I'm confused about my style. Any advice?

I think we're quite similar to each other. This is how I deal with it: I wear the style that I feel like wearing at different times. If you ask me what's my style, my answer would be "Variety".
You see, it's natural for females to like feminine clothes no matter how tomboyish they might be (well, I'm not saying that those who don't like feminine clothese are abnormal though, don't get me wrong). I told someone I knew about this matter that both of us are facing, and that person said that I'm a "lady with a refined taste & class". Well, I don't really know what to say about that comment though...
If you still prefer to have a "consistent" look, I would suggest you'd add an edge to your outfit coordinates, eg. Pair feminine clothes with accessories that are less lady-like, and vice versa. All the best :)

Im confused about my style?

Okay, so basically in 2 years ago I was a "scene" kid (I ******* hate labels but for the sake of time...) and I changed into a prep, aeropostale, abercombie the whole bunch. Then I started wearing skirts and sweaters (I know wtf) and then I started wearing like Hipster clothes.(Oxfords, floral, high waisted skirts with collared shirts and sailor ties) and then I meant my best friend Jamie and she inspired me to be "scene" again.. (I was gradually turning into it anyways, jeans, tee's, my hair was two colors and had the "scene cut". I've always had that bursty personality, the unicorn love, and the rainbow loving things. I have a boyfriend now and he basically loves sceney girls. I feel as though the clothes I wear are what I am comfortable in and that I don't want to change. and then I get these thoughts that "wow, what if I just changed for jamie and I am really unoriginal and really a prep in disguise". I've never liked preppy people and that's what scares me. I never consider myself scene and don't aim for the style, but I am sterotyped as that so basically I was using that for the sake of time. Do you think I am a prep in disguise? I hate aeropostale, and I no longer care for hipster clothes, it like makes me really sad.

I'm starting a fashion brand and I'm confused about the name. Finally I selected Pinkdiamond & WomenHQ. Can you tell me which one is good and why?

According to me womenHQ is better than pinkdiamond. But i would suggest try to think something different. Hmm this is your brand u cant change it after this, so be sure about ur decision…This is my first ans. So if there is any mistake forgive me

What is the difference between 60s and 70s fashion styles?

The 60s were the decade that the requirements that women wear skirts all almost exclusively when outside of her house and the idea that wearing a hat (a real hat, like a fedora) went away. Think of all the stereotypical 50s clothes - the sixties killed it. The sexual, feminist, and civil rights revolutions helped create a society that was much more casual in its every day dress.

The hippie era was the mid-late 60s, when activism against social injustice and the war in Vietnam led a significant portion of the young adult population from around the world to question and reject their parents strictures and morals, and clothing reflected that to a certain degree.

The 70s saw the 'new' 60s fashions become mainstream, with the colors and exact hemlines/colors changing like they do now. Clothing such as jeans and flannel shirts became common for both men and women. An economic downturn in the 70s had an effect a lot like that of the early 90s, when bands like Nirvana saw their style copied all over the place

Disco music in clubs brought back the sequin and flash, along with dresses for women and suits for men, often in polyester (it was new, so cool).

Try watching movies and tv shows set in those decades. Make sure the movies are SET there, not just made. Grease is set in the 50s, but was made in the 70s, for example. Try American Grafitti for early 60s, Woodstock (or the new Taking Woodstock) for late 60s. Saturday Night Fever and Dazed and Confused for the 70s.

Has anyone seen the new one-arm-out-of-shirt style?

i dunno, but it sounds so stupid...why would you do that?

I'm confused between fashion designing and counselling psychology. I love style and fashion but I'd love to study psychology and help. What do I do?

It's all upto you. If you like practical work then go for fashion. Fashion is beyond just sketching. It’s about putting your new idea on paper in form of flat sketch and then going out buying stuff, then get it made. Then even work is not done, you will have to sell it. You need to make huge investement to start career in fashion. On other hand for psychology you will not have to invest much and can work from home. Thanks to technology you can even have sessions on skype and get paid easily.

I am a 12 commerce student and decided to do fashion designing after three years. But I am confused, what should I do now?

My sister had the same exact interest when she was 12. My advice is very simple. Choose your undergrad degree based on employability unless your are like very rich. So , go for the undergrad degree with what interests you like Math , economics , commerce. After your undergrad , you can look at a good masters program in like MBA in retail / fashion , or masters in fashion ( NIFT) or similar courses from reputed colleges like national institute of design. During your undergrad spare time , do some practical fashion work if you are interested  I.e. by learning googling online - for example you can design a clothing or do the interior of your own room to give you a sense of how good you are. Full time career in fashion after 12 needs investments , like in materials , for traveling to exhibit collections etc.So my advice is to go for fashion education after undergrad . By that time you will have a better picture of your interests or priorities. Good luck.

Females, what current fashion do you like or dislike?

I'm 13 so my style is kind of childish but I still LOVE the out there fashion I'm obsessed with Ed hardy, when I was younger I liked there shoes but now I like wearing my Adidas sandals or some Converse just regular stuff, I love my Uggs I own the knit pair there black very comfortable, I own like 3-4 pairs of high heels there just 6in.
I hate jeggings I think there dumb, I like the skinny jeans better actually I only wear skinny jeans, shorts, jean skirts or pencil skirts, yoga pants.
As for tops I will wear anything that's cute. My favorite accessories is a belt I find them cute because they can actually pull that one outfit together.

Today's outfit- Capri's, Adidas sandals, white and blue stripped Hollister top, Juicy couture best friend necklace, and juicy couture leopard bag.

What hair style do I need?

Hey buddy I think Im the right one answering there because hair style was always been a challenge for me because as a trend once I did tried short sides for quite some time but in mirror I did felt my face doesn't support that (hopefully I got my ears OK but since Im an oval sharp face guy) Soon I realized to keep some hairs on my sides to grow for some length and then get my hand a bit wet by any hair or just water and press my hands on sides of my hair like pushing them backwards 'amazingly that suited me far more than trimmed sides and my face comparatively looked far better'.So for you I will suggest quit the idea of doing some ''mohawk hairstyle'' pick something more like ''qiuff'' with some sides pressed.
