Im Trying To Find A Old Reggaee Song I Dont Know The Singer But I I Kniw The Lyrics Call Dont Stop

Why do singers repeat the same lyric multiple times in a song?

In music we often have a “chorus” after every verse, the traditional format of a song is 3 verses 2 choruses but nowadays 2 verses and 2 choruses is common. The chorus is a repetition of lyric that binds the verses together and give the song its title and feeling. The chorus is what I will use as an example for “repeating lyric” it is essential to repeat keywords in a song so that it “rings” otherwise if you don't repeat certain lyrics the song could be just one endless stream with no form and no message or title. Repeating the words helps to paint a mental picture or helps to get the point across. For example Tina Turner-Private dancer. She says in her chorus”… I'm a private dancer, dancer for money, do what you want me to do….I'm a private dancer a dancer for money, any old music will do.”So in this chorus she repeats 2 phrases or sets of lyrics “private dancer” and “dancer for money” to set the tone of the song and activates your emotion or intuition. Without the repetition of these lyrics I could have never remembered this song and the song would have not been able to “hit me” the way it did. I hope I have managed to answer your question.

Trying to use "quick mix"on www.pandora.com. I would really appreciate the help.?

I have found the website www.pandora.com, For me it's great, I am able to listen some of my favorites on pandora. And I can liston to other artist's music, and I really enjoy that. Recently a new feature was added, called "quick mix", It's a great for me as I dont really know the artist/the song, and the great thing about this feature is that"pandora"looks up different types of songs or other artists that I might enjoy based on previous music I have asked for thru Pandora.com. The question I need answers for is How do I use the Quick Mix feature on my Mac?? Also can I open other windows while I am doing something else and still listen to Pandora?

What kind of music do the most intelligent people listen to?

Typically smart people listen to music what appeals to their own taste, while stupid people listen to music which appeals to their group of reference. Smart people tend to be individualists while the lesser endowed of the cerebral performance tend to be herd souls. But there is a correlation - not causation - between IQ and musical taste; the higher one’s IQ is, the more he or she prefers complex melodies and lyrics, while the lower it is, the higher preference on rhythm. There is also a weird - really weird - correlation between latitude and musical preference: the closer one’s home is the Equator, the higher the preference of ‘light’ musical styles like reggae, soca or calypso, while the higher the latitude and closer to poles, the higher the preference of ‘dark’ musical styles like heavy metal. Unfortunately, latitude and IQ has also correlation: the average IQ tends to be the lowest on Equator and rise towards both poles, North and South. My own experience is that the most intelligent people tend to prefer classical music and prog metal. The reason is simple: classical music is extremely complex and full of all kinds of melodic and harmonic variations and decorations - and prog metal is today’s classical.Other “heavy” or “hard” styles, such as nerdcore, death metal, hero metal, experimental rock, progressive rock and art rock tend to be also popular amongst the highly intelligent. If someone likes Queen, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, David Bowie or Led Zeppelin, he or she is likely to be quite bright. Many highly intelligent are also into jazz, bepop, jazz rock and crossover styles.

What's the meaning of Sia's Chandelier song?

The video makes sense only with the lyrics. And I know it's hard to concentrate on the lyrics while watching the video. So I suggest that you listen to lyrics first. The song talks about people with drug, alcohol addiction. “Party girls don't get hurt” means that once you have enough alcohol in your system, it numbs your senses. Which is actually true. Maddie Ziegler (the dancer) portrays a girl high on alcohol.Initially, you can see her doing crazy stuff in the video depicting foolish and mindless things drug/alcohol addicts do. Such things may hurt them and they may regret it the next day but since thoer senses are numbed, it doesn't matter at that moment.“1 2 3 , 1 2 3 drink” is when Maddie gulps down invisible shots obliterating her bad memories. As we come in to chorus, the dance steps are nothing but personification of the song lyrics. The girl is sad and just going through her life living one day at a time. She is scared and unhappy. ( I'm holding on for dear life, won't look down won't open my eyes, keep my glass full until morning light) She wants alcohol to take all of her pain away. The rest od the song as I said earlier is just enacting the lyrics. The creepy end where Maddie bows three times MAYBE the loner girl challenging the viewer/listener to dare come in her life and help her. I say DARE because the girl thinks that nobody in his or her sane mind would like to interact and engage in such a complicated and depressing life.NOTE: I'm not sure about the last para.PS: Maddie Ziegler does lyrical dance in the video. If you need help understanding the lyrics, feel free to ask me.

Intro to Not Gonna Die, don't know one word?

Death surrounds
My heartbeat’s slowing down
I won’t take this world’s abuse
I won’t give up, I refuse!
This is how it feels when you’re bent and broken
This is how it feels when your dignity’s stolen
When everything you love is leaving
You hold on to what you believe in

I like to listen mostly to English songs, but very few Hindi/Bengali songs. Does that mean I'm showing disrespect towards my mother tongue?

I don't think it means disrespecting your mother tongue if you don't listen to the songs of your language. I mean we all have our own taste in music and we tend to pursue what we like or are interested in. There is nothing wrong in preferring genres you like over what you're not THAT interested in. I'll quote a small stupid example, a Punjabi guy falls in love with a Tamilian girl, does that mean the Punjabi guy disrespects his religion or culture or whatever you call it. No, he just chose what he was fond of. You don't have to force yourself to listen to your native language songs just to portray that you have respect towards your native language. Respect is something you should feel within yourself is what I believe. Besides, stop categorizing music on the basis of language or ethnicity, just see it as music with different genres. You like it, you hear it. That's all.Not sure how valid my explanation was but yeah this is my perspective when it comes to music.

What's the best way to find a song name if Shazam doesn't recognize it?

If you have an iPhone then use Siri and Siri will recognize the song and will tell. The only flaw with this is if there is other noise it may not be clear and can mess it up and if the song is not published then it cannot recognize it.
