I'm not convinced. Help?!

I'm worried people from my school will find my youtube videos?

Hi! So I'm 15, and a few weeks ago, I made a yotuube account. I started doing makeup tutorials, and I've got almost 500 subs. I know it's nothing compared to the bigger guru's, but I am still pretty new on youtube. I'm worried people from my school will find my video?
Any tips? If they do find them, what should I say to them so they don't bully me

A couple years ago, I was introduced to the Youtube 'beauty' community and I've always been really interested in making DIY fashion videos and just making videos but I never did because I don't want people to make fun of me. I'm 14 years old and this upcoming school year I will be a freshman. I'm already really nervous about making new friends and if people found out I don't want it to prevent people from actually trying to get to know me. I'm afraid guys will think it's stupid, and the past school year a fellow classmate made videos on Youtube ( comedy/skit videos, different from the type i'm interested in ) and he was always teased for it. Hummmm….What you could try is going under a pseudonym. So adopt a name like Angela Smith or Pete Brown or some other name. Check white pages for ideas. Get a new email account for only your youtube activity. Make sure this email is not used for your regular business activities but just for your youtube account under your pseudonym.Ensure that this contact information is shared only with the cosplay friends and cosplay community. Unless it is directly to do with cosplay then really you don’t want your information given out.Remember that haters are going to hate. You have got the right to practice your creativity in private in all honesty no one has to know. You also have the right to display it. You could try initially doing a few videos and seeing how they look. Remember you get better with practice. Look at what other people do and learn from them. When you feel confident enough then post. If you are not that confident run it past a couple of people who do make videos and see what Constructive critiques they can give.Remember that haters are going to hate. Why do guys watch my beauty videos on youtube?

I used to make fitness videos and a lot of guys watched them. I started making beauty and fashion videos and THEY STILL WATCH THEM! It's really annoying because I'm scared that they're all perverts. I know that it sounds weird but there were 2 perverts watching me and I blocked both of them. I have some girls watching them too, but I bet that they are just my friends from school. PLEASE tell me how I can get GIRLS to watch them and get RID OF THE GUYS!!! And btw THE GUYS ARE 35-44 AND 45-54 MAINLY. PLEASE HELP ME!!

I’m scared to upload on YouTube again because of what people from my school will think. How can I just be myself?

In two words: Stop CaringIt doesn't matter what other people think so don't measure your success based on that. Enjoy what you make, enjoy making it and ignore the rest. Don't put your happiness on the back burner to satisfy some ignorant punk kids. YouTube could literally change your life. Or, it could give you some enjoyment and experience until you find the next thing. Either way, do what makes you happy and tell everyone else to eat dirt!!

If you want to start a YouTube channel then I’d reccomend you to do so. No regrets!Trust me, I’ve deleted MULTIPLE YouTube channels throughout the years because I was so embarrassed when kids at school found out. Both channels combined for a total subscriber count of 3,000. I mustered up the courage to make my channel, but crumbled as soon as it was spread around that I was making silly little YouTube videos during my spare time. I wish I could have told myself that there judgements weren’t even as harsh as I was making them out to be. My insecurities got the best of me, but I don’t want yours to stop you from making your own channel that you might really enjoy.I have a YouTube channel Jon & Ange, that I grew from using feedback I got from the subreddit NewTubers. I climbed back up again to 600 subscribers and I couldn’t be more proud. This time around, my friends and family found out about my channel at 200 Subs. Before I knew it, people were already throwing playful jabs here and there, posting my videos on their snapchats and whatnot. I would be lying if I told you I wasn’t embarrassedc but if I stopped there then I wouldn’t have gotten the chance to gain 400 new subscribers.Sorry for being so long winded in my answer, I can get carried away sometimes. I want to start a YouTube channel but I'm scared I'll be judged at school. What should I do?

I’ll take this opportunity to tell you what happened when I set mine up during early high school. I had one video up from a while back but decided to focus on gaming, Minecraft being the easiest option. Did little bits and bobs here and there, didn’t get a series going till a while later. At the time, most of the guys at school couldn’t care less. My best friends were always commenting what I could do better (not necessarily nicely) but aside from that I didn’t hear boo from anyone. My two biggest problems were actually things I did:1: I took it super serious and was waiting on a “breakthrough” video to boost me up to Tobuscus or Pewdiepie levels of fame. Not happening, no way. Treat it as a hobby, nothing more.2: I had my school/YouTube way out of whack. I spent maybe 2 to 3 hours a night planning, recording, editing, exporting and uploading weekly videos at my peak of activity. Not only was that time that, with hindsight, would have been much better spent on homework, but parts of it began to feel like chores. Keep your balance right, make sure you’re enjoying it, and put school first. There’s a better chance of getting somewhere with school than YouTube.While I’m not trying to scare you, my approach to YouTube partially lead to me leaving school early and pursuing a trade certificate. That said, my YouTube is now connected to another of my hobbies and things are going well on that front.Good luck with your channel, and remember that it’s your channel. Making you happy should be priority number 1 :)

What is an appropriate age to start a YouTube channle?

Well I know YouTube is for everyone but younge people (like at the ages of 16 or lower) get made fun of all the time because there so younge and people would comment on there videos telling them to get off the Internet and calling them little kids and disliking there videos because there so young. Well I'm only 15 and I really want to start a YouTube channle for gaming (let's plays, walkthroughs etc etc) but I'm scared because I think I'm to younge to start one and I'm afraid that people might think I'm to to young to start one.
So what is the right age to start a YouTube channel?
