What is your most embarrassing moment in front of the whole class or in front of your teacher?
It was when my teacher supported me and I insulted her.I am a 91 born kid. Hence, my childhood obviously had a fantasy to own a nice “Hero Pen” and I had my precious one too.Pen looked something like thisThat day, in my class, I saw my pen missing and was totally pissed off.I got mad at everyone, I saw every friend, every class mate as a brutal culprit.I had my anger rushing so much that, I interrupted the lesson half way by raising my hand to spoof her asking for a doubt, stood up in front of everyone and this happened.ME : “Miss!! Someone stole my pen and I really like that pen a lot. I definitely want it back. Without which, I dont like to do any homework “MISS: “You should have kept it at home and forgotten..! Do you want to interrupt the lesson for your pen? Ramya…We shall deal with this later...…Now…Sit down!”ME: “No Miss! It went missing only in this class. So whoever had stolen it will surely be here and I want it back from them”MISS: “ How do you know that someone stole it?”ME: “Miss..I am the only one who owns such a pen. Everybody is jealous of me. Sure someone took it!”MISS : “Okay! Do you want to check the bags of your classmates now??”My teacher being kind and supportive approved me for my pen search warrant.Wasting the whole of English class, I, like a CID officer, sneaked in everybody’s bag and searched for my pen. (my class strength was 32 ).Alas! The vast search of my class mates bag was over and I still couldn’t find my pen.ME: “Miss! I am still not able to find my pen!”MISS: “Mm..I see you have checked every bag of others and have you checked your bag?ME : “Miss…..ss..sss….! ”MISS: “Let me have your bag checked. Bring it here!”That was when the most supportive teacher of mine, searched my bag and saw a interior zip of my bag had my pen popping out.She took it out,showed me and the class, the so claimed lost pen, holding high.She definitely had an angry look upon me for having wasted the whole class.Two of my eyes went round and round in astonishment for a moment, for a billion times when I searched it was not there and suddenly how did that come?And, I was finally embarrassed in front of whole class like thisP.S: I, was given a punishment to complete 10 extra pages in my hand writing note book :(

Classical Music that will entertain my immature teenage mind?
Wow.. Thank you so much.. I can't even tell you how grateful I am for all these suggestions. I will certainly be looking into all the links posted and all the composers suggested. I guess I'm just a little intimidated. The amount of music out there just bombards me. It's hard to find a good place to start. Like amirpaca said the jargon is a bit overwhelming too.. I still don't know what an opus is. It would all be so easy if I could just speak to each one of you face to face. Oh, also to amirpaca, I always knew I loved this one song from Pagliacci, but I couldn't remember its name. I had been searching for that song for months to no avail. Then along you come and save the day. The song I was searvhing for was "Vesti la Giubba" Before I listened to it, I tried to get into some kind of a mindset that would prepare me for it like you suggested. I just want you to know that I got goosebumps. I even teared up a bit once it got to that one intense part. Thank you so much.
Why does my voice sound beautiful when I sing, but when recorded, it sounds horrible?
An element worth noting in all of this is that you may be tuning your voice to what you're hearing, rather than to the acoustic of the room. When you sing, a certain percentage of the sound that you hear in real time is heard through bone, which can distort things. You may need to retrain your singing to ignore the effect of the bone, because it could be throwing you off.There's a cool trick that I love for doing this without having to record yourself all the time. Put your hand on each side up to the tragus of your ear (that little cartilage flap that's right on top of the ear opening) on each side. Put your hand there in the same position as though you were karate chopping, if that makes sense (but, obviously, gently). Then curve your fingers so that they outline the rest of your ear. You should look kind of like you're giving yourself Mickey Mouse ears if you're doing it right. Now try to speak. And try to sing, for that matter. Your voice should sound different but not THAT different. This is a pretty good approximation of what you sound like to people who aren't you. It's also a useful tool for where you should be recording your voice. Walk into a recording studio that you're thinking about using (or a room you're thinking of recording in), and try this out. If you don't feel good about the acoustic, record somewhere else!
My cat make a strange sound while looking out the window?
Its hard to discribe exatcly what it is. I have never heard anything like it before. Its like a whine that skips over and over. He always looks so sad while doing it. And it only happens in the morning while he is looking out the window. I also noticed that he is looking up at the tree in my front yard while he is doing this. When I adopted him at 5 months they said he had been a stray. He is now 2 and this behaviour just started a few weeks ago. Since he was adopted he has been an indoor cat with no attempts to go outside. He LOVES the windows open only as long as there is a screen between him and the outside. I tried to take him out today when he made this sound. Once he got over the sniffing of the house he jumped up for me to hold him. I took him over to the tree. He looked interested for a moment then jumped out of my arms, ran to the door and tried to claw his way back in. Yet he's still making that strange noise at the window. I need to know whats going on

To canoots"-- I got a good LOL from your reply. ;D I never said I was beautiful. In fact, my body is boringly flat and skinny, and my face is only "average". I'm not superficial, nor do I judge folks on how attractive they are. The only reason for my Fergie question, is because I had just heard/read of a BUNCH of people who all thought Fergie was one of the most hot/attractive/beautiful/pretty women on the planet, and I was just so astonished that I had to see if I was the only one who finds her facial features so UNattractive, displeasing and mean looking. The replies below prove I'm defininitely NOT the only one. *grin*
Funny concert moments?
This is place where you can share your funny concert moments and read each other's and mine! Soooo I have a curse of being in the front row and getting hit by the band by accident. The singer of I Am Ghost basically punched me in the face and apologized profusely when I talked to him later. The bass player of.... I think it was a band called Schoolyard Heroes, the bass player/frontman smacked the top of my skull with his bass peg and I knocked him out of tune. At the end of the song he goes "Hey you. I expect an apology for knocking my bass out of tune with your skull. Just kidding, sorry for bruising your head" I had a drumstick from... I think it was Madina Lake bounce off my face. And have been randomly hit in the head by the band at many random shows. Anyway, those are my funny moments of cursenage (that's a word now) What are some interesting concert moments you've had?
