Im Tired And Eveything Seem To Be Speeding Up

Why does sometimes it seems like that everything is going very fast in our mind but in real life it is normal...?

I have ALSO FEEL THE SAME THING MANY TIME, IT FEELS WEIRD, I HAVE SEEN A POST RELATING TO THIS, SO I AM POSTING THAT HERE.Fast feeling" Change in time perception.Figured I'd share my story and see if anyone smarter then me has ever heard of this before.I have this really weird thing that has been happening to me for years I call it a "fast feeling". It usually happens when I'm concentrating really hard and very focused on something.Example: reading a book, drawing, working a spreadsheet at work etc. What I experience is a change in the perception of time and increase in my auditory capabilities. Everything feels like it's happening way faster and louder then it should. If I'm typing it feels like it's triple the speed and sounds like I'm pounding the keys. Walking feels like speed walking and I find myself trying to slow down. Things I never noticed or heard before like a clock across the house in a different room suddenly becomes a loud ticking. If I have the tv or music playing it sounds like someone turned it way up.I've googled the symptoms or the phrase "fast feeling" and how found many people who experience the same thing but never have I found an answer in any forum as to what causes it.For anyone interested here are some more things I've noticed about it. Curiosity has caused me to start my own self study and I try to pay attention to the little details every time it happens now.Started happening when I was 10-12. (28 now) I tend to get this foggy feeling at the back of my head right before it fully hits me. Often happens when I'm concentrating or focused. More likely to happen when late at night or tired. Happens very randomly but maybe 2-5 times a year. Only lasts about 5-15 min (15 min would be long). I'm not scared or anxious when it happens. Things feel and sound different but I know I'm also aware I'm moving at normal speed. No dizziness or vertigo or visual hallucinations, Big audio and time perception changes. No drug or alcohol influence needed. No headache pain.Things that I don't think it is: Alice in wonderland syndrome (no size distortion) Panic attack (no fear element, sometimes I'll just sit back and experience it like you would a short high)Would love to see a study done on it since I'm obviously not the only one but it's so infrequent and randomly occurring I think it would be hard to test.SOURCE; REDDIT.

Weird feeling of everything moving fast?

Randomly out of no where I get this weird feeling where everything is really slow but also really fast at the same time. Whether somebody is talking or I'm just moving. Slight movements sometime seem really fast, like just taking something out of my backpack or moving. There's nothing physical about it, I don't have a headache or fatigue or any problems with my ears or eyesight. It's just a strange feeling that just takes over me. I used to get this a lot when I was little, it feels kind of like an odd feeling taking over me and everything around me. It all just slows down and then fast again, who ever is talking to me or whatever I'm doing. I really don't like it, has anyone else experienced this?

Does your brain make time seem faster when you are tired?

Ok, well this morning after I got up I was listening to some music and it seemed like it was playing very fast, and so I checked the time of the song to see if it was playing fast, and it was, but I asked my father if he thought that the song was playing fast by looking at the seconds on the song( on an iPhone, so you can see the seconds and minutes of the song), an he said it was playing at regular speed, so I looked at a stopwatch and it was going fast as well, this seems to happen a lot when i am tired. So is my brain percieving time as faster than it really is?

Internet Speed dropped from 1gbps to 100mbps...?

Lets clarify one thing first. You do NOT have 1 Gbps internet service. You might have that kind of bandwidth on your LAN. NOT your internet. Secondly, 100 mbps is plenty fast enough to run anything on the internet. Last but not least, a 1 Gbps switch only works on a router that supports 1Gbps which I seriously doubt you even have. Explain everything on your LAN including make and model numbers. Also do a speedtest on a PC wired to your router at the site below and post it.

http://speedtest.net/

Edit: That isn't even close to 1 Gbps. I'd say that you also took the test on a wireless pc on your network because your ping is WAY to high. Post explicit details on who you have service with and what package you have. Also post makes and models of all your network hardware. Your link shows Time Warner/Roadrunner as your provider and in your area the top tier service is 50Mbps at 74 bucks a month. I'd bet you are paying for basic internet which is 3Mbps for 29 bucks a month. Even if you HAD a home network or LAN at 1Gbps, you'll only get the speeds your internet package provides. I might also add that even at 3Mbps, you can't download from a server any faster than they upload.

How to speed up time in school ?

Are you in college??

Cause Man if you know like I know,...you'll appreciate how slow the time appears to move because once I got out of high school it appeared to "warp"!!

Does time pass faster when I'm tired?

What's true is time is relative (physics) AND time is subjectively experienced.

But what your idea doesn't address is the energy you'll need to sustain tasks over a long period of time when your brain and body are fatigued from a lack of sleep. While the start of your day indeed may seem to go by more quickly because you are sleepy/groggy, you may also get less work done because concentration is poorer when you are sleep-deprived. Plus there's a good chance you will feel exhausted part way through the day, and possibly cranky too. That will suck.

Our digital clock on the stereo system of our 2007 Chrysler Sebring car is too fast ?

go to your dealer. there is a tsb for this problem. the wireless control module controls the clock functions, and the software needs to be reprogrammed. you will be in and out in less than a half hour.
